      Auron's Celestial Weapon Help :S

This is just a really stupid question because I get confused easily. I understand everything I need to do except what I'm about to tell you. I've checked several guides and they all say something along the lines of this:

"To obtain it you must capture 10 monsters of 10 different species in 10 different regions and after that you will receive it in Battle Arena."
Uhh, ok. So I THINK I need to capture 10 different monsters (1 of each?) of 10 different species (1 monster from each species?) in 10 different regions (from ten locations on he airship list?)

Because I'm really confused. Should I just go and try to capture 10 of every monster? Would that be my best bet or is it really easy and I just don't understand?

You're going along the right lines, the full requirements for Auron's Masamune are (in no specific order) :

Find the Rusty Sword which is located near The Cavern of the Stolen Fayth.

Go to the hidden Lord Mi'ihen statue at Mushroom Rock (it's on the way to Djose's path) and activate the glyph there with a celestial mirror, this nets you the base Masamune.

Find the Mars Crest which is right at the bottom of the Oldroad. (Mi'ihen Highroad).

Capture enough monsters to create ten Arena and/or Species conquest monsters, the arena owner will hand over the Mars Sigil.

The simplest way to do it would be to go through the areas in order and capture at least one of every enemy, whilst finding the other ones you'll probably end up creating a few Species conquest creatures unknowingly. It's not difficult, just takes time.

I'm experiencing a glitch it seems... I'm trying to get all the enemies in the Djose Highroad, but according to the Arena, and a bunch of guides and wikis I've inspected, I'm missing the Gandarewa. I previously caught 10 Gandarewa for Mushroom Rock Road, so now it keeps telling me the capture limit is full. So I'm unable to capture any more from Djose. What do I do? :S

If you've captured 10 then you can't capture any more, also are you sure you checked the second page of the monster list in the arena? Certain areas have more than one page which you can go through by pressing left/right.

I know. But I captured ten of those monsters in Mushroom Rock, but now I need the same enemies for Djose Highroad but it won't let me capture them because I already have 10 in another area category.

That may be because the same monster appears in both regions. If that's the case your capture limit will be at 10 cause it will count both areas. So from that point just capture different monsters in that area until you have you 10, just remember to capture 10 of each.

Thanks to my SS for this sig, great job.

Yeah, you'll see this a few times. Certain monsters appear in more than one area, though they're generally listed down as in the ones they mainly frequent.

So what am I supposed to do about that? Am I just screwed when it comes to getting every area's monsters on the list? :S Can I not get the Arena Conquest bosses for that area no matter what?

No, all monsters still go towards whatever section they're listed in, regardless of where you capture them. I wouldn't worry about it too much to be honest. When you start getting to the point where you're looking for specific monsters this kinda stuff may come in handy though, say if you seem to be finding them more in another area.
