A battle of luck

Character look:

*A dark portal opens on rocky terrain and a man wearing all black walks out he has blonde hair and quite the british accent*

"I'd rather we just skip the formalities"


Ooc: I suppose i should tell you i'm luxord so luck will hopefully be on my side. also power= same as yours, based upon the roll of the dice or the drawing of the card.

"You make the first move luv."

Taking a drag of his cigarette, Mystro really wondered why he even showed up. He dropped it on the hard, stone ground. Regardless, he was here, therefor, he would do what he came here to do. He'd have to start in battle before his ability could come into play.

Mystro decided to start it with hand to hand since it was about all he could do. He would start with something simple, very relaxed with not much force as he sent a right hook towards the blond man.

[The Freeshooter]

"A challange is it?" *Luxord raises a card to block the fist and summons anotner card to launch a pincer attack against his opponent.

"Don't waste your time away luv, you'll regret it."

Luxord draws a card and smiles, turning it towards his opponent he yells, "Slow!" and time itself gets distorted long enough for Luxord to retreat to higher ground before the effect wears off.

Coin toss: Heads; tails: Ability does not aid Mystro; ability gained: Thermokinesis, the ability the manipulate the temperatures of things around him.

IC: "Tch..." off to a bad start, gaining such a useless ability this early. Whatever, maybe his ability would change or something could happen to make him use this power.

"I made my offensive mood, where's yours?" Mystro said.

[The Freeshooter]

"Hmm, well not bad, another gambler of fate, very intresting. Well I suppose I could dust of this tactic, Die!"

As he finishes, a giant 12 sided die falls from the sky and begins spinning.

"Hit the die, the number it lands on will result in a ability 2 of these are benificial to you the rest for me."

Coin toss: Heads; heads:Ability aids Mystro; Ability gained: Pyrokinesis.

IC: Good, a beneficial change. But he was stuck here, he only had a 1/5 chance of hitting a beneficial side to himself. "You hit it..." Mystro said as he made a blazing flame engulf around the die "But I'll be sure you can't see what you hit."

Mystros own way of being a bit more observative.

"Trying to outwit me luv? Not gonna work!" Luxord pulls another card from his deck, "Perfect, HASTE!" Luxord increased his speed 10 fold and ran into the fire implanted a card in the ground and dropped a second die.

"They don't call me the gambler of fate for nothing."

[Squee]

OOC: Just wanted to say, my character isn't the one flipping the coin, it's me flipping it, so from a specters view, Mystro is just changing skills at random.

Coin toss: Tails; no change

IC: "I'd like to be a gambler, but mines just random. God knows when it changes or what it will change to...you got it good, man."

Mystro still was pyrokinetic, so he made the flames around the now 2 dice fade down and die. "I'm still not striking them." He could see that his enemy was now faster, so as a defensive maneuver he surrounded himself in a dome of flame. He needed a new ability, so all he could do was wait for one to come.

"Big mistake, CARD! Release your power! Demyx come out luv I have brought you here to momentarily aid me.

"Anything for you luxy!" Demyx squealed, then ran over to the fire and yelled, "DANCE WATER DANCE!" It begins to rain and 25 water clones appear and put out the flames and then the start attacking their opponent.

"Bye bye luxy, see ya later!" Demyx warped away from the field.

OOC: The water clones and the rain stays even after Demyx leaves, also Luxord now has 3 more Organization XIII cards.
