Help against sin

Ok i've not seen this thread yet so here goes, so i've gotten to the end of the game and am stuck at sin right after u blow him out of the sky and i cant figure out how to beat him he keeps sucking me into him and then boom game over. if anyone knows any good strategies i'd appreciate it greatly would love to beat it and add it to my collection

you have to be able to kill him before he sucks you in.

the only thing you can do is increase your status parameters until you can beat him. Also, I believe you can use trigger commands to clear his overdrive bar. If it's there, it will only work so many times though

you wont just be able to keep using it

If you cant beat him you need to level up more. That attack that you can learn that reduces the time til your next attack is handy. Delay cut? I think tidus gets it first. Assuming your on the standard sphere grid.
Use overdrives. Your pysical attacks should be enough to beat him if your strong enough.

As L said, I believe there's a trigger command for Tidus that allows you to drain Sin's overdrive gauge...but I also think you can only do that once.

The biggest thing is to be appropriately leveled. You'll spend most of the fight out of weapon range, so having powerful spells will be critical. Yuna's Holy and Lulu's Ultima/Flare (Doublecast if you have it) should work well, particularly if you have bothered to fully unlock Nirvana. If you don't have those...you probably aren't strong enough to survive.

Just throw everything you have at him, since the battle is basically timed. If things get hairy, have your aeons' Overdrive gauges full and use those at the end.

the best you can do is just train up more... you could try using summons overdrives.. allways help with bosses in the game, also.. you might be using the wrong party try switching the party around

also... i think you can't use the likes of tidus... cuz i think he is to far to hit with normal attacks

Think the attack your trying to say is Delay Buster. Tidus learns to first of which is delay hit. Also besides the overdrives of your characters the Haste spell will help tons. If I remember I know Yuna and Tidus, and maybe Auron all have those extra talk commands to lower Sins overdrive gauge. If you want to use aeons use Magus sisters or Anima since they have pretty much the most powerful aeon overdrive attacks. Other then that if you cant kill him when even lowering his overdrive yea its your stats and very rarely your weapons. If you don't have your Celestial weapons then have weapons that boost by at least 10% your magic and strength.

Delay Hit/Buster doesn't work on Sin. I think you may be thinking of Quick Hit?

I was trying to correct the spelling of the attack before, though yeah quick hit would work as well. Just keep spamming that after haste until Tidus is no longer getting any turns. Depending on what weapon you have equipped well any that would help get his overdrive to fill and you hsabe him use his overdrives like crazy.
