Batman: Arkham City trailer introduces Hugo Strange


Yeah. This is one of the reasons why 2011’s going to be “1337″.

Batman: Arkham City got its first full airing since it was revealed at last years VGAs as Arkham Asylum 2.
The trailer for this year’s event sees us being introduced to Hugo Strange, who is in charge of Arkham City itself.
The clip sees Batman take on a SWAT force, a member of which we see being tortured by Strange.
Going by tonight’s trailer, don’t miss this. Watch it below.
Batman: Arkham City releases next fall for PS3, 360 and PC.

First of all I am a huge fan of Batman...I like him in Justice League (animations) all his animation movies and Live Action movies..

Its like he has no powers at all, but without him the world would have been destroyed a long time ago...(Im basing this on Justice League)

I never played Batman: Arkham Asylum (Only Demo) but it seemed fun, although I cant be bothered buying it...

If this new title shows promising gameplay trailers etc in the year to come.. I will definitely purchase this...





Now as for this CGI trailer....its stunning imo.. I never seen a CGI clip with this magnitude...im sorry NEVER...

At first I was like is this a real live action trailer....but no its CGI..

The details...its ridiculous....I couldnt tell difference from reality at 80% of the trailer...

But CGI is only CGI...I'll wait for the same level of beauty but in gameplay.

Its on my TO WATCH list.

I never really expected to like Arkham Asylum because superhero games are never usually my kind of thing until the demo enticed me into getting the game. And I loved it to bits, so I already had the sequel on my wishlist since. As expected, they're taking this down a much darker route than the first, which I kind of welcome - give Bats more of an actual threat this time. I've seen some people whinge about the absence of driving gameplay involved with the Batmobile which I don't quite understand. Okay yes, it's a whole city now (kind of), but I'd rather they build up on what was accomplished with Arkham Asylum than shoehorn in some driving sequences that probably won't fit in well.

I saw comments on this trailer at Gametrailers about how they want the game to be rated M. Now, I don't mind if this is a mature rated game, because I think it would fit the dark mood they're putting out with the trailer. However, am I the only one who would be bothered if they made it so that Batman could kill all the villains?

I did play Batman Arkham Asylum and it was really well done... However I am not big on Batman or superheroes in general. I do see that they took a darker approach on Arkham city though. I would say they sorta went Assassins creed on Batman now with Arkham asylum and now Arkham City I downloaded the demo of Arkham Asylum when it came out. Played that and thought it was a great game. I didnt buy the game however. I beat it at a friend's house. Hugo Strange... One of the scarier bad guys

I didn't expect Arkham Asylum to be as good as it was cause I was never really into batman games and thought it would be crap but the game was done really well and I couldn't find anything wrong with it the enclosed places worked really well and the gadgets you got to use were brilliant. I have really high exceptions of this game because of the first so I am hoping that the story will have a couple of twists and that there will be different gadgets to use.

New Arkham City trailer shows Batman and Joker fighting together

A trailer which seems to be from Batman: Arkhum City has appeared featuring the Joker and Batman fighting together against bad guys.

We know this doesn’t sound right, but that’s what’s going on in the trailer. This also probably means the game will featuring co-op.

It’s finally here. Warner Brothers Games and Rocksteady Studios have released the first gameplay trailer for Batman: Arkham City, the sequel to 2009′s Batman: Arkham Asylum. The Dark Knight, Two-Face, Cat Woman, and The Joker all make an appearance.
We also get a look at Batman’s gliding ability, amongst other things.
The game’s out for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on October 18, 2011.

I'm excited about the game because my favorite villian Two Face is going to be in it. That's reason enough for me to want to play it. I thought the first game was really good but it didn't really hold alot of replay value for me. I also think they need to work on the stealth system of the next game. The one in the first game just felt clunky to me.

I agree 100%. Two-Face is my favorite Batman villain. I'm so psyched about this game coming out. It looks great and I like how your tools will play more effectively in combat this time. Arkham Asylum was the best Batman game ever made and I'm hoping Arkham City can top it. I heard the map is 4x bigger then in Arkham Asylum. I think it's going to be epic.

I'm glad Harlequin is going to make a return in Arkham City, I loved everything about her character in Arkham Asylum. If the game is anything like Arkham Asylum then it'll be amazing, I'm not really excited about villain A or B returning since I was never big on superhero comics but if the keep the basics that were set in AA and use that has a platform with developed game mechanics it should be unreal. Cannot wait.
