Not many games had full on voice acting around the time this game came out, tbh. I played it when it was first released so I wasn't really disappointed. My favorite FF games are IV and IX, neither of which feature voice acting so it's not a big deal to me. xD

At the time I didn't even know games had voice acting then. I first started playing this game a month ago and understanding that you can see why there wasn't any voice acting. If you want FFVII voices though you could always watch the movie or play the spinoff games or something :/

Ps: I prefer no voices at all so I can imagine what they sound like in any way I want. XD

Well, considering how awful the dubbing in the Advent Children movie was, I am extremely glad that the game didn't have voice acting back then, it probably would have been even worse.

As Claire said, most game didn't have voice acting when FFVII came out anyway.

I don't know, but I can't believe I am saying this. That ending sequence is actually better without voice acting. It feels more touching and impactful in some ways. I don't mind if there were voice acting then though.
