is sephiroth as hard as people say? I disagree. it was a tough fight, granted, but I beat him on my second try and the characters I used were all level 60 somethings. but all in all it was a truly awesome and epic fight. truly epic.

I don't think the Sephiroth fight, or any of the Sephiroth based encounters in FF7 were particularly daunting or difficult to conquer. There are much harder 'bosses' in the game such as ruby and emerald, fights which took hours of preparation on my part to beat. The Sephiroth fights are amazing pieces and epic fights to say the least but i wouldn't say they were hard at all.

My party was around lvl 50-60 and I have beaten him in the first try. I think the boss battle was easy, or that I was lucky. Lol fine I was following a guide too, so comparing with me is kind of unfair. I wish the sephiroth vs cloud solo battle was not scripted. It will be cool if we can fight him as his grand final form inside Cloud's mind. Then the final boss battles will be much harder.

Do you know that Safer Sephiroth's HP changes depends on the levels of your character and how you defeated Jenova synthesis?

"Safer∙Sephiroth's base stats are listed in the table, but they change depending on many variables:
-Each character at Level 99 (not counting Aerith) adds 30,000 max HP, 2 Attack, 20 Def, 5 Magic, and 16 MDef.
-Casting Knights of the Round on Jenova∙SYNTHESIS adds 80,000 max HP.
-Any time Bizarro∙Sephiroth's head was killed during the previous fight reduces 100 max HP up to a maximum reduction of 24,900 HP.

Considering all these, Safer∙Sephiroth's maximum stats (within brackets in the table) are:
400,000 max HP, 246 Attack, 260 Defense, 140 Magic Power, and 308 Magic Defense."

note: his base HP is 80,000


Also, if I am not wrong, the guide I am referring to says that you can fight bizarro sephiroth with more than 1 party depending on your levels.


Oh and in case some don't know, SuperNova CAN'T kill you. It cuts 15/16th off your current HP.

So having all characters at level 99 is not too wise >_>

Hmm let's see. when i first enter the battle, i have all my limit breaks charged.

Bizarro: Easy as. attack the arms and the core? easy, they don't exactly have much in HP and they don't have any stregnths or weaknesses as far as i know.

Safer. Omnislash. nuff said

I dont really like to fight Sephiroth at too higher a level, primarily because it it is just to easy, but then again the Monsters in the Northern Cave wereonly pushing level 60+ so setting Spehiroth was not going to be that much higher than area monsters.

I dont like fighting Sephiroth with the Ultimate Weapons Either, they a an easy battletoo easy and pointless.

Safer Sephiroth: Yes thats the fella is the better of the 3 battles IMO.
