FFIV: Love it or Hate it?

I just beat the game. Of all the Final Fantasy games I've played through this one is truly amazing and that is saying something.

for the PS that included FFIV and Chrono Trigger at a local store so I went ahead and bought it.

I can play it on my backwards compatible PS3.

I've just started it .It seems ok but seems to lack the magic of FFVI for example or of course FFVII.

It is still new to me and I don't feel the bonds that I feel with the other games thus far.
I hope my feelings will change.

I bought it for the SNES (as FFII) a few months ago and played it almost non-stop until completion a few days later! Zeromus was a worthy final boss as I had to level up a little bit because he kept killing me. Although I feel the next two installments improved on it in various ways, this is certainly a great game and one that I look forward to revisiting in the future.

Nearly a perfect game, and the reason I fell in love with the series. If it weren't for FFIV, I doubt I'd be here today.

I've probably replayed it more times than any other game, ever. The fact that I can list, in order, and from memory, every single boss in the game should tell you how much I love it (and how little I got laid as a young teen).

And the music...my GOD the music...

It is super mega awesome, I loved this game. It was tough as hell though

I absolutely loved FFIV. My favourite game of the series. Had a great story line, fantastic characters, amazing music and- everything about it I found to be great.
It also has Rydia, my favourite character.

I remember getting this game for my 8th birthday, and I still have the same cartridge on my shelf. Played it nonstop that day. I feel bad for the kids that came to my birthday party that year, because they had to play second fiddle to this great game. Haha. Love it, definitely.

I just bought the complete collection a couple days ago and started it. I'm not too far in (only about 6 or 7 hours), but man this is turning out to be a really good one. The story and characters hooked me right away, and the only reason I stop playing is to charge my dang PSP (my battery dies horribly fast).

Love it. More than any other FF game. It was my favorite when they first launched the PSX version in Europe and I loved it since then.
