Hahahhaahah thats exactly how I feel xD this new means Xeno is alive finally xD. What a great day this turned into because of this! Apparently its codename is Monado. The music on the official site sounds like Yasunori Matsuda but I though he left monolith The music is epic on the official site just listen to it!

for the wii, huh? unfortunate, as i don't plan on owning a wii anytime soon. the giants look like they're made from stone.

i hope this is a new series, 'cause xenosaga ended on a fairly definitive note as far as its characters are concerned.

Thanks so much for posting this--I might not have ever heard about it otherwise, having given up all hope of this happening and not really being in the loop as far as game news goes. Out of all the games I've played Xenosaga was the only series to topple FF out of my "favorite" position, and that's saying something, especially since I only discovered it about a year ago. But it's so amazing, omg. And I know my favorite characters/subplot (see my avatar) have only a slim chance of being in it, but as long as it takes place in the same universe, that's fine with me.

Any word on what part of "Spring 2010"? 'Cuz it's already spring...

I hope theres freakin 2 players this time,its always the best rpgs that have no 2 players or multiplayer.I wouldnt mind if its a new series with new characters,just hope theres multiplayer.

Eh, Im not too excited for 2 reasons

One - Since Nintendo bought Monolith Soft, we will never get an RPG in the Xeno series that tackles mature themes and makes you think.

Secondly, it's on the Wii.

Monado: Beginning of the World was just a temporary title for Monolith Soft’s Wii RPG. It’s real name is Xenoblade.

“We decided to call it Xenoblade to honor Mr. Tetsuya Takahashi who poured his soul into making this and who has been working on the Xeno series,” Satoru Iwata said at an investor’s briefing.

That little bit of information also confirms Takahashi, the creator of Xenogears and Xenosaga, is working on Xenoblade. Takahashi’s last game was Soma Bringer, which Soraya Saga wrote the script for. Other Monolith Soft titles include Disaster: Day of Crisis and Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier Exceed.

Nintendo says Xenoblade is a full scale RPG and will be ready for Japan this spring. It is currently has a flexible 2010 window for North America where it’s still being called Monado: Beginning of the World.

2010 looks like it's shaping up to be a good year in which to be a Wii owner With games like this, Epic Mickey, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 I'll be a happy gamer, that's for sure.
