I want a challenge

I just finished FFV for the 10th time and I was thinking. What would be a good challenge to play with so if you have any ideas please post them TY

Hmm...how about never use the second slot abilities (like don't give non-magic classes Black/White/Time, etc.) and never use the Legendary weapons.
Really basic, I know, but I'll come up with others that aren't the typical "LOW LEVEL, BARTZ ONLY, NO ITEMS, FINAL DESTINATION LOL" kind of rules.

You could always try just using Bare the whole game. haha, or better idea...

put all your offensive people (Knight, Monk, etc.) in the back row, and all your magical people in the front row. this way "ATTACK" will do less damage and mages will die faster!

Oh, how about one to give restrictions on magic?

Only use Potions/Hi-Potions, and the like to restore HP. No Cure/Drain (I forget if that's actually IN V, but w/e), nor Regen to heal yourself.

That'll sure make the group into quite the frat party, won't it? XD

How about playing FFV the same way you would play FF1? I mean, just sticking to the first job classes given to you in the game. You just have to pick the job classes you want, then sticking to them the entire game, switching jobs only to accommodate FF1's class change system.

As for me, I have some ideas myself:

Fighter -> Knight (Get only Level 3 White Magic)

Thief -> Ninja (You can either get the necessary Thief Skills (Find Passage, Steal, Mug) or master the Thief class, then get only either Level 3 Black Magic or Level 3 Time Magic (your choice), then switch to Ninja as soon as it comes around.)

Monk -> Master (no job switch necessary)

Red Mage -> Red Wizard (get DualCast/XCast to simulate the FF1 RW's ability to cast Firaga/Blizzaga/Thundara with two shots of Fira/Blizzara/Thundara respectively)

White Mage -> White Wizard (you can consider getting XCast abillity from the Red Mage class so you can simulate FF1 WW's Curaja and Diaja with two shots of Curaga (use against the undead to simulate Diaja)

Black Mage -> Black Wizard (you can consider mastering the Time Mage job class to complete the FF1 BW's magic spell set)

Try using not commonly used jobs like Bard, Geomancer, or Beastmaster. If you want something random, you should look into the Final Fantasy V Four Job Fiesta. You get four random jobs and you help raise funds for charity.
