Sounds pretty good, just hope it has a decent fighting system that doesn't get old after 10 minutes.

Yeah, it sounds pretty interesting. It's a shame the Saiyan race isn't available when creating your character, but I can overlook that. I'll keep an eye open for this one. A Dragonball RPG is much more appealing to me than another fighting game.

Being able to grow up will be ace... Spend your youth collecting dragonballs and then power up and do missions. It sounds quite good.

I'd probably like to play this, providing it can be quite friendly to use and I wouldn't have to play it for 50+ hours even to just start to get into it. Providing there is a lot for lower level players to still do then I think this should be fun.

I might consider becoming a namekian!

I first read about this last year when there was pretty much no info on it. It's good to see that it has been coming along. This looks like an MMO that I would actually consider buying. I can't wait to learn more about it.

Does seem like it'd be fun but it may not hit US shores. At least not for a long while if ever. Though fans may end up making private servers for it.

Apparantly Saiyans are sadly not a playable race. However some humans can learn how to go Super Saiyan. They haven't explained this yet but my guess is that (as this is set in the future) the Saiyan race has mixed with the human race and been watered down, no true surviving Saiyans remaining.

This makes sense as we'd already seen that happening over the course of the anime / manga, so it makes sense that a many generations later there are humans that have not enough Saiyan blood to indicate them as half-Saiyan, but that they might some Saiyan traits within them (such as a hidden ability to go SS if unlocked under the right conditions). I think that is probably what they are going for here.


But... While I'm glad you can go Super Saiyan, I'm sad we'll be losing our monkey tails and the ability to go Oozaru! Then again, that would be a bit of a crazy ability to keep under control on an online game, and night time would be almost impossible for non-Saiyans. So I can see why they did it.

If you think about it the more the blood mixes the more it may make the humans with saiyan blood stronger. They showed a bit of that at the end of GT with Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr. I believe they where 1/3 saiyan and were a lot stronger then Gohan when he was a kid. Though that still doesn't explain how Trunks and Goten started off so powerful but that may just have been to add them in as active characters.

There won't be any saiyans avaiable, Akira Toriyama the creator of Dragon Ball is supervising this project, and the game itself ignores the events in Dragon Ball GT since it was not created by Akira Toriyama.

I think this game as a lot of potential, myself i'm a namekian fan so i would choose them as my race.
