The Felidian are a race of cat-like people. The race is mostly female, with a ration of 3 in 4 being that gender. This race has usually been one of the dominant races in the Southern Independent Kingdoms of the Eastern Osean Continent, particularly the United Kingdom of Sapin.
The Felidian are cat like people, they are bipedal and look like cats. They have a wide variety of eye colors like blue, green and red, as well as hair colors from normal blacks, blonds and browns to vivid reds, whites and blues.
In addition to that, they have fur covering their entire bodies, like a cat would, as well as a prehensile tail (that can hold the weight as it would a normal arm) and cat ears that allows them to hear even a whisper. Their eyes allow them to see in dark as if a person would see through Night-Vision Goggles.
In addition to this, they also don't age as fast as humans, as Felidians can live up to an estimated 300 years (though most don't live past 250 years)
Felidian culture is based on a combination of Sapino (both Imperial and modern) and Centrun cultures(not related to FF7) (which in RL terms is Spanish and Roman, in that order). They believe in a monotheistic God and are in most cases, devout Catholics, tied to the Holy Church in Centrum, a city-state of Ratio. They wear generally the same clothing as human females sometimes like fancy dresses and high heeled shoes, though some prefer the more traditional Felidian clothing such as tunics and long, cotton pants.
Their cuisine is based on the current Sapino style, with most of their foods made from olive oil, and with foods grown from their colonies such as the Griswall Viceroyalty. However, Felidian Cruising also differs from that because of their consumption of fish and beef.
Their Social Structure is equivalent with the humans who live in Sapin and other Kingdoms. Felidians have in the past been put into positions of leadership in the Kingdom, such as nobility, military and clergy roles. There are many mercantile Felidians who travel the world and sell wares from exotic locations (including places like the Usean Continent). There are a few of them that are peasants, but they are treated with contempt and not mistreated, unlike many Absolutist Monarchs.
Affiliation: Neutral Good
Alberta has short brown hair that extends only to the neck. She also has blue eyes. Alberta also has an oval shaped face. As a Felidian, she also has brown ears extending upward at least three inches. Another Felidian Feature is her tail, which is a light brown in color which get's darker at the tip. She is petite in size, only 5 feet tall, and weighing 130 lbs.
Alberta's attire appears in a style similar to Arabic and Indian wear. (In origin, partially due to her place of birth, being in the Ugellan Coast, owned at the time by the Most Serene Republic of Eraclea.) Her garb is reminiscent of Delaran and Sudburian clothing, wearing a Blue sleeveless jacket. Underneath this jacket is a black shirt with white ruffled sleeves extending from the top of the shoulders to the bottom of the arm.
Alberta's wears a form of fingerless gloves that extends from the ruffled sleeves, these gloves are blue from the wrist to the bottom of the hand and black from the hand to the base of the fingers. There is an ornate design of a tiger on the top of the gloves.
Alberta wears a blue cotton pants and blue long shoes with intricate designs both on the end of the foot and the top of the shoe itself. She also wears a blue headband to keep her hair pulled back.
Personality: Cheery and optimistic, Alberta is the kind of person who tries her hardest to not let anything get her down. Her cheerfulness and enthusiasm makes her great when it comes to raising morale for her friends, family or people living in any village she appears in. (3-4) She also a nice person, and in rare cases, run into being overly apologetic.
Alberta's Cheerfulness is matched also by her stubbornness and playfulness. Once she makes a decision, she sticks by it, no matter what happens. She is also determined to win, and would even resort to pragmatism in order to do so. (1) Alberta is very playful, as she sometimes play jokes with people for fun. (2) When she is usually alone, she tries to think of the friends she meets. She is usually calm and sometimes docile on her own.
Alberta refuses to kill anyone innocent, but those that try to harm those innocent people or tries to attack Alberta she see's as fair game and would dispatch them with no regret.
First Impression: On First Impressions, People seem Alberta to be a nice and likable person based on attitude and speech. People find their spirits moved when speaking to her, and people can always count on her to get through with their lives.
If a person is open, Alberta would seem to like that person more, otherwise, some might think of her as somewhat rude and can infuriate a person over time.
Alberta's physical strength is average at best, being able to do 65 out 500 damage to an unarmored opponent. Her Magical strength is actually better, being able to do 90 out 500 to an opponent with a moderate level spell.
As a Felidian, Alberta's speed is high, ranging at speeds of up to 20 mph. She can run a mile in about 4:45.
Alberta has average endurance for a Felidian, being able to last in battle for 7 minutes before tiring herself out.
Alberta's Defense is also average both in physical and magical sets, being able to take 60 out of 500 from a weak physical attack from a blunt object and 55 out of 500 from a mage's weak magic spell.
Like any Felidian, Alberta has good reflexes, being able to dodge or catch an arrow with ease. Her reflexes make her hard to hit even in close range unless the opponent was equally as fast or greater than that.
Fighting Style: Alberta's fighting style is based on a more direct line of combat. She prefers to attack the enemy from multiple angles of attack using various abilities she has learned (see Abilities). As far as close range combat goes, Alberta is primarily defensive, hoping to uncover weak spots to exploit when facing an opponent.
Power Absorption: Alberta has the ability to absorb the powers, talents, and knowledge of humans and beasts alike by contact through her hands. While she can control how power she absorbs through thought, the power that her abilities has depends on how much power is absorbed. The abilities Alberta absorbs is permanent. It is very hard to absorb abilities from sapient beings (ie, humans, elves, moogles, etc) than it is with monsters.
Prolonged Absorption (calculated on level of stamina) can weaken the person through loss of Health, Mana and Stamina. After an extended period of time (depending on level of Stamina, around 3-20 minutes) it may be fatal.
(NOTE: I already know the stipulation, thought about it, and decided to go ahead with the idea)
Alberta carries a broadsword known as "Dragon Slayer". The sword is a high quality white steel blade with an ornate bronze hilt. On the 1 foot-long blade are runic markings, written in the ancient Ugellan language that translates to Dragon Killer. The weapon was said to be used to kill multiple dragons in the past. How Alberta was able to acquire the sword has been and still is currently unknown.
Alberta's magic is known as Blue Magic and it consists of the abilities of humans and beasts. It ranges from Generic to some people would consider to be outlandish to the outright bizarre.
Metallic Body: Alberta uses a Magical ability that toughens the muscles in her body until they become as dense as steel. In doing so, her physical defense is tripled and her attack power is increased by 50%. However, it reduces Alberta's speed by 66%. The ability lasts for 30 seconds plus 5 seconds per 1% MP. Costs 10% MP
Hydro Shot: Alberta creates an 4-inch orb of water that is cupped in both hands to side as it is being charged with water magic. Once fully charged, Alberta positions her hands in front and the water orb is shot from her hands, traveling at speeds of up to 35 mph. The attack deals water-damage and is capable of knocking an opponent back. Costs 35% MP
Superkick: Alberta launches a roundhouse kick to the face of the opponent. Costs 2% MP
Alberta Alessandra Colli-Marchi was born in De Baia di Ancoraggio Testa (The Bay of Anchorhead), in the Patran region in Southwestern Ugellas, under control by the Most Serene Republic of Ugellas. Her Great Grandfather came into the region from Eraclea during the Usean Crusades and was trained in the art of Blue Magic during his service as an ambassador to the Timurid Altooran-Merition Empire (and later the Safavid Sudburian Empire)
This involved the use of absorbing a mineral known as Cobaltstone, a stone with very high magical properties, and one of more safer ways of allowing the body to absorb power. It also helped that once the stone is absorbed, the person's descendents also recieve that ability as well.
These lessons were passed down from generation to generation as the family adopted the Colli-Marchi name and lived in the Patra region of Ugellas.
Alberta, the next in line of the family, would learn her Blue Magic skills as well as the power to absorb abilities through her mother, an accomplished Blue Mage for the Eracleans.
After learning as much as she knows from her mother, Alberta decided to walk the Earth and learn as many abilities as she could. Her mother originally against the idea, finally accepted the decision and wished her off on good graces.
She travels the world in to find new people and continue to learn new abilities.

Appearance: Juan has Long Black Hair extending to the shoulderblades, which is tied in a ponytail. He also has Brown oval eyes. He is 5'7" and weighs 220 lbs. His face is also rounded and nose is pointed. Juan is Caucasian. Having done some rigorous training, he has a bodybuilder like physique, being very muscular.
Attire: He is equipped with the standard Dragoon armor. That being a purple chestplate and Arm armor (which covers the shoulders, upper arm and lower arm with a flexible point at the elbow) with a spike jetting out of the shoulder armor at the center of the shoulder, coming out at 45 degree angles.
His Leg Armor covers his Upper Legs, Lower Legs and Feet, and is also colored in Purple. This plate armor is made of Darksteel, a reddish-purple tinted metal made using the fusion of Iron and Dark Matter, giving the armor a reddish tint, which is then painted in purple. The armor is lightweight yet durable, and can withstand attack.
Personality: Juan is proud of his country, both the Kingdom of Sapin where he was born in and the colony where he was raised, as such he is dedicated to the cause and the glory of the Sapinish Empire, the so-called, "Empire for which the sun never sets."
Juan does worry about his soldiers under his command and wishes the best for all of them. He is a dedicated officer and a gentlemen, and would strive to see that his men are properly fed, equipped and ready for battle. Some people believe this is akin to Juan being more like a father figure to his men than some pushy authority figure, however it works.
He strives to achieve his goals first and foremost. He is a simply a hard working man who wishes to achieves his goals and advance forward in the society of the colonial state.
First Impression: The soldiers under his command think of John as more of a older brother archetype than that of a pushy authority figure. It is because of this that he seems more likable among the people who serve under him.
Among the civilians, he a dually loyal man to his country, right or wrong, while that has earned him the support of many of the populists, extremists or independents find him intolerable.
Juan has relatively decent Strength, being able to use his strength to take on two men yet still manage to hold his own against them. A normal swing with his lance would deal 70 out of 600 HP to an opponent wearing no armor.
Juan is relatively fast by average human standards, being able to run at least 7 mph with full armor on. Without the armor, his speed increases to about 8 mph.
Juan has relatively average endurance, being able to hold his own in a fight at maximum power for 4 minutes. He can stretch this to about 6 minutes when fighting only at 80%. Because of this, he usually fights in a more shock-value type of combat.
Juan has decent vitality. He can take 55 out of 500 from an opponent attacking him with a blunt object. His Magical Defense is actually lower. Juan can take 75 out of 500 from a mage who uses the weakest spell on him.
Juan's reflexes are average compared to other humans. While he can dodge sword swings and blunt objects with some difficulty, he cannot dodge any projectiles like arrows and muskets.
Weapon: Juan carries a Spear known as the "Crux Spear." The spear is made of bronze, complete with a removable bronze blade for close quarter combat. Both pieces are crafted with designs similar to Sapin, while the weapon seems dissimilar to Ugellan city-state technology. It is lightweight and makes an effective weapon against steel weaponry.
The blade is roughly the size of a dagger, about 6 inches long, while the staff portion itself is roughly as tall as John, about 56 inches from top to bottom, with a 1 1/2 inch diameter.
Fighting Style: Juan is quick with his staff. Due to the blades design, it is used mainly for thrusting, although it can be used as a slashing weapon as well.
Juan uses mainly thrusting and slashing. Due to his use in more of shock and awe, his attacks can range from powerful yet slow, like thrusting, to swift yet weaker slashes. His jumping ability also allows him to launch himself up and thrust downward putting his weight to his weapon.
Abilities: Wind Slash: Juan uses his Spear to conjure waves of Air that can slice through rock with ease. Deals Wind damage. It costs 20% MP
Nueva Caída de Vida (New Life's Fall): Juan jumps high into the sky and thrusts the spear using all his weight downward at a single target. Costs 10% MP
Magic: Juan does not know any magic.
Juan was born in Arlon, in the Kingdom of Sapin, but moved when he was 6 months old to the Sapinish Colony of Nueva Constantina, one of the colonies that made up the Nueva Esapnan Empire.
His father, Albion, was one of the ministers of the Nueva Constantina, ruling from da Puerta Madera. As a soldier of the King's armies in Southern Osea. He led the cause against Emmerian, Erusean and Fatoan Raiders into the region, as well as fattempt to break the deadlock in the Adamas Islands, of which several of the islands were ruled by Emmeria, Erusea, Fato and Sapin (of which a majority are independent, but some are owned by Osea, Fato, Emmeria and Erusea today)
His duty and the place of where he was raised gave him the nickname " Southern Cross" named after the constellation Crux can be seen in the night sky.
His goal is to one day become viceroy of the Sapinish-held Osean colonies, and lead them into a bright and glorious future.

Define "weaken". Lowered strength? Speed? Stamina? Does it sap their HP?
How long is the blade?
Cost:Time ratio seems a little off to me. Reduce the time and/or up the cost of the original cast.
How big is the orb?
Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster. And if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.
