The Kingdom of Light was born when fellow warriors called Spirit Warriors from long ago came and brought the last remaining light in the land to the city. The gave the king the light and order the Warriors to put it in the highest tower of the building of the castle to light up the city.

It is now 3000 years later and the city is bright with light and beauty, but there is an ancient force stirring in the dark.Noticus,a city that formed in the darkest point in the world is rising to take down Dalmaska and the last light source with it.The Spirit Warriors the people that destoryed the Dark City are gone but the last remaining hope is the Children of the Light, a special group of kids that were born all on the same day of the solstice and alll have special abilities on the earth and other forces. Some are shape-shifters of any animal they chose.

Stefan Berius walked silently through Dalmaska's streets glaring at the people who past him.He was heading to the tavern where is client was waiting to give his assignment. The man was waiting outside the tavern and seen Stefan."So your him hehehe little young arent you lad."He said.Stefan glared at him."Just give me mission old man I not here to be given a lecture by the likes of you."He growled. The man sighed and gave him a piece of paper which he grabbed roughly."This is the guy your going after his name is Leonard Hery but his nickname is Wolfbane it heard he is making a rebellion against the King I want you to murder this guy and bring his sword to me."He said.Stefan looked at him."Where do you suppose I find him."He said."Downtown in the slums he 's pretty well known down there so ask around."The man said"And the best of luck to you my friend.'The man finished before Stefan nodded and walked off to the slums.

”Stop raining on me!” a voice shouted towards the sky as it echoed across the few rocks and hills that that surrounded him.
It had been raining heavy for several hours, and Alumar was lucky enough to having just gotten over halfway to the next city before the heavens opened its flow of water.
So, he could not go back as that would be longer, walking onwards was all choice he had.
He toyed with the idea of going back to Fort Rigel, and just go back here later, but since ‘here’ was too vague with no special landmarks or anything he could recognize, at least not in this raid, he did not like the idea of having to wander the same road the day after.
Though, completely unlucky he was not, his straw hat and leather cape worked as a raincoat, so he was not wet, just damp from the most air. His shoes had the same amount of mud on it as the boots contained leather.

Alumar had heard of Dalmaska, the city that contained the last ‘source of light’ whatever that was. And Alumar was not known for letting his curiosity go hungry. He intended to find out what the source of light was, and if it was a literally source of light, akin to a torch, he would most likely snap, and that would not be a pretty sight.

Several hours later, it finally stopped raining and the heavy gray clouds faded into a blue sky and a few white clouds took the place.
“It’s about time…” Alumar muttered to himself, not really too happy about the whole ordeal.
Looking in front of him, it seemed he would arrive at his destination in not too long.
As he thought of this, another rumor popped in his head. It was said that there were a few kids with unusual abilities, considering he heard the rumor from a mage, one accustomed to the arts of the arcane, it should be interesting to find out.
His annoyed self became a little happier with this thought, but he was far from overjoyed.

“HALT! Give me your money or die!” a voice stated behind him.
Alumar’s left eye twitched as he turned slowly around. There stood a man, a rough 20something years, having an unshaved look and short messy hair, he wore a common leather armor set and at his left hip an empty scabbard hung as the blade was pointed at Alumar’s face.
“I did not quite get you there. Are you mugging me? Is that a wise thing to do?” Alumar stated completely calm, though calm as it sounded he was far from happy about it.
The mugger let out a laugh as he took a step forward. “Yes, Im mugging you, what does it look like, Old man. Now, hand over your money or die” he stated, as he took a stance signaling that he was going to attack and apparently knew how to use the blade.
“Fuck off, brat” Alumar stated as he turned back and started to walk towards the city again.

“B…… BRAT!?” the mugger stated, apparently having taken it a little too personally. “That is it, you’re gone” he stated, as he took the step forward and attacked Alumar.
A flash of yellowish light later, the mugger looked into Alumar’s open palm. Confused to what happened he took a new stance and let his blade fall. Though, after missing completely he noted that his weapon was lighter than it should be, inspecting the blade explained the reason.
In his hands was nothing but a handle with a melted stump on the end where the blade should be, it was like melted away as the other half was on the ground to his left.
“Last chance” Alumar stated as the man had already let go of the handle and was a rough 20 meters away.

Looking to the sky, Alumar wondered if he had started gotten soft, shaking off the feeling he continued the road to the city.

The road was damp and muddy, much to Akyria's annoyance. She had ditched the slow and sweaty men of the company of mercenaries heading towards Dalmaska despite being their commander. The surrounding landscape was a much better companion for the girl than a bunch of cussing and barbaric sellswords. With Shouko (btw, changed the image of it) on her shoulder, Akyria marched on towards the city. From rumours and such, the city appraently housed some pretty cool legends about it, but it was just a side thought. Nothing mattered to her but the mission and her money. If that was guaranteed, then Akyria couldnt care less about anything else. By this time, Akyria had passed by the rising hills and was walking along the wide dirt paths of the plains. The ground was well packed and wide, most likely a rather busy road. That meant that all Akyria had to do was follow it to the city. By her calculations, her arrival will be well ahead of the rest of her company, allowing a quick respite from her job. With a smile plastered over her face, she picked up her pace on the lonely road.

Re couldn't help but sigh as he wondered, it was raining heavily at that moment but not a drop was landing on him due to him asking a powerful wind spirits to create a shield over his head. It had obeyed and was now floating around him in Re's view and they were having a friendly conversation with. The spirits name Re had found out was Behemoth and he could use greater wind and lightning elements, Re liked this as this spirit was of similar elements to him and was actually older than him which was a surprise and gave them a lot to talk about.

"That basically covers this area's recent history and what you need to know about it Mobilizer, if you need to know anything more simply ask", Behemoths wispy voice sounded, it was an interesting deep voice that sounded like the sound of thunder carried miles by the wind so it sounded a nice volume.

"That should be all I need to know", Re responded calmly as the rain around him started to stop and dye down. Re kept walking as he had been as despite the weather he always maintained a constant traveling speed allowing him to determine when he would arrive at a destination down to almost a fraction of a second if he wasn't stopped or impaired in anyway.

"Good, do you require anything else then?" Behemoth continued calmly, Behemoths spirit form was a white bear with long strips that looked like ribbons coming from his back that had electricity jumping along them.

"Hmm yes I am going to the city as you know and it would be good to have a powerful spirit in my service as I wouldn't want to be impared because of a lacking of powerful assistance", Re said calmly making Behemoth nod.

"I would be glad to enter your service my friend as I have not been to the city in years and it will be a pleasent change", Behemoth said back and Re nodded and contiuned. After a few minutes Re spotted a man on the side of the road who was holding what looked like a melted sword, he had a rough appearance and leather armor with the sheath on the sword for the former sword. Re stopped infront of him as he looked broken like he had no will left to contiune. But Re wasn't interested in this as the head required to melt a sword of that quality was alot and he wanted to fine out who. Rock formed around Re's right arm turning it into that of a golem of sorts before he picked up this man with his new arm and held him a good two metres up.

"Who did that to your sword, I am interested in meeting them", Re said in the same emotionless tone he always used. The man just went limp and appeared to be babbering nonsence. "Answer me", Re said calmly but shock the man quickly making him queak.

"I don't know, it was some traveller in a cloak and a foregin straw hat and other cloths, he stands out and is just ahead on the road. You missed him by minutes", the man said in a panic before Re dropped him as his arm returned to normal.

"Interesting", Re said calmly before flames erupted from his back forming wings. "I was wondering how long it would take for me to find something interesting", he said calmly before lunching high into the air and forwards alone the road with Behemoth right on his tail.

"Hmm this is new for me also, lets find out whats going on", Behemoth added as he flew in formation to Re.

Byron heard loud noises and went to check it out ignoring the weather. He wondered if there was things to be studied. He was already in a good mood. From a near-by tavern a dark skinned woman gave him a vast array of maps. Along with these were a couple books on monsters some he hadn't studied before. And being given the opportunity to research something he came to look for these monsters. He thought to himself Study, study, study yes yes yes STUDY WWOOOOOHHOOO though he kept silent. He first wandered onto a man from which the sounds had come from. He looked down and it was some creep and a mugger. He was high enough on the mountain-like wall to view yet not be seen.

He wasn't going to get in the way so he walked off and only saw the thief running. It made him snicker a bit but he cared not. He then stumbled onto a second person as he looked off the walls edge. Everyone was headed to the city lately. He watched and decided to follow. Something interesting might be happening... I can go to the city anyway. I was going to watch the beast fights when I come back but now isn't a bad time either... Plus two creeps and a thief... Very odd they must be tough even thieves aren't dumb. He would have ran towards the city if he wasn't terrified. What could be so scary. Maybe the weirdo in the hat had a face of a Lily Rhino His thoughts had made him laugh.

He had not wanted to be spotted by the person he was following. A man with a stone arm is rare. And if it was monster magic he had to know who caused it. To add to it the bad weather had stopped so quickly. May it was the guy from earlier but he current analysis showed that among the two the second was the confirmed mage.

Resting her gaze on the sky, a smile formed as the sky cleared up. The azure sky, was now visible, though spotted by the dark clouds that has yet to dissipate. The wind blew, bringing away with it the last of the chill. The sunlight then shone down it's warmth upon the city at full force. Her slender hands moved up to her face, brushing the wayward hair back behind her shoulders.

It was truly a pleasant day. The heavy downpour having brought coolness into the city that would otherwise be swelteringly hot. Although the sun has just took over, the earlier rain should have geared anyone against the impending heat.

As much as Zephiris would have wanted to stay on and enjoy the fine weather, she knew she had a mission. "Recently, there have been bandits hanging around the Dalmaskan Plains. Not just one, or two, but about 40." She began, her voice heavy with authority. Turning over to look at her squad of about 20, polite stares fixated itself on the female leader as she continued.

"We may just be about 20. But I guess we all know the results of this battle."

At this, a cheer rose. Looking back behind the squad, a sigh found it's way out of Zephiris. Once again, they were going to involve themselves in another battle. While it did her a favor, presenting the reason she was Squad Leader, killing was never something she enjoyed.

Still, her orders rang clearly in her head. "Slay the bandits. Make sure none escapes alive." A gruff voice went. Her expression softened. "Leader! Shall we move?" A fellow squad member asked. Nodding in reply, Zephiris turned back to the direction of the bandit camp.

Having took the pains to memorize the routes carefully, this journey was going to be swift. Zephiris' squad had always prided itself on the general speed and efficiency in accomplishing missions entrusted. This was going to be no exception.

"Alright. People." She said, her voice holding a light tinge of playfulness. "Let's get a move on!"

Despite the terrain, Akyria made good ground. As the landscape turned from plains into farmlands and scattered abodes, the road began to become more well made and there were signs of civilisation in the form of lone travellers and traders. As the city loomed ahead, Akyria whipped out a piece of paper, which contained her orders from the Guild of Mercenaries.

Dispatch Order: Akyria Morrowind

There has been a request from the city of Dalmaska for armed assistance against unknown attacks. There is little intel on the forces that may be present, therefore a company of Mercenary guild members will be dispatched to the city. Akyria Morrowind will be comissioned to lead this contract. As of the nature of the task, there will be hazard pay.

Guildmaster Taver
Guild of Mercenaries

Typical of the guildmaster, Akyria saw that Taver lived up to his name as a man of few words. The part with the unknown hostiles caused a raised eyebrow, but other than that, there was nothing wrong. With one hand, Akyria folded unevenly the document, shifted the giant sword on her shoulder before she spotted the movement of a large group ahead. Upon closer inspection, the group consisted of mostly armed men with a rather young, armoured lady in the front carrying a blade almost as tall as herself. Ha! How ridiculous! Such a large blade!.... she began to laugh before her eyes caught sight of her own blade, which was larger than the lady's. Well... i am just as ridiculous i guess... Guessing that these were the armed guards of Dalmaska, Akyria moved up to sign in with their leader. Excuyse me! Can you direct me to the leader of the Guards of the city? We are the requested help from the Guild of Mercenaries.... seeing the confused look on some of the mens face, she remembered she had gone on ahead of everyone else. Well, i am the leader in any case. My company is further back beyond the hill, making their way here.

After walking along the hard gravel road, the city was getting neared for each passing minute.
Though, as he was hungry and thirsty, according to how large the city entrance was from his range he had a rough hour or two left before he entered the gates.

Taking a few steps out of the road, he held his right palm facing the grass under his feet, still drenched from the rain though it was dryer here that where he was when the heavens opened.
Suddenly 2 pillars rose from the earth, one was a rough knee level and had a rough 50cm diameter, the other was waist high and had a rough meter in diameter. This was a variation of his Earth Pillar spell, he had effectively used it to create a table and seating for his lunch.
Sitting down he began to take out what he wanted from his Deep Pockets –which were basically a pocket dimension in his cape- placing them on his makeshift table.

Loafs of bread, a bottle of very old vine, some lukewarm meat that met a controlled fire spell ended up perfectly roasted. It was far from a 5 star meal, but it had a pleasant taste to it and it would be enough for him to eat.
Taking out a glass and plate, plus a knife and fork he began with pouring the glass with vine before he started eating his lunch on the side of the road using his makeshift table and chair.

Stefan came to the slums and put on his hood he looked over the picture he looked around and seen a abandoned building with the words Wolfsbane over the top."Found you."Stefan said himself and was about to walk in the building when one buff looking rogue came in front of him."Where do you think your going kid."The rogue said crossing his arms blocking the path in.Stefan stayed silent and glared at him."Their about to have a meeting so I suggest you leave or..."He said before he was interupted by Stefan's knife close to his neck and he whispered in his ear."I suggest you stay out of my way unless you want to be in the wall with your throat open."He whispered and pushed him out of the way and entered the building he seen no one there but some rogues drinking and hitting each other with bottles he pushed past them and went to sit down and seen his the guy.

He had his dirty blond hair pulled back in a low ponytail, he had scars all over his face and a rough look to him.Stefan smirked to himself but knew the only he could kill this one was get him alone.

Byron was getting bored of following the boy. He wasn't even sure if he had been heard. He leaped down from the wall and started to walk. Somebody coming out of no where... How will he react? I'll watch him and see if I can get a reaction out of him He thought to himself. He was sticking his nose where it didn't belong and he knew it. He was going to see what he could learn about him. Afterward he would leave if worst cam to worst he would flee quickly. He couldn't run but he was sneaky enough.

Re was flying at a low height due to his nature, a rogue thirty meters above the ground was enough for him to maintain a very fast flight speed and his full power at the same time. Re made excellent and additionally felt someone following him to some distance but dismayed this though as from what the spirits who had reported this to him had mentioned no real power or threat. Re kept flying and further along the spirits of Earth reported a disturbance followed by a couple of fire spirits detecting the same. Re felt these like vibrations through the air as the elements were used in an unnatural fashion. After a second or two Re had aligned himself towards the disturbance and landed nearby to it while remaining on the road. Re put his hands in his hoods pockets as his wings flared momentarily before fading to nothing.

"Here we are", Behemoth said as they both viewed a man who definitely looked foreign and was wearing the described straw hat and cloak. Re spotted the earthly table sticking out of the ground alone with the chairs and the man himself was eating and drinking wine. Re didn't stop or falter but walked up to the table and went to sit down in position across from the man while several earth spirits made a chair for him identical to the mans from the earth. Behemoth walked up to Re's side and sat down next to him watching the man carefully. "I don't trust him, he seems.... different", Behemoth said calmly while Re simply looked at the man.

"So you are the one who caught my interest. How did you do it then, the man earlier had a melted sword blade and I am interested in how you did it", Re said calmly as he used his right hand to adjust the Pillars of ceremonies on his back which had moved slightly off balance during his short flight.

Alumar had detected a presence some time ago, though as there was no murderous intent or anything of the like he ignored it for a passing person with gifted abilities.
Having eaten a rough half of what he assumed he would need before going on, his visitor decided to seat himself without asking Alumar at all.
The visitor looked like a kid, wearing an orange hooded jacket/vest thing. Carrying a huge draped item behind him that also had a magical feel to it, or perhaps not magical but some energy were there at least. He sat down in a makeshift chair of his own, it had a different feel to Alumar’s abilities, but it did the rough same effect.

“Interest?” Alumar asked as soon as the boy sat down in front of him.
Alumar simply shook his head slightly as the boy asked his question, or rather stated his wish. “Indeed he had-“ Alumar started, the ‘he’ meaning the bandit with the melted sword. “-if it were melted, you can assume what caused it, no?” Alumar asked in a ‘smartass’ remark, though it was not meant to be offensive, rather a test of sort. The kid seemed to have more to him than looks and an aura of energy, so instead of testing out his skills in combat, Alumar decided to take it calm and see how he fared in the usage of his mind. “And if you know what caused it, you should be able to estimate what happened” he ended, taking a sip of his glass before continuing to eat his food.

Re couldn't help but smile at the mans remark, it had been a while since he had to think anything threw properly. Re waved a hand causing a small flame to appear in his palm as he held it.

"Judging by the melt the cause would have been some source of intense heat to an extent of rapidly melting the blade to nothing, the issue is the blade appeared to have an unusual energy left on it making me think other wise. So my answer is that I would think it was melted by a sort of energy that makes heat in a way similar to fire but not being fire itself or another source that reacts with metal the same way as extreme heat", Re explained after thinking it over for a second or two. "The issue is I am interested in how you did it as the energy left is different to anything I have look at before and so I would like to find out how you did it", Re explained further in his still emotionless voice.

"You explained that quiet well", Behemoth said calmly. "But will it be up to the strangers standards will be the interesting question", he continued. "I think that question may have been some test or sort of gauge of sorts. You answered well but it could yet be a trick question, we will see", with this Re was already taking a shine to Behemoth, he was a wise spirit that thought things over well and pointed things out Re didn't always see. Re pulled out a cracker from out of his hood pocket and eat it calmly before continuing.

"I think my answer should be sufficient unless of chorus I have a gap in my knowledge failing my from coming to the correct assumption in this situation", Re finished smartly before looking at the man still calmly.

"Excuse me! Can you direct me to the leader of the Guards of the city? We are the requested help from the Guild of Mercenaries...."

Slowing to a halt, cautious scrutiny came upon the Mercenary.

"Well, i am the leader in any case. My company is further back beyond the hill, making their way here."

Folding her arms together, Zephiris had to admit her amusement about the large blade that was slung over her back. While she herself was the same, she couldn't hold back a smile that formed. Raising her hand, the squad stopped promptly.

Strict and disciplined, the squad stood at attention as they awaited further orders. There was no defying the Commander, after all. Although this was uncalled for, the Commander had made a special request to all Guards to keep up a professional image.

"You're a leader too?" Zephiris replied, chuckling. "Same here. I believe you must be the help the Commander was telling me about."

Her dark eyes rested on the stunningly beautiful mercenary. As much as Zephiris would gladly proclaim herself to be attractive, in front of the lady, she felt rather small. Furthermore, to be the leader of a Mercenary group. It spoked a lot about her fighting capability.

Throw in a blade that was actually bigger than hers. These facts collectively labelled her dangerous as foe.

Realizing the answer she had asked has yet to meet an answer, Zephiris continued. "Is there any problem? I believe your job was to aid us on our mission to eradicate the bandits. The Commander should allow your help on this mission."

Such civilised speech pattern was like music to Akyria's ears. Lately, all she could hear was sloppy half strung sentences that required at least a degree in animal talk to decipher. To be in company with a more civilised female was much more desireable than trekking back and regoup. Hm, i am sure my company would do fine without me. I will accomapny your men on your mission. And this, is for documentation. With an outstretched hand, the crumpled dispatch paper was presented to the armoured leader, as protocol dictates. Name's Akyria by the way. Akyria Morrowind at your service. Akyria introduced herself as she fell in line with the group, taking care to not bowl someone over with her sword.

Alumar smiled as the explanation were given, or rather an assumed explanation, he did not know how close he were.
“Well-“ Alumar stated between bites, he were not one to talk with his mouth full so he talked in-between instead. “-You are closer that you think. Consider this:-“ Alumar started as he put down the knife and fork.

“-Everyone have a single, or in rare cases two, elements they are naturally more aligned with. This is how you get hydromancers, and pyromancers. They might be able to use elements such as earth even though they are not geomancers, but they have a stronger result from abilities of the same elemental nature as themselves. This is off course a natural thing to consider. Now, consider that every person have to draw an inner energy source and convert it to said element. This is spell casting 101. However, I’m different. I have no basic element such as fire or water. My element lies in Energy itself. Knowing that, what do you assume?” Alumar stated, using various hand motions to help him explain. He did not patronize the boy; it was just something he did.
As he waited for a reply he continued eating his lunch.

OOC:I will be gone for two days I will be back as soon as possible.

Once Wolfsbane looked Stefan's way he knew he would have to kill him here in front of all these rogues who would possibly help him.Stefan got up and Wolfsbane followed and with one swish of his hand all the rogues stop what they were doing and stared at the two.

"Stefan Berius, Kane's friend am I correct."Wolfsbane said smirking at Stefan.

"You are."Stefan said and kept his hand on his sword that was well hidden under his cloak he looked at the rogues in case they charged him.

"They wont do anything unless I say."Wolfsbane said and he told the rogues in a completely different language to leave."Better."He chuckled and drew his blade.

"Very I dont like killing people who dont need it unless they get in my way."Stefan said.

Wolfsbane got ready to attack and Stefan unsleathed his sword."Why dont we just get this over with."He said smirking.

Re smiled and Behemoth nodded calmly, with the information Re could figure what happened to the weapon and how it was done.

"So you used a large amount of energy to either replicate heat and melt the blade using it or you used the energy to destabilize the blades basic structure and cause an effect similar to melting by breaking the atomic connection between atoms. That is how I think it would be done. A unique ability if I do say so myself and in that sense we have something in common", Re continued before waving his hand allowing Behemoth to become visible to a normal person. As you draw your energy from yourself though I draw my energy from the spirits of the elements and thus my abilities are untainted and pure in a sense as none of my foreignness is inside the magic or ability as all I do is simply command it. This is called Shamanism", Re finished explaining.

"For every element there are an almost endless amount of spirits, some have more than one element and some have almost a full spectrum of elements. Re shares a close connection with us as he is almost one of us and that what allows him to use his abilities", Behemoth finished calmly.

"Information is the only form of currency worth using in my mind, so for giving me information about your abilities I gave you some on mine. A fair trade I think", Re finished calmly before looking up at the sky. "Hmm I think it will start raining again shortly in say five minutes, the air and water spirits are restless and eager so that appears to be the case", Re added calmly making Behemoth nod.

"I will shield us from the rain again then", Behemoth added before curling up into a ball next to Re.

“You’re drifting further away from what I did, but you have the base idea of what I did.”
Alumar kept eating. ”I dont recall asking about your powers, fair trade or not” he stated as he took a sip of vine just after. “Im aware of how Shamanism works, though I cannot tap its powers, I know the theory behind it” he ended, as calm as he had been so far.

“So-“ Alumar started, interrupting anything if the boy was thinking of saying anything. “-what brings you to my table?” he asked as he did a wave of sorts signaling the table they sat by.
“If you were a mugger, you would have had a different feel about you, and you sure as hell would not have been asking and telling as you are now.”

Byron had been listening and hated being ignored. He thought to himself I am NOT being ignored! Well that idiot had an interesting creature with him. Maybe I can learn something though it looked man controlled. He thought. He set up a trap for later. This one should be fun.

He stepped to where they were and interrupted to both. He slammed his foot on the table and then looked at the boy with the spirit. "You two are rather boring... Nature outclasses you both in terms of excitement. I can assume you two aren't in any relationships?" He said. His manner of speak made him charming though he spoke venomous as such. "Don't worry though for some it can take billions of years to become a lover. But one must show talent.

"You with that petty ghost. It looks like a mere puppet to me... A worthless hologram. I have a question. Is it a being in and of itself or is it bound to you in some way? If it were a separate being I would classify it as a spirit or if it was once alive a ghost. But it appears to be closer to a pathetic shadow puppet those ninjas play with and not an actual elemental." He stated.
