Basically, Hotel 626 is a online hotel that can only be accessed between 6pm and 6am according to your computer.
Of course, you can always change your computer clock if you're too scared to play in the dark.

The best time to play this? With your headphones in, crouched over your computer in the dark with the volume at full blast.
If you have a webcam and microphone, those will be included in later levels - an example is when you have to sing a demon baby to sleep at just the right volume.
And if you don't. Well.



Also, to enhance the experience, you can give them your phone number to receive a phone call with instructions on how to escape.
But the Hotel never ensured its patrons' safety..

Chances are I am NOT playing this thing. Unless I have my friends all sitting around me. During school. When we're perfectly safe.

Me and my sister have already played this. (well, she practically did all of it, since I chickened out as early as the part with the camera and the crazy maid lady.. )

I just watched her the whole time. That was scary shiz right there.

I remember the part with the insane guy where you had to turn up the volume to hear the code. We really DID turn up the volume but we still weren't able to hear it so after failing the third time he...ate us. >_> At least, that's my theory.
