10 years after Lord Braska defeated Sin and brought the calm, yuna, his only daughter, chose the same path as her father. Taking the same pilgramige and battling Sin, as her father did. She will suffer good times and bad, matureing more and more as the days pass, eventually she shall battle sin, hopefully winning and returning the calm once again. Along her travels Lady Yuna shall make new friends and rivals. It will be the job of her guardians to protect her throughout her journey.

The day has finally come, the Day of Yuna's trip through the trials of the besaid temple and to the chamber of the faith to pray for the power to summon her first of many powerful creature known as Aeons, with the help of her trusted Friends and Guardians she will be able to pass the trials, but will she gain the power of the Aeons, is she worthy of it? the people of Spira can only wait, and hope.

It was early in the morning, when the sky was still dim, Yuna was walking on the beach by herself Unable to sleep any longer she had gone to the beach, hearing the grainy sand as it moved underfoot, its noise accompanying that of the swell and ebb of the tide hoping to wash away her unease at the trials to come later. As the tide hit the shore, the spray of water splashed on her skin, refreshing it was, She felt like as if she had drank a glass of cold water.

She looked back, the footprints she left showed her path; suddenly, a wave struck on the shore, washing away the marks she had left, and then flowing away again. Behind it, it had left some stones it had brought with, as an evidence showing what it had done. Looking outwards, Yuna saw nothing but the deep blue sea, it was as far as anyones eye could see, it looked almost as if it was stretching out its arms, wide open and ready to hold you in its powerful embrace.

The sun was like a naughty child, little by little, rising up from the edge of sky and the deep sea, smiling, showing his face to the whole world. His light illuminating all the shadowed areas that yuna could see. Yuna headed to the back from the beach towards the village, the time had come for her journey to begin and she decided to face it now, wit resolve rather than later with doubt.

When she reached the village she heard familiar voices. She waved to a few youngsters as she headed towards the steps to the temple where she waited for her guardians to assemble. One person in particular. He had arrived almost a year ago and he and her had become great friends straight away. Was she attracted to him? The answer was yes but she was too shy t osay anything let alone do something about it. She was too frightened of betrayal and rejection

She liked everything about him, From his Black hair and Deep brown eyes to his Sense of humour and Fashion. There was a quirky feel to his personality and although he appeared to be a cold and lonely person from afar, as soon as you got to know him you saw past that and found a loving and happy person. It was his bubbly personality that kept Yuna interested so much

Nice to know it's started.

Stretching, Sera rose from the bed. The rays of the sun shone into the room she was sleeping in, warming it up considerably. Ignoring that, she walks over to her armor and wore them hastily. Although it was somewhat early, she hoped to be the earliest.

Then, grabbing her sword, she left the room for the temple.

Besaid Island. She have not grown to like it much, still preferring her hometown Luca, but it wasn't that she minded. "Anyway.. Lady Yuna's here." She said, habitually voicing out her thoughts.

Realizing what she just did, she shook her head as she approached the steps to the temple. Already, Yuna was there. "Good morning, Lady Yuna." Sera said, bowing as she did so.

His eyelids slid appart, revealing deep Brown eyes. a hand rose and ran it's fingers through the dark hair, it was a sort of gray-ish blue colour. Sitting up, the quilt fell from the torso of Stephen, a young man, with quite the athletic build. he slid his legs out of the bed and stood up. he walked over to his Black attire and got into it. As Stephen spun around he saw his sword, the Caladbolg.

After Strideing over to it, Stephen pulled the tetra shield that hung on it and strapped it to his left forearm. ht then grabbed the handle of the sword and pulled it from the floor with some force. he swung the sword over his shoulder and sheathed it. Stephen then noticed a blue glimmering sphere on the floor, he looked at it with a smirk "an Al bhed Primer" he chuckled to himself "fycda uv desa, ev oui ycg sa" he continued fluently in al bhed.

as he walked towards the exit of the crusaders tent, it was where he had been staying for the past year, he noticed Luzzu and Gatta. "you better not talk al bhed around Wakka" Luzzu said "yea, he hates them" gatta continued causing Stephen to look at them "Considering i have quit the Auroch's, i don't give a crap what wakka likes" Stephen announced adding to the impression that he wasn't a nice person.

as stephen left the tent he saw Yuna and Sera, that brought a smile to his face, and then heard Gatta saying "man, he's an ass" Stephen chuckled at thi before jogging over to Yuna and Sera "Lady Yuna, Sera, i trust you both slept well" Stephen announced politely.

"Sera, Stephen" Yuna said greeting them in her usual way. She looked around at all the spectators to see how her Trials went that day "Shall we go or do we need more time?" She asked her guardians as she turned to look at the Temple. She breathed in to calm herself

"Shall we go or do we need more time?" Yuna asked.

Sera replied," I shall do as Lady Yuna wishes." Certainly, she didn't mind going immediately, she was somewhat curious on seeing how an Aeon looked like, and furthermore, since it would be one of the key factors in defeating Sin and bring about the Calm, Sera was more than willing to start on the trials.

But ultimately, her respect for Yuna overpowered those thoughts, leading to her reply. Still, she glanced over to Stephen, hoping for a more positive reply.

"Shall we go or do we need more time?" Yuna asked. Stephen smirked as Yuna said this "well Yuna, the Trials are a task for a summoner and her guardians and i know that there are two of us here, but don't you think we should really await the others, i mean come on you do have more than two guardians don't you" Stephen's rant ended abruptly and then he bowed his head "Lady Yuna it is your decision, i shall follow you to the end of the world, guarding your life all the way"

((OOC: i couldnt see anymore Guardians in the signups... well not that are here at the moment, they said they wished to be included later didnt they??))
She smiled at sera as she responded and then looked to stephen for hs reply, when t came she felt ashamed "Oh, Are the others not here yet?" She said slightly crestfallen that she had made such an error. "Well in that case i guess we wait" She said sitting on a nearby step and started drawing in the sand at her feet

[ooc: i think they did say they would join later on, oh well lets get going]

Stephen smiled at Yuna's reaction to his statement "Lady Yuna, i wa kidding we are your only guardians" Stephen announced "and we are the only ones you will need, right Sera" Stephen continued looking up at his fellow guardian. "So hall we get going into the trials, after all, we need to start the pilgramage" Stephen informed Yuna with a smile, as he extended his hand to help her to her feet.

"Lady Yuna, i was kidding. We are your only guardians.."

Hearing the reply from Stephen brought a smile to her face.

".. And we are the only ones you will need, right Sera?"

At this, Sera nodded softly in response. It was good to know that they were finally going to begin the trials, furthermore, it was, to Sera, a big step in moving towards the dream of crushing Sin.

As Stephen brought Yuna up to her feet, Sera watched on patiently.

Soaking up the sun's rays on Besaid beach Roland lay upon the golden sand as time went by, today was the day of Yuna's test to become a summoner. As the sun rose high above he knew it was nearing the time, gathering his bow from the ground he began to walk back to Besaid village.

The road was quiet, the fiends must have been asleep, or just not there making his journey back quite uneventful. As he entered Besaid he saw Yuna entering the temple, quickly running there he managed to get inside just before they began to head into the Cloister.

"Sorry i'm late! Well i'm here now, we ready to go, Yuna?" Catching his breath he waited, seeing if any other guardians would appear before they entered the Cloister of Trials.

as Stephen placed his right foot on the first step up to the cloister he heard a familiar voice. "Sorry i'm late! Well i'm here now, we ready to go, Yuna?" it was Roland he smiled as he spun around and took his foot off of the Step "ready to go?" he replied "We have been ready for ages, it's your latness that has caused us to grow tired and head towards the cloister" Stephen announced as he looked at Yuna and Sera.

"That makes three of us" he announced as he turned his gaze back to Roland "come on the Row jocky" stephen announced, smirking at his running nickname for the archer [it was short for arrow jocky] Stephen then turned and jogged up the stairs, two or three stairs at a time. as he reached the top one of the temples priests stepped in his way "No weapon's in the cloister, they are un-needed" he announced. Stephen unsheathed caladbolg and slammed the priest up against a wall with the sword to his neck, "I have never been one for the teachings, but, I am a guardian and so i need my sword, you claim there are no Fiends in this temple, i beg to differ" Stephen paused for a moment and then smiled "Wherever Yuna goes, cladborg goes, you got a problem with that, you can kiss my" "Allow him to pass" a priests voice came from the bottom of the stairs "Yes high priest" the priest announced before moving out of his way.

Stephen nodded at the priest and then, whilst sheathing caladborg, announced "thanks pops" the high priest didn't look impressed as he strode up the stairs and up to Stephen "You must follow the teachings in the temple young one. you may be a summoners guardian, but that wont allow you to do as you please in the temples" the high priest explained, Stephen nodded in acknowledgement "Gotcha" he replied before looking at Yuna "Lets get moving, if thats okay Lady Yuna"

Stephen's attempt at challenging the priest amused Sera somewhat, but Sera didn't want to make anything difficult for the priest anyway. Just as she thought that, the High Priest appeared and granted permission to move on.

Smiling softly to herself, she moved on, in between glancing over to Roland to ensure he was following.

Roland. Although he, to Sera, seems a little too laid back, she appreciated the fact he was very protective of Yuna. Then, remembering she has yet to greet him, she smiled," Good morning, Roland."

Ariana lit a fourth candle and laid it on the windowsill, wafting the faint scent of lavender out as she sat in her chair, deep in thought as always, not attempting to talk to anyone on the outside world.
Soon she would leave this place for Kilika, and Lady Yuna, the soon to be Lady Yuna, would be there too, her pilgrimage beginning.

OOC: I shall be taking over Yuna temporarily until a suitable replacement is found, allow me a few posts to get myself into character.

"Lets get moving, if thats okay Lady Yuna" Yuna replied in her usual soft tone, "Yes, let's go." before heading up the stairs into the cloister of trials. Her belief of becoming a summoner, to help people end their sorrows like her father did ten years ago, strengthing her resolve to do this.

As Yuna passed Stephen, and into the cloister, Stephen followed. he stood by Yuna, looking at the wall with the glowing glyph's, "Yuna, we should wait for the others" Stephen announced in a kind of worried tone "I am useless with puzzles" he muttered to her, his tone had become less serious, it was a joke.

"Are you sure Stephen?" Yuna said, "I am pretty good with puzzles, you know that." For a kind summoner, she was indeed confident. Yuna saw a glyph glow in multiple directions in a 360 degree circle. She touched the glyph on the wall and it glowed, causing several Yevon-syled lettering to transform into another glyph just like the one on the wall. She went to the new glyph and touched it, this glyph glowed, pointing upward as the wall opened up, revealing a secret passageway. She said to Stephen, "Do you still want to wait?"

Vesper peered across the village as he came to its entry, he had been traveling for a while and finally he had heard that a summoner by the name of Yuna was to start her journey here and for his own reasons and the reasons of bringing the calm he wanted to help. Vesper walked across the open area of the village ignoring the glances of the people as he walked, many of which eyes were drawn to his scythe on his back which blade shone brilliantly in the sun. Vesper came to the temple quickly with his large confident steps and approached the door calmly. As he did so a priest stepped in his path.

"I welcome you to the temple of Besaid traveller and I kindly ask that you remove your weapon upon entering the temple", the preist said an almost commanding tone.

"If you answer my question I will not need to enter, I am looking for Lady Yuna, can you tell me where she is?" Vesper responded in a firm voice which held much greater command than the preists.

"She just entered the Trails and only guardians and summoners can enter there", the preist responded before he knew what he was saying.

"Alright then look like I'm hanging around", Vesper said calmly grabbing the Scyther and holding it out to the preist for him to take, after some hesitation the man took it and Vesper relased his hold causing the weapon to drop to the ground suddenly. "Watch that its heavyer than it looks", Vesper said as he walked calmly into the Temple and chose a section of wall near the entrance to lean aganist while the preist struggled to lift the weapon and simply left it leaning on the wall next to Vesper.

Adelaida's eyes rolled, her mother's mouth moving rapidly, words she had spoken over a hundred times once again falling onto the monk's deaf ears. Ade knew her little speech off by heart now and could tell with each rise in her all too familiar crescendo, when she was reaching her peak. Rather than allowing her mother to continue her rant, however, the young woman pushed away from the wall she was leaning against and stalked off, leaving her mother to splutter at the disobedience of her only child.

Adelaida had enough. Her mother would not stop her from journeying away from home, not anymore.

Sajin was a grown woman now... with a child's dream. It was a pathetic thing to dream about perhaps, but it was something she had desired since being that child. Adelaida sighed and stalked across the bridge that lead out of Bevelle and into her favorite training grounds, Macalania Forest.

The girl took off at a sprint, startling a few travellers along the way at the close shave she gave them as she charged past. Coming to a gentle halt at the entrance to the Thunder Plans, Ade took a deep breath. Next stop. Guadosalam!

((just to show she's on the move :ness: ))

Vesper watched silently as a few more people entered the temple and started to do the normal praying that Vesper had observed at every temple he's visited. Vesper watched them calmly wondering why and what they prayed for as that was one of the things he forgot when he was younger. All the memories of his childhood were gone. Vesper watched at the people went through the routine calmly and after a while Vesper started to feel dizzy. This was when it happened, it felt like his mind burst and he was looking back into the past.

The image in his mind was blurry like something was blocking his view, but he knew that he was seeing the inside of a temple similar to this one, he was praying with other people but he couldn't make out any of there faces. Suddenly Vesper felt his mind retreat back and he was back to normal with a female priest standing before him.

"Are you alright sir?" she asked with a concerned tone.

"Yes.... yes I'm fine, I just had a headache", Vesper lied making the priest nod and smile before walking away leaving Vesper to think over the memory he had just seen. At most of the temples he had been to he had a similar visions making him think he had traveled as a child but after a while Vesper let his mind return and his calm thoughts came back.
