10 years after Lord Braska defeated Sin and brought the calm, yuna, his only daughter, chose the same path as her father. Taking the same pilgramige and battling Sin, as her father did. She will suffer good times and bad, matureing more and more as the days pass, eventually she shall battle sin, hopefully winning and returning the calm once again. Along her travels Lady Yuna shall make new friends and rivals. It will be the job of her guardians to protect her throughout her journey.

this is where your story shall begin, you will be one of Yuna's guardians, and the only character who will be from the main party shall be Yuna, who will need to be cannoned by a member (post a bio and i will accept or decline) non of Yuna's guardian's from the game shall be in it, well they will be, but they wont guard her, Wakka and Lulu have had their child (i know, it's years to soon but oh well) wakka focuses on his Blitzball, Lulu a full time mother. rikku shall be in the albhed faction. and Kihimari never left the ronso. Auron never came to current day Spira and neither did Tidus.

this Rp will follow the storyline of FFX, but with us as the guardians.

Overdrive: Final Cut-charges at the enemy and jumps into the air, slashing verticall down (similar to Cloud's braver) deals double damage.

History: Born 1000 years ago in the great City of Zanarkand, Stephen's father was killed at sea when he was younger, his mother lost interest in everything after she found this out and became very distant with everything that reminded her of Him, Stephen included.

at the age of 17 Sin appeared in the ancient city and began attacking, decimating the City, Stephen wasn't there to witness this as he was thrust 1000 years into the future where he washed up on Besaid beach and was found by the team captain of the Besaid Auroch's, Wakka.

Stephen began living in Besaid, befriending many, and joingin the Auroch's. now a year on, Stephen has chosen to quit the Auroch's after this years world tournament to become one of Lady Yuna's guardian's full time.

History: Description: The only child and Daughter of the Great High Summoner, Lord Braska. Lord Braska and his guardians mysteriously dissapeared tem years ago at the beginning of the last calm. She has brown up in Besaid for the past 10 years After becoming a full fledged summoner at Besaid Island, she plans to embark on a pilgrimage with her guardians to obtain the Final Aeon. The final aeon is needed to defeat Sin in Zanarkand. Yuna is the only one able to summon powerful spirits called Aeons.

+ Personality: Adelaida is a relatively dark horse, preferring not to let much about herself known. Though trusting, she finds it incredibly hard to let others close and with keep up a frosty exterior as a defense mechanism. A loyal woman, once Ade allows someone past her wall, she pledges her life to protect them. With few close friends, she might be what some would call a loner, but due to her loyal nature, it is simply easier for her to remain true to those special few. She is a witty, somewhat caustic tongued woman who will not hestitate to voice her opinion. Sarcastic and cutting at times, Adelaida can be intimidating.

Adelaida unleashes a flurry of furious strikes upon her target, the final of which is a spinning backflip, aimed to kick the target into the air before leaping up after them and slamming them back down. Deals double damage in total.

+ History: Adelaida was born in Bevelle to a relatively well known family. However, the older she got, the more time she began to spend in the Woods of Macalania and it was there that she began training herself. She had heard the stories of Summoners; magnificent people who braved such hardships to bring the Calm to Spira. How wonder if would be if Ade could become a Guardian to a Summoner!

But it was a child's dream. It wasn't as simple as it had seemed. Living in Bevelle, Adelaida saw her fair share of Summoners pass through on the way to the temple, but none of them wanted a child to protect them. Who could blame them? She was weak! Her training intensified then. Ade became gradually more and more withdrawn, fighting the fiends deep in Macalania Forest, determined to prove her inner strength.

It was because of her self inflicted isolation that Sajin become defensive over those she chose to protect. At twenty three, she now knows she is strong enough to protect a Summoner.

Gender: Female

Personality: She comes off as cold and uncaring, and dislikes displays of emotion; they embarass her. She has a warm interior, but it takes a lot to crack the surface and reveal the real her. She is a cool and in command person, and never loses her temper if she can help it.
Despite this temperment, she is fiercely devoted to the teachings of Yevon, and follows them avidly, even though her faith has been challenged many times in her past. She likes to distance herself from reality and other people, loving solitude above all things. Yet, recently she has wanted to learn to have friendship again.

Appearance: Tall enough at 5,8, with upper back length, long, curly red hair. Rather powerful blue eyes, and pale skin on an angular, yet beautiful face, and rose red lips that never reveals more than what is needed.
Loves wearing black, and does so from top to bottom; a long black dress, a black pearl necklace.

First impression: Cold, uncaring and very stoic

History: Trained in Bevelle to be a black mage, but when she was sixteen, her sister, who she had trained with, died in an accident when she attempted to cast a Firaga. Ariana blamed herself, and went into mental seclusion, before moving to Besaid a year before FFX starts. She intends to travel to Kilika.

(Can she be a bit of a mystery, and join on the SS Liki after fighting Sin?)

there are a few things i need to be changed before acception.
1. The image for the Appearence, isn't working.
2. the weapon abilities are to strong for the start of the RP
3. Same as 2, but with the armour abilities.

These must be changed, Until then DECLINED

Name: Sera Leslie

Age: 20

Gender: Female

Personality: Soft-spoken. She exudes an aura of the classic rich young mistress of some rich family. However, that's not the case. and despite that, she is very humble, usually speaking in the most polite manner possible. Slow to anger, she sometimes appear more unfeeling to others than what it really is, just her understanding the reason for their actions, or reactions at that time. She rarely shows any rage, even in battle, and only loses it when she faces Sin. (Will not be so bad as the story progresses)

Height: 157 cm (Sorry, my region doesn't use inches, foot and whatsoever to measure height, so I'm not sure about the conversion...)

First Impression: "Wow! That's a cute one!" That have been very commonly heard around Sera. Most people that encounter her let down their guard, and more so when they speak to her. (For first impressions, at least.)

Wielding hand: Right hander. Can manage a little of the left, but is really bad.

Fighting Style: Warrior, melee, with some amount of Black Magic at her disposal

Weapon Style: Longsword, Katana

Weapon Name: Rune Blade (Sera just addresses it as 'Rune')

Weapon Appearance: Refer to the blade the girl holds in the picture attached to 'Appearance'

Weapon Abilities: 3 available slots (With one taken by Lightning Strike)

Armour Style: (Observed from the picture attached to Appearance.) Thick leather armour that covers Sera from top to toe, with the exception of the head area.

Overdrive Fill Mode: Warrior

Overdrive: Impetus
Sera charges her blade up with magical spells and rushes in for the kill, striking the enemy at it's weakest spot, scoring a definite Critical Hit. (Hits once, but suffers the possibility of enchanting the weapon with an element that may heal the enemy or do reduced damage)

History: Born into an ordinary family in Luca, Sera was originally normal, happily, and set to live life out without having to go into contact with the more combat based skills. However, everything changed when Sin decided to claim her parent's lives when they were traveling.

At that time, Sera was 9, and she remembered the experiences and emotions so clearly that she couldn't forget it at all. Thus, she swore vengeance on Sin. Then, at the age of 10, she heard news of Yuna's father, Lord Braska defeating Sin. This was a turning point in her life as she became determined to join the next Summoner when she could.

Thus began her training, one that will last 10 years. Throughout this decade, she ceaselessly sought to improve her skills by various means, performing mercenary missions, recklessly running into monster dens to go on a killing spree, so much so she earned herself the nickname 'Angel of Death' when she emerged from a den bathed in blood.

Nonetheless, it was within this 10 years she encountered a skilled Black Mage (Whose name she did not know) and learned Black Magic.

10 Years later, at the age of 20, she joins Lady Yuna as her guardian, determined to aid her in every way possible, so that Sin shall be defeated, this time, by her own efforts so she could claim vengeance for her parents..

Foe preference: Flans (And any other elementally inclined enemies)

impressive Bio, i only have one problem with it, we are sticking to the weapon's ability style of FFX so being able to enchant and unenchant weapons at will is a no go. Sorry, but you will have to have ability slots on your weapon to give it Firetouch/firestrike and the such. the rest of it is good.

Personality: Very relaxed and energetic, he remains laid back and happy-go-lucky up until battle. Protecting his friends is one thing he takes very seriously, he can be uncontrollable when forced into something.

History: Born and bred in Besaid, Roland has always been accustomed to Sin's attacks, the island's fresh waters as well as their unmatched skill with silk. A typical 'island boy' he spent his days adventuring, hunting and providing materials for the village of Besaid, doing his part for the people there.


Over the years he slowly got brought into the Yevon Priesthood, starting out as a monk at the age of 14, he quickly learned of the many teachings while continuing his goodwill of supplying to Besaid. This made him very popular, very quickly within the priesthood. Though whenever offered transportation to a temple more suited to his abilities he continually refused, for Besaid was his one and only home.

It was around this time that he began to take notice of Yuna, whom the other monks told him could have the potential to become a Summoner, just like Lord Braska. Hearing this a strange feeling overwhelmed him, maybe this could be the next step for him... In defending Besaid? If he became powerful enough while travelling with Yuna, maybe he could help her in defeating Sin? If only for a little hile, at least he could give Besaid supreme happiness, no higher honour could be asked of.

From that day he begn to up his training, hunting down stronger enemies in hopes of bettering himself, taking up Blitzball too as he tried to make himself strong enough to be able to become worthy to become Yuna's guardian. Even if not Besaid by birth, she was as much a Besaidian as he was, like family and he was prepared to defend her no matter what the cost.

As the years went on he felt himself able to handle anything, as he was ready to become Yuna's guardian and request this himself, doing so after slight thought Yuna welcomed him as a guardian. From that day forth Roland continued to watch Yuna, always having his bow ready whenever she would be brought to harm, to the point where she would not even be allowed to fall, treating her as delicately as a flower.

I've edited my Bio on page 1. Could you take a look at it and see if it's suitable now? (Removed the ability to enchant, and made it into ordinary black magic that Sera could cast, and have replaced the sword with slots, filled up with one Lightning Strike from the beginning.)
 
So, when are we starting? After a few more members join?

Also, I assume there are openings for bad guys like Seymour, the Maesters and such?
 
Yes, i will be opening up applications for Seymour Guado later in the RP, namely when we reach Luca and he shows his ugly guado face for the first time. and as for the opening of the RP, i will be doing it sometime today.

we will be starting the RP on the day that Yuna enter's besaid temple.
 
Alright, so then we have a 'day' to interact before the whole worry starts up?

And what about the roles of Oaka, Wantz, Mika, Rin etc? Will they be open too, since they play strong roles in the game? And if so, will they be called by their names or be played Like Yuna's guardians?

And as for Yuna's guardians, will it be like the game with 1 Guardian with a specialty (aside from Kimahri who is more of a multitasker) like I handle Flyers, Sera handle elementals (like Wakka and Lulu respectively) and shall scenes be played by the same characters? (Like Sera and whoever plays as a blue mage being outside the chamber of the Fayth while I and Stephen conquer the trial to meet them as Yuna comes out?)

And also, in light of the strengths/weaknesses tab, am I to assume the battle are stat based? Or will hp/mp be 'stamina' instead (both physical and mental respectively) and also, are battles going to be RP based or stat based?

Weapon slots for skills, will we be gaining stronger weapons/armour at later points? And what about overdrive modes? Will we have different ones available as we use certain tactics? (like if I keep using status attacks, I gain tactician?) Same for overdrives, do we gain stronger ones at a later date, and if so what form of condition must we meet to do so?
 
well, I'm going to answer all of your questions so here goes.

Oaka, rin and others like them will be in the storyline, BUT they will be controlled by a user i specify, (i will PM the person asking them to control the character for the meeting)

Yuna's guardians are class specific, but other characters can attack the fiends to little effect i.e. If Stephen was to attack a flan, the flan would shake it off as though the attack did nothing.

The scenes will be similar, but with some minor differences (the scene you specified, all the characters will travel through the trials with Yuna as my char has been in Spira a year whereas tidus had only just arrived)

Battles will be RP based, and HP and Mp will be based on the stamina of the character (basically you say how much it hurt, i.e. if you are hit by a thundaga spell then it's going to hurt like a biatch unless your armour has thunder eater)

the overdrive fill modes are up to the user, they may specify that they learn new fill modes, and weather they choose to use them or not, just don't change them regularly. and as for overdrives, try and be realistic when learning a new one, for instance, your second overdrive wont be something like Cloud's Omnislash or Tidus' Blitz ace, keep them realistic to the part in the game we are at.
 
Ya, I thought that would be the case, I just wondered if there were a set number of guardians to handle specific roles. (a flan slayer, scale slayer, wolf slayer etc)

And I thought so about the rest of them, and I assume we have to use an effect numerous times to get another overdrive mode? Rather than throw a potion to someone once, and then change to healer?

And aye, I plan to work my overdrives that way, and how will we know when we can use an overdrive?
 
there is not set number of specialty, if somebody wants to be a wolf slayer, i wont stop him/her, but it would be better if we had one of each specialist, just in case we do run into trouble.

Obviously you wont be able to change to healer after 1 potion but for Yuna, because she is a white mage and using lots of white magic then she will gain healer faster than most others.

and as for overdrives, it's up to you, just don't whore your overdrive.
 
Alright, and naturally it depends on the overdrive mode, so if i'm struck I won't be any closer since i'm set to warrior. ;) and boss fights will strengthen the overdrve moreso (at least when stoic/comrade) since they'll be far stronger.
