Final Fantasy VII: The Darkest Dawn!

The story will take place 30 years before the original FF VII. Around that time the Shinra top researcher, Professor Gast who is well known for the mysterious experiments, discovered Jenova, a destructive alien who was buried in the Northern Crater. Professor Gast, by a mistake, believed that Jenova is a Cetra, a member of a mystical ancient race that inhabited the Planet before present day humanity. Dr. Hollander, infamous Hojo and another Shinra scientist, called Lucrecia Crescent, were assigned to work on the Jenova Project under Professor Gast. Their ultimate goal of the project was to "create humans with the powers of the Ancients." It was believed that this goal may be realized by testing the effects of Jenova cells on an unborn child, which later lead to catastrophic events.

Around this same time, Lucrecia was romantically involved with Vincent Valentine, the main protagonist of our story, who was a Turk that time.

That is the time where ours and Vincent's story will start. From the day one, this roleplay will be a Closed Rp( Closed roleplay is a roleplay which has a set plot and the amount of freedom depends on the Rp author) but at some time, it will turn in to Open Rp over and over again. In the end of the known plot, it will be continued as a Open Rp.
The story will rush trough the known events of Vincent Valentine history and the background events. This will give you a lot of freedom in terms of a Closed Rp. Eventually we will run in to points where we find out that we don't know more about Vincent Valentine. Those are the points where the true and best parts of this roleplay will start. But before it we will run in to amazing events, dramatic story and the fantastic battles of Vincent Valentine and of course, everyone else that join :)

The Roleplay is planned as a three chapter Rp.
This one will be first - from early Vincent life to the moment he will put sleep.

About characters and joining:
Everyone who are able to make a decent bio are welcome but I have to remember you that during the times when this roleplay is a closed one, following the main plot is necessary. As a background character, you of course have a lot more freedom. Some time hops will be made as well, so don't be too surprised when suddenly 6 months pass.( Tho I will warn everyone about these things). There is a possibility to choose between these charaters:

Vincent - (Chosen by Vincent)
Hojo - ( I think Darkrul got it)
Lucrecia - ( Chosen by me)
4 turks - (before rude reno and tseng - probably the easier characters to play with while you may enjoy fantastic story/ Mindy,Seph,Omega, antenora... so full)
Prof gast - ( Chosen by me)
Director of shinra -
Various researchers -

You are allowed to create your own character but only as an addition to your main character which has to be chosen from the list. That will insure that the story and all the events will be told equally good and also that let's the background events to occur more often. Hope you choose the best one for yourself.

Rules:
No godmodding - This is the most important in this roleplay. Try to avoid it. Some little character controls are fine but killing Hojo or something would lead to much trouble.
No powerplaying - Especially with the chosen characters. For ex. Lucrecia can't blow the world up even when I want her to do it.
Be friendly - With it you will insure that we all will enjoy this Rp.

Name: Vincent Valentine

Age: 26

Appearance Before Experimentation:

Eye color: brown
Hair: black kept short
Clothing: Turk uniform… a grey blue suit.
Height: Six feet tall

Appearance After experimentation:

His once brown eyes are now a fiery crimson. Cloaked in blood red garb, Vincent now has a golden claw covering his right arm. His hair has grown long from months of unconsciousness. He also wears a tall collar of which covers his mouth. He also wears pointed metal boots.

Weapon Before : Cerberus a TRI-Barrel hand gun capable of firing three rounds simultaneously.


Abilitys Before Experimentation:

Sharp Shot: Being a Turk has its advantages, All Turks are trained to be expert marksmen. Though only a few embrace the gun, many choosing over weaponry. Vincent however has become a master gunman, and is a quick and accurate shot.

Inside Info: Turks have the Sneakiest ways of just happening to know important information. And tend to show up just in the niche of time. Often stealing limelight and taking credit.

Abilitys After Experimentation:

Extreme agility: Thanks to the freakish experiments done on him Vincent has now near god like speed and agility. Allowing him to move about the battlefield with great celerity.

Transformation: Happens at time of heightened emotions, Various ability’s are given to Vincent when he transforms but the transformation leaves him faint and weak afterward.



History: Raised inside Shinra, became a Turk at a young age, and is often out on many secret missions of which haven’t been disclosed at this time.
 
Are the four Turks just new characters, because if so i would like to be one of the four

Name: Stephen Hownam

Age: 18

Appearance:Looks like this
only has one tattoo on his back which looks like this

Personality: A regular teenager Stephen is often blunt in his usage of language and tends not to get along with other guys. He is often seen as vein or self-loving as his hair is slender uneven or un-styled. an aggressive fighter, will always fight to try and defend what is closest to him and what he feels he needs. With a short fuse, he often looses his temper for pathetic reasons and is unafraid to show how he is really feeling. he will tell peple directly what he thinks of them even if it isn't very nice. once given a task Stephen will not stop trying until the job is done or he is dead.

Weapons:
equiped with a long sword that is fairly large. the sword has two forms, the first is when it is being carried, the sword looks like a normal bladed sword, but when going into battle the sword opens up to look almost like two blades connected together. Looks like this. . .

Ability:

Throw: Stephen has the ability to be able to throw his sword and other things he picks up with the greatest of accuracy

History: Born in Midgar as a young boy Stephen witnessed the Turks on a mission and from then on he wanted to be a turk, he learnt how to use a sword and stayed in perfect fitness in the hope tht he would be able to become a turk.

At 16 Stephen became one of the youngest turks in the history of the Shinra company and he worked along side Vincent for a short period of time, although the two didn't really share much, they never became friends and stayed as asociates.
 
Yeh they are new characters :) And accepted. It could have been a little bit more detailed here and there but overall it's fine ;) Accepted!

Yeah it is :) Actually the idea was V.V-s and he asked me to be a master of it as he is kinda new to roleplaying and don't know exactly how the sign up stuff works :D So I thought why not.

Name: Seager Regent

Age: 21

Personality: Seager is a hot blooded but kind person. He wont shy away from a fight and wont give up till he is either wounded to badly to continue or he has defeated his oppenent.

Weapons: He carries the sword in the picture except it is held across his back instead of his waist and he also carries the standard handgun issued to the Turks after completing their training. Though he favors his handgun which he has customized and infused with fire and counter materia, he will use his sword if he feels that the foe he is facing is strong.

Ability:
Sharp Shot:
All Turks are trained as expert marksmen among other things, and Seager is no exception to this ability. Seager has become quite a formidable opponent on the battle field when he reveals Helena (He named his handgun by the way. Hope its ok.)

Inside Info:
Turks have their sources all over the place allowing them to easily track down their targets. Seager isn't an exception, for he often mingles with the locals of midgar, and often does them small favors in the way of giving certain people the heads up when Shinra troops are on a raid.

Materia Based Abilities:
Fire: This ability is from one of two materia given to Seager when he completed his training.
Cure: This ability is from the second of the two materia Seager was given when he completed his training to become a Turk.
History: Seager was born into Shinra for his mother was also a Turk and Seager was always brought up to follow the family business. Seager began training at the age of 15 and exceeded everyone's expectations and proceeded to complete his training within the year he started his training. He now frequently runs missions with his family though he doesn't always see eye to eye with their ways of doing things.
