Well personnaly I have not even got Holy for Yuna yet but my friend said that he has holy for Rikku but Rikku sucks at magic. Anyways I level up at Zanarkand I just want to know how long does it take because I really need to own Yunalesca's ass with it.

Well Holy is waaaaaaaaay at the top of the sphere grid, if I were you I would find out where it is and plan your path to it before you start wasting Sphere Levels.

It took me ages,to be honest. It's way down at the very bottom of the board , though maybe I'm wrong if Master Vivi is right, and it is around fifty grid spaces away from Curaga. Also, even when you get it, you should steal some ethers from the Behemoths, so you can use it more often. Personally, though, I had all my aeons' Overdrives charged and Yuna ready with Grand Summon for Bahamut. If you got through the Spectral Keeper, you'll be strong enough.

Actually, it depends on which grid you are using. Which grid are you using Standard or Expert?
It's the expert one I'm referring to.
I've never used the Standard one so sorry I can't help you if you are.

Normal and Expert Grid I know Normal but what is the Expert grid? My Yuna is where watera and fira and etc are located so I guess am very far right.

Oh, that explains our differences in the location. I'm not using the expert one, I'm using the normal one.I couldn't find it with expert.
And I'd say you're really far. Too far away. If you have any teleportation or return spheres, use them. If not, you'll be there a long time.

Whoa, you're all the way where Lulu is. =/.

After you acquire Curaga it should be not too far off from that. All the way down to the far left. When I had gotten to Zanarkand I was almost there. So I just kept leveling. It comes in great handy with Yunalesca.

Actually, the Yunalesca battle doesn't need Holy. It is pretty easy without it. Just get everyone's (plus Aeons) Overdrive Gauge full and you should be ok.

As for Holy's location, if you're on the Expert Grid, I think you need a Lvl 2 and Lvl 4 Key Sphere to reach it. It is located at the top of the grid, above Full Life.
For Standard, Holy is located near Rikku's starting spot (with Steal and Use) I think.

You say you are near Fira and Watera etc. How did you get there? In the expert grid, you literally need about 200 sphere levels to get all the way to the top. Maybe I'm wrong but...

On my latest play through I got it just after Zanarkand. Just intime for me to power up the Nirvana, so 1mp cost everytime I use it. :)

Here it is on the map:

Look at the bottom left. It's underneath "Spare Change"

So if you're near Watera, you'll need to head directly left accross to get there.

I'd say see where Holy is located on the grid and plan your path like it had been said. And just battle like crazy. I train inside Sin, so it doesn't take long. But personally, the only three I used for the game and upgraded all the ultimate weapons for was Tidus, Auron and Lulu. (Lulu's is a pain to get though.. dodge 200 lightning bolts..) But yea, all three are maxed out and the final boss is just a one hit kill for me. But it took a long time and patients before I got inside Sin.

Yuna's "Nirvana" is pretty easy to get. If you get hold of that, you get triple AP, meaning easier time levelling to get moving around the grid.

Guys it is ok I beat Yunalesca yesterday and I was really happy I did but I will still follow holy though. Oh yeah another thing is sin is so easy his 2 fins. Is his head any harder?

I was past yunalesca when i gotten holy sadly, it took me a long time to get it but then i was rushing trying to hurry and beat the game so it depends on how much patience you got to lvl grind to get holy

You fight two fins, then something else on him, then get back in the airship, then you go fight his head.

None of them are that hard really.

Alright none of them are hard not even the head? So I could beat the game today alright I am gonna go for it wish me luck lol.

my Yuna normally knows Holy by either Seymour (third fight) or Yunalesca, it isn't that difficult to get through on the standard Sphere Grid, you only have to make sure Yuna is in your party most of the time and she will learn it in her own time. i always have Yuna in my party and for many of the Bosses i use the Aeons and hammer them with ease so she gains loads of levels.

Yeah but is holy very useful and I should be learning it with Yuna soon. Either way I already beat yunalesca. She was hard but somehow I managed to beat her.

I didn't manage to make it to Holy before Yunalesca. It was only before the final battle I decided to train desperately to complete as much of the Sphere Grid as possible that i finally reached Holy.

I'm inside Sin on my latest game right now, got Yuna's "Nirvana" and whenever I use Holy on any of the fiends there she's doing anything between 10,000 - 35,000 damage with it depending on the fiend.

So yeah, pretty useful lol.

If you've not got the Nirvana or any other weapon with Break Damage Limit, then you'll probably be doing 9999 with it every time.

This thread could really be in either section, but since you're mainly looking for advice/help, I'm gonna move this over to the Help Booth for ya.
