Smilie Request Thread

This is the thread where you can request smilies for use on FFF.

I request this one.

We had a thread like this before and it didn't go down too well in the end. Too many requests, too many random images to add to the system. In other words, we have enough smilies as it is, and we are not currently taking any requests. Sorry about this.

We have taken your consideration into review and here are the results:

After further review, we have decided to allow custom smileys. Before getting to hasty, there are rules we will add to this.

1) We will be adding it to the vbshop to promote further user activity (points tba)

2) It will be a one time use only, but there is a follow up to this.

3) Due to it being a one time only, we can change it as many times, unless of course you request it changed every week. The channel is, you will need to PM the Admin on duty. If we notice the system is being abused (requesting the change to often), we will put time constraints such as the ones we have for usernames.

4) Along with 2 and 3, the smiley will be your username. Reason being is, we have way too many smileys, and before all this the smiley management was a bit out of control.

So if you choose the username . We can edit the image, but the code will always be , as to prevent code breakage we will not change the smiley code to :bez: / :bjork / , nor add a new one. We will always change .

5) Lastly we have to approve of the image. If the image is too big in width/height or if the it falls outside of the site rules: Deemed inappropriate whether it's sexist/discriminatory/pornographic.. etc. , then we have the ability to say no.

In the future we will be reviewing and removing/updating a few smileys and of course coordinating it with the technical admins and the site owner as to not break existing code.
