Would u watch final fantasy x as a movie

You can watch youtube videos of it from start to finish..so there's no need for a movie
 
Considering I didn't care for the game all that much, I doubt I'd want to watch it as a film. The voice acting was beyond awful and I didn't like the majority of the characters. Without the interactivity factor, there wouldn't be much there, imo.
 
I really like Final Fantasy X as a game however, i'm not so sure if i'd want to see it turned into a movie. I remember watching The Spirits Within and my gawd, it was awful. /faceplam just thinking about it :ffs: I'd hate to see a good video game turn into a horrible movie. I wouldn't be sure.
 
I don't know if I would watch it as a movie. I enjoyed the game enough, but I think I might hate it if I saw the movie, and it turned out to be crap.
 
I'd watch it, if only so that I could bash it into oblivion afterwards. I don't think you can really turn something like FFX into a two hour or so movie. You'd have to miss out a lot, and it'd probably feel quite cheap as a result...like the Harry Potter movies.
 
I wouldn't even want it as a movie. Try and squeeze a whole game into one movie, it's going to be one long sit-in for the viewers unless you cut it in half or just cut out a lot of stuff. As much as I liked FFX's story, once you've already experienced it (and the PS2 graphics with the CGI were on par enough anyway), there's little point in doing so again in film level. Much of the fun with the Final Fantasy games come from the gameplay. Strip that away and make any FF game movie, and well, what's left? You've seen it before. I'd rather go watch another movie.
 
No as a movie it wouldnt be great. I prefer the game to be honest. Final Fantasy X had an amazing story and I bet they would just screw that up on film. The gameplay would just get turned into some weird action scenes which would look not so great. Like above it is better to just have gameplay instead. Watching Blitzball would just be weird to me :hmmm:
 
I already watched all the youtube videos! I like the abridged version hough because from the looks of things some parts of the game would probably bore me to tears to just watch with actual text from the game. I like the concept but X isn't so bad in movie form. Just if some parts were condensed...:hmmm: I'd watch it probably...
 
I highly doubt they'll make it or do anything else with Final Fantasy X........But I'd definately watch the movie if they made one......I wouldn't really expect it to be that good......after all I don't think SE have done good on the movie stage I think only Final Fantasy:Advent Children was the only good ovie they've made.........But the thing good about this game was the story and thats what makes a good movie........So I do think it will be good if they make one but SE probably won't.
 
If the movie was not the original game then why not. If they focus on a different set of characters and events e.g the machina war, Braska's journey and so on.

Same characters, probably not.
 
I don't think it should ever become a movie but i would still watch it, probably mostly out of curiosity! (and Tidus is hawt even though he is annoying)

I don't' think it would make people want to play the game more because I can't see the movie being any good.
 
If Wada were to spearhead the project? Hell no. We'd have another fanserviced piece of shit to deal with. Though, it would be much worse in this case because the only REDEEMABLE quality in X-2 was the system in which you learned abilities. That wouldn't be seen in a movie adaptation, rather we'd get much more T&A.

Now, I'm not averse to nudity, so don't assume me to be a prude. However, I'm also intelligent and see through Wada's cheap attempts to captivate audiences with smut. As someone mentioned above, if a movie were to be made chronicling Braska's pilgrimage, I may watch it. Even though the ending would be spoiled for everyone already, as long as the tone is done correctly, it would make for an alright film. Oh, and no live action shit.
 
If they bought out a movie of the original game, I may watch it, providing they actually get their fingers out and make it a good one! I love the story to the game and the ending is kind of like a "Titanic" moment.

BUT I would prefer them to do something like they did with VII, only instead of a sequel, make it a prequel. I love the whole Braska journey idea, I think that would look soooo good!

considering its complex story about who actually Tidus is and his dad, etc
so complex that I could only comprehend its story juz a lil' bit
