Okay.... Now that the FFVII remake announcement is several days old now and all people have either died from their excitement (or concerns) or have recovered enough of their wits to be able to resume their lives it seems like the opportune moment to discuss some of the other things to come from E3.
Anybody else looking forward to Uncharted 4 yet?
Here is the latest gameplay footage revealed at E3:
Obviously this looks fantastic and action-packed, and it's lovely to see Nate and Sully being themselves again. Behind closed doors some people later got a peek at Elena too.
I'm quite looking forward to the story too. The history of piracy fascinates me, and the story of Henry Avery is a very interesting one. Avery was a generation before the so-called Golden Age of Piracy, but his ideals and the legends that formed about him (such as his Pirate Republic in Madagascar which this game draws from) partly inspired the ideologies of the pirates which followed him in the Golden Age.
For the gaming community it is quite good because it isn't just the AC: Black Flag historical backdrop all over again. This is a different sort of pirate. A so-called pirate king, and a pirate of whom many myths were created which the Uncharted universe can exploit.
Apparently this might be Nathan Drake's last adventure.
What are your thoughts on UC4? What would you like to see, or what would you not like to see?
