FF Music Please help me Identify this FF song!!

Alright, a little background story:

I was in 7th grade and a friend gave me a track list-less CD, with some final fantasy songs on it. A lot of them I knew, but there were a few I didn't. Well, in 8th grade, my family moved houses, and the CD was lost. Now about to be a junior in college, I haven't seen the CD since. There was this song on it I really liked, and would like to find it.

I re-created the parts I remembered in FL Studio... don't laugh, cuz it sounds like cheesy midi lol These sound clips stream directly form their links.


So I can't remember exactly how it begins, but I know there is this pluck melody in the beginning:

I tried to recreate the bass line, but couldn't quite remember the notes xD

Then on my favorite part, there's a lead guitar that plays this melody, with some nice drums and choir sounds behind it:

If someone can miraculously figure out this song, I will be a very happy dude. This is my first post on this forum, so you know that I just randomly out of desperation said " Oh! There may be hope!" lol

That definetely sounds like you're not alone from Final fantasy IX. ^^ Never played the game myself but heard that song many times.
 
I couldn't get either of those links to work. I think they're down or something now.

What you described does sound a lot like You're Not Alone. If that is the track you mean then you've every right to go through all of this to try and find it again, as it is an epic track.
