I AM SO excited for this game and I noticed hat I have not made a thread on it yet. Its exclusive on Xbox 360. It is made by namco so im guessin it has some tales style things. some So elements which will make it :awesome: Who knows if it will suceed on the charts though as it is the firs MC game on next gen consoles. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magna_Carta_II

Those have got to be some of the biggest knockers I've seen on a game cover since Lula: Virtual Babe :wacky:

It's not made by Namco though, only published by them. The developer is Softmax. I played Magnacarta: Tears of Blood for the PS2 and it was decent enough game, not really anything out of the ordinary. The storyline and the cast were pretty well done, but the game was terribly linear, the voice acting pretty bad, and the battle system was horrible. If they've managed to streamline the new one a bit compared to Tears of Blood, I'll be sure to check it out. I'll probably wait for it to get cheap though.

Another Magna Carta!? Awesome. Tears Of Blood was awesome, except for a few horrible things. If they fix those things, like the boring cutscenes, the game will be epico win :)

I briefly played the first one and I didnt like the battle system very much. I probably will get the second one. You gotta love the OTT breasts on the characters lol.

OTT breasts? The battle system looks kinda nice. The trailers on the Official site are pretty good too. How was the first one like. I never played and I want this game so badly xD. Cant wait.

I always wanted to play a Magna Carta game so much too, but I don't have an Xbox 360 so I'm outta luck.D:

Lol, over the top breasts. OTT. The art work from that game always has the female characters with huge boobs. Love the art work though, its lovely.

Oh Lol Mariella I agree. When I first checked out the wensite I was like what? The Huge boobs are :awesome: Lol even though it will be my first Magna Carta ever to play. What can I say Im a sucker for rpg games lol. Every good rpg I see im like "Ya im getting that"

I'd like to try it out but I don't have an Xbox unfortunately. I saw some videos on youtube and the battle system looks awkward but I'm not sure which Magna Carta it was.
It looks interesting though because the character design is really unique and I love the artwork (Hyung Tae-kim is his name I believe). Nomura could learn a thing or two :D

The artwork is stunning, so envious lol! I recently bought the first game and Im getting slowly back into it. I was younger when I last played it and wasnt too impressed with the game. But second time round, meh its growing on me.

Omg a week left till it comes out! OMG I CAN NOT WAIT! I have already seen some of the battle system and it looks good. Over 40 hours of gameplay is just right! THE ART is beautiful. So yeah this is next. I cant wait for Magna Carta II <33333

Comes out tommorow, Im trading some games in for it. Im hoping I get a good price because its priced at £45! I hate it when game shops charge that much for an RPG, they dont do it for freaking Halo or GTA!

I've noticed that too. I was going to try and get it at my local Asda as their prices aren't bad sometimes, but it's not even listed for pre-order on their site :S

I think I'm better off waiting for pre-owneds :P

Yeah, Risen is £32 in Tesco and £44 in Game and Gamestation!! I start my new job tommorow in my local GAME, so Im hoping I can use my discount right away lol.

I went into Asda yesterday to find out if they're getting any copies, apparently not. Fingers crossed Grainger Games will get it, I got Vesperia for 37 while everywhere else got it for 45.

Oh somebody mentioned Blockbusters for 39.99. Must check that today :)

I got mine for nothing today :D I started work in a game shop today, traded some games in and used my discount, so got it for free :D Its £45 in my workplace, so mega chuffed.

Im liking it so far, but theres a character I dislike already. Her names Melissa, watch out for her. REALLY dislike her :(

Awwww I went to the store yesterday and found out that Magnacarta II is not released here yet :sad2: I have to wait till November. Well Anne you played it so can I know how it is? ^_^ just so you know im fucking dieing for this game right now :ness:

Just finished the game myself.

@SapphireStar: If you don't like Melissa, you will probably want to incinerate Celestine :monster:

anyway...

I have actually just purchased my Xbox 360 Console a few weeks ago because I hadn't played Oblivion in a while and wanted to play again. I was also looking for a new console since I've had the money to spend on one... but my heart dropped when I saw how many RPGs there were with downloadable content, leading me to believe there aren't a lot of good RPGs for this console that really appeal to me as a gamer.

I honestly thought they'd all be crap, because some of the RPGs for the Xbox 360 I've actually gotten wind of in my isolated life, Blue Dragon was one of them and it never really looked all that impressive. Enchanted Arms was absolutely dreadful, too.

However, Magna Carta 2 was a sigh of relief as I bought it very reluctantly considering how much it was selling for and was wondering how long it would really last since it was my first step into the series.

I'd say that Magna Carta 2 is definitely worth playing... It has it's gimmicks, but if you're used to doing things like Raid Progression in World of Warcraft (or just learning how to overcome the enemy), it's nothing that you won't be able to push past.

That being said, I think my biggest disappointment in the game lies with excessively long and gimmicky boss battles. Of course, it's all the more rewarding to win the harder you work for it, but it can be very stressful to spend 10 minutes doing something and come so close to completing that part of the game, failing, and then having to spend 30 more minutes trying to do it again just to fail again.

I did download the Additional Content Package that comes with 2 different style weapons for each character that I am pretty sure are all best-in-slot equipment, so I probably didn't have as much trouble as someone who didn't download it.

I suppose it's just easy to imagine how time consuming and stressful a lot of losses like the boss fight at Darkblade Fortress could have been. Didn't even have time to switch my equipment and adjust my team to as I saw fit... dropped dead like 5 seconds later and had to start back at the pillar near the Avis guy in Ruhalt.

I also find the music lacking quite a bit... Its kind of sad, considering how amazing the graphics and designs are, as well as the battle system.

Near endgame, the music gets pretty dreary and dull, it's such a disappointment considering the atmosphere that the characters boast with their optimistic attitudes and unfaltering determination throughout the entire game.

I'm also pretty disappointed with the replay value... due to how long some parts of the story took, I don't really see any reason to restart on Highwind Island with nothing and swing a stick at crabs for 2 hours.

I finished the game in 3 days, clocking 34 hours... So I'd say the average amount of time it probably takes to complete the game is about 40 hours, which is pretty standard in today's RPGs.

I'm not sure if I want to say it's worth 60 USD, but if you find yourself in the same position as me, waiting on a game you want to arrive via slow-ass shipping, you are beginning to lose your sanity, have become anxious as hell to do something else besides the same old same, and have the money to burn for it... Well then, go for it.

It will sate your thirst for a while.

It's not a game I'd particularly recommend to anyone out of the blue personally, but I am satisfied with my purchase and do not regret it.

Lol, dont have to worry bout Melissa now though. Im enjoying it so far, I havent gotten so far. Unlocked about 6 achievements and Im 5 hours in. I like the skill tree, thats different. And Im not as confused with this one as I was the previous game. I agree the music is a let down as the graphics and voice acting is brilliant. Im going to get some points to unlock the special weapons.

And Celestines intro is interesting!

Yeah, there is a good reason why some people love RPGs and big EYED anime characters :D

So I just got the game yesterday and I am loving LOVIN LOVING it so far! Its a really great game so far and I like the battle system and everything. Overheatin is annoyin but I get over it. I really like Zephie and the other characters. Argo is beast but omg Celestine is ummmmm what can I say fun? She s annoying but shes fun to use. I am now fighting Huaren. Tutorial lectures are extrememly LONg!
