so i got the game today for my birthday, and well, in the first minute or so, i was astounded. I have several ds games, but so far none of them have done what ff3 has done wise graphics wise. Further to this, i know i'll get mognet at somepoint, and the idea of that sounds cool. I'm still getting into the game, so will post more later.

If anyone wants to ognet me, let me know and i'll find out what to do when i open it.

Im curious to what this game is like and now seeing as theres a version like this of FFIV being released,im even more curious,so whats it like then?

I got Final Fantasy 3 for my birthday as well, but I've got a few other Final Fantasy games to complete before I play this one. Square Enix really pushed the graphical capabilities of the DS for this game. They used only one screen for the cut scenes to improve the graphics.

well, i have one issue i must mention, i've had a few game overs. just when you think you've gone to the right place, you run into enemies who wipe you out with one move... that's when you realise you forgot to save last time you were on the world map (only place it's possible), but i guess it's similar with all ffs, once you figure out how the game works, things become easier.

I got this for christmas but i haven't really been able to sit down and play it. I got side tracted by teh release of ffV anf FFVI advance. And i also got 12 for christmas so that took all my time round then.

12 came out before ff3ds in this country, so i had time to complete that before getting it. Also, my ps2 broke so have been without ff for some time, this game has rescued me!

Good in ds standards

I must admit it is a very good game in ds standards anyway. i am not much of a hardcore gamer but i still enjoyed playing this game well i still am but i am right near the end and i am training coz the last boss's are tough. My advice power level!:P

Well, first, money reasons...

second, well, i just don't get imports. I live in the UK, it's all part and parcel of living here.

It came to the same price as buying it here in the shops. I live in the UK also and Ebay is great for importing, you just dont go for the expensive p&p.

Get used to that. People say you'll get about 50-60 Hours of playing time in your first playthrough, but guess what. You'll actually be spending those 30-40 hours training. Its the entire game, you will move on with the story and will get decimated by the next area's foes. You're ment to train a LOT in this game.
