Ok, don't know if this belongs here or in the pairings section.
Tired of the VII fandom being split over some silly love triangle that really doesn't have an overall affect on the plot of the game?
Sick of every thread dealing with FF7 being turned into a Cleris and Cloti debate?
Do you laugh when you read through a Cleris/Cloti debate because everyone is basically trolling and screaming at each other?
(Note: Not all debates are rabid, sometimes I get lucky and find a very civil one on both sides)
This is the club for you then.
Final Fantasy VII's theme is life, not love. The game was made so that you can interpret whether Cloud loved Tifa or Aerith. So all these debates are pretty much like beating a dead horse over and over again because, well either pairing can be right.
You may have a preference as to who you want Cloud to end up with, but if the creators were to confirm the other this situation won't happen:
"ZOMG! I H8 FF7 now!" And proceed to throw away every VII merchandise you own including the game.
Instead your reaction would be: Oh ok. and move on with your life.
This is NOT an anti Cloti or Cleris club, so don't make it one.
In the end, we just don't care who Cloud loves. They are just video game characters after all.
