Well theres alwyas threads about your favourite things in gfx what you like to do, your favourite styles etc but what do you hate?

I hate borders. Adding borders to sigs is one of the things that just straight bugs my happiness. I used to have a nice handy border plugin filter which was great but on this laptop i dont have it so i use the rectangular tool. I play about for ages tryin to find a border i like, the thickness that looks best. The colour etc. I hate it. It brings me to tears. Yet do i download the plugin...no :hmph: my own fault i spose. So most times i dont bother with them

PS
Why ps doesnt have a border filter as standard is stupid :hmph:

I hate text. I absolutely fucking hate it. I hate looking for fonts and trying to place them, i hate changing theyre settings to suit the sig colours. you know things like gradient maps etc? In the past ive alwyas forced myself to add text believing its neccesary to complete a sig (it isnt). Now i dont care what differnce it makes. Its just something that i find stupidly hard and not worth my time. Textless sigs ftw.

PS
Why are most standard fonts ugly and boring? :hmph:

Thats all i can think of right now. Theres bound to ahhh i remember

I hate pentool rendering :hmph: The pentool does my head in. Rendering is so painfully slow and tedious when using the pentool. I still can never get it perfect either. Theres alwyas a rough edge or two. And how people render hair still baffles me, how they muster the patience to do it baffles me even more. My advice. If its simple just use the bg eraser. It only takes a minute and you can just blend in the rougher bits later on.

PS
There should be a magic filter that can isntantly cut out images. GEt your act together adobe :hmph:

That. I hate rendering crap. :gonk:

It would be so much easier if they just made one of those that weren't so much money. :gonk:

I also hate doing borders. :hmph:

I'm really beginning to hate borders. I've always used either half borders, or full borders, but sometimes (happening a lot lately) it just doesn't sit well at all for the signatures I make, but I also can't find anything nice that isn't too distracting, so I usually end up going with black borders, I find white WAY too distracting. :gonk:

I'm also really getting ticked off with my love for big canvas sizes, not so much that it bothers me to make them because I LOVE having the free space, but I almost feel like I can't make small signatures anymore, so I'm REALLY gonna try and get my ass back in gear and make the 1995 signatures. :mokken: Or try to at least.

It shouldn't be a problem as I really enjoy making the big ones, but... I just want to keep good at making small ones too. :rage:

I hate text. I add it anyways because I wajt something there and it usually feels... Naked, so to speak, without it. I can't stand looking for a font and then thinking it looks good only to have someone say it looks like shit :sad3:

Big Casino For full borders you can just make a new layer, select all, and go to edit > stroke and then choose a color and fiddle with it, or for half borders just make a selection, fill it, then duplicate it. At least that's what I do for borders :hmmm: (if you already knew that just disregard this :gasp:)

I don't like borderless pieces :( They look better with them. If it has rounded edges, on the otherhand, that makes up for a border and looks really good when done right.

I'm not too fond of text either... Haha. I used to enjoy doing creative things with it, but now I find it more difficult to make it work as part of the full piece. Text tends to break the flow and/or doesn't work with the general theme.

I can't work out how on earth clipping masks are meant to work... So they're a small annoyance too! ;)

hate text sooo much... whatever text i use it seems to ruin my work... which i hate sooo much.... i use to hate blending but i got awesome at that now. I hate creating effects as well... i alway use the same effects.. which i don't like and i need to get out of

Let's see, I hate text, rendering, working with such low-quality images.

Actually, the lq images I can deal with, but it's really hard to get a render that doesn't look too choppy. And don't get me started on text. I have to spend like 20 minutes just looking for the right font, and pretty much what lew said about finding the right color and all that shit. I've gotten better at it, but it still pisses me the fuck off.

For rendering, I stick to magic wand even though it produces very choppy results. But when you have an image that has more than 6 different tones of colors and you want to render it, I say it's not even worth it. It's just too bothersome for me. :hmph:
