Debate: Espers or Yarhi?

I simply refuse to call the lowly monsters espers! Belias and Ifrit, yes, but not a chocobo! I like yarhi for them.

Did anyone else have a problem calling the normal monsters Espers?

Chocobos and the like shouldn't be called Espers. Bahamut, Odin, Shiva, etc. deserve the name for the sole fact that they are unique.

Besides, aren't Chocobos found in forests in most FFs?

I called the shitty ones yahri but the ones like Ultima and Odin were espers, well I called them that anyway

Whoever call a bomb an esper is an Esper nazi why they even decided to call them espers is beyond my understanding. maybe because you summon them, and summoned creatures usually are Espers. still, i don't use the term Espers for the shitty monsters, as Bam said

Well, they were only really vcalled espers at the beginning when you didn't know what they were, and I too am guessing is because they were summoned. Once you learn they are yahri, that's what they go by in the game

Yarhi is kinda odd name and I didn't like it. So they were Espers for me.
In addition, I hate the espers in FFXII because they are lame.
So calling lame things like bomb an "esper" it is my personal revenge XD.
