Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion announced; releasing this winter for PS, Xbox, Switch and PC

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII has been bestowed a Phoenix Down and a new lease on life with a new shiny remastered version. Formerly exclusive to the PlayStation Portable, this action RPG starring Zack Fair will now initiate its Digital Mind Wave on your PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch 'this winter'.

For those of you who have not played this game on PSP, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII features SOLDIER 1st Class Zack Fair working with Shinra in hopes of tracking down a dangerous fellow SOLDIER fugitive known as Genesis Rhapsodos. The game serves as the direct prequel to the original Final Fantasy VII.

Legends say this foul, baneful creature will find your dwellings at the dead of night. Paying little to no regard to social graces or general good manners, this vicious, insatiable creature is said to trespass unimpeded into its victims' rooms, a remarkable accomplishment considering not even dogs are alert to such an intruder.

Once inside, the creature purportedly forces slumbering victims into drinking vials of a mysterious substance known only tentatively as 'Fantasia'. Once ingested, it takes only 3 hours for the effects to fully take hold. The unsuspecting victim will wake to find themselves a Lalafell...

So, so happy about this! 🐣 Long overdue but finally happening! Also love that it is getting some nice texture revamps too. Very excited for this! I can accept the new voice acting but feel it's a bit cheeky to add thsi to Xbox... just sayin'... :blink: But this will certainly help re-establish Zack for players who haven't played the original.
