I'm going to vote for #1. I like how it looks like the artist added extra smoke onto the avatar (I can tell because I nearly entered using this stock :lew:) and the somewhat transparent border is a nice touch. For some reason I feel like a black bar behind the text would look really good, but it's an awesome avatar regardless. :monster:
