Or Agnes Carlsson, as she is really called. I first heard her when Release Me debuted over here and got a good place in the charts. I thought she had such a unique voice and was somewhat surprised to hear she won Swedish Idol some five years ago. The only kind of music I've heard from her so far is dance and it's most certainly different to some of the dance music I usually listen to.

I rather like Agnes in Release Me and I Need You Now. She has a strong voice and can hold a note well. Her English is rather good after seeing her interviewed once on TV.

She did really remind me of Leona Lewis at first. When I first saw her, she really looked like our X Factor 2006 winner. She even won a talent show herself - so it was easy to compare her to Leona.

Never heard of her until now, so thanks for posting the videos!
