WelcometoAfterlife.png

The train going through the tunnel moved faster than normal. All passengers had no idea of what had just taken place. Yet Gabriel watched them all from the front of the car. This car out of all others was to be picked for the Afterlife games. The reaper didn't know whether to be sorry for this group or to be excited about being able to run the games for once.

The train now moved through a dark tunnel. This meant Citadel City was near and that now would be his time to start the briefings. His materialization out of nowhere didn't seem to have an effect on the busy passengers at all. He took the appearance of a young boy in a black cloak with white hair and red eyes; the same albino appearance he had when he was alive. *ahem* The gray reaper cleared his throat.

"Good evening passengers." he spoke calmly. "I am Gabriel and I am here to welcome you all to Citadel City before we reach our stop."

"What on earth are you rambling on about?" yawned a young woman sitting in seat 8. "Is this the wrong train?"

"Like I don't even, like, know what this kid is talking about either." another young woman from seat seven spoke.

"That voice sounds familiar..." went the blind male from seat 10.

"You are all a part of the Afterlife games." went a frustrated Gabriel.

You're forgetting something sir! Show them what's happened sir! came a bubbly voice from his thin black earpiece. Gabriel could always count on advice from his assistant. "It's much easier if I just show you all." Gabriel spoke switching on a monitor conveniently stationed on a wall of the train.

The monitor flashed to news footage. A few heads turned to watch. The broadcast was loud.

This is Tiffany Williams with a mind numbing news bulletin. Right now I'm standing in front of the station outside the city where the train crash that occurred earlier this day is still recovering victims of the tragedy. So far there has been no survivors from what I can tell. More victims recovered from this terrible incident have been discovered to be the bodies of Elanora Jameson, Ryu Matsuri, Clarissa Montague, Matthew Jameson, Father Xavier James, Marcus Giles, Alyss Aldan, Sarah Wisley, Ms. Mavin Davis, Marin Prescott, twins Allen and Thomas Rhodes, Kiresta Calisto, Tia Wang, Romeo Willis, Jackie Hayes, Damien Peers and a Ms. Rita Thompson.

Yet insiders say there are still a lot more to be recovered.

"Yo what the hell is this shit?" A scruffy young man in seat 11 shouted. "Is this some sort of joke?"

The monitor footage cut to weeping family members and friends. "So are we like, dead or something, like that?" the female in seat seven asked once more.

"Please stay calm everyone." Gabriel advised. "No one is dead yet. Your chance to gain your normal lives back lies here in Citadel City."

The train emerged from it's dark tunnel and onto tracks leading to an island of sorts. A large city could be seen with a tower in the center that sits high in the sky. The ominous environment seemed to be tinted with the color red. For those who knew no better, this city looked like a picture of an apocalyptic worn place.

"Now are there any questions before I head on to the next subject?" Gabriel asked politely.

"당신이 무슨 말을하는거야?" spoke a little Korean girl as the train got closer and closer the the wretched island.

Alyss wasn’t quite sure what to make of what just happened. She wasn’t supposed to be going anywhere near a city called “Citadel City”. As far as she was concerned, she was being kidnapped. However, when the man played the news it seemed very convincing. Yet Alyss didn’t buy into it at all. They couldn’t be dead, she was fine. Just to make sure she pinched her arm slightly. Just as she expected, she was able to feel it. This man has to be lying. Of course he is. This is absurd.

A few of the others that kept talking were annoying her especially the one that kept saying “like” in her sentences. Some people were far better off being mute. Yet the ones that needed to be so never were. She rolled her eyes slightly and continued listening. He assured them all that they were still alive and had a “chance” of returning. What did he mean by that? What was Citadel City? Most importantly, why was the sky turning red? She didn’t like this at all. She didn’t like the fact that she had to travel by train in the first place. Now some psychopath was saying that they were dead.

A little Asian girl asked something, but of course Alyss didn’t understand, so she simply spoke over her. “What did you mean by ‘chance’ to get our normal lives back? Is this some kind of joke or a game? I want to go home; I do not have time for this. I do not know how you managed to set this up, but I will be reporting this to my Father and the police. Take me back home or you will be sorry.” Her tone was as it always was: bratty. At least, that’s what everyone else would hear from her. However, Alyss never cared about it in the slightest.

She just wanted to go home and now the train was going anywhere but as Alyss looked out the window. One thing was for certain, she didn’t like where they were heading… not in the slightest. It looked gloomy, dark, and depressing. Everything about this place was completely wrong. Before she realized what was going on, she started trembling just a little bit. What if this man is telling the truth? H-How will I get back home? This is nonsense… lunacy even.

<Kiresta Calisto>

Kiresta opened her eyes. Her Vision was Hazy as she looked around the train, She didn't remember falling asleep! she didn't even close her eyes! YEt she had somehow fallen asleep, How deploring.

Rubbing her eyes she took in her surroundings. It was the same train she was on yet something seemed different, It was dark. the train left at 12:00 PM and was expected to arrive at her destination by 3. It shouldn't be dark!

Nervously, Kiresta quietly asked out "..Does anyone know what time it is?" But before she could finish the question, The man at the front spoke.

"Good evening passengers.I am Gabriel and I am here to welcome you all to Citadel City before we reach our stop."

"..Pardon?" Kiresta spoke out, along with a few others. "I there was no Citadel city on the list of stops!" annoyance filled her voice. she was late, For this?

"You are all a part of the Afterlife games." gabriel said, Looking annoyed.

"The Afterlife games? what is this some stupid Tv show?" kiresta said aloud again. She resorted to glaring at the man up front. For he spoke again.

"It's much easier if I just show you all". He Said as he casually switched on the monitor. The sight of a trainwreck greeted her and she observed the distruction. Bodies we're littered everwhere and blood stained the Car. Upon closer observation, Kiresta Swore she saw..Herself, Amongst the bodies. But that was impossible, She was sitting right here! The news reader spoke out snapping Kiresta from her thoughts.

The broadcast cut out and Kiresta was left silent. Her name had been called. Listed as one of the Dead. Yet that was impossible. For she was alive.

"excuse me!" she called out. "How is this possible? I'm alive!" Her voice mixed in with the other passengers Echoes. The Broadcast was switched on again and it showed the families of the departed. As it panned to Kiresta's Family she gasped as she saw Cadyn, Her brother had returned!

Letting a small breath out and turned to glare Death at Gabriel, what sick joke was he playing?

"Please stay calm everyone." Gabriel spoke "No one is dead yet. Your chance to gain your normal lives back lies here in Citadel City." He said.

"Bullshit" Kiresta growled under her breath. She looked up as Gabriel spoke again

"Now are there any questions before I head on to the next subject?" He said trying to be polite. she heard the little girl speak, But it was in a language she didn't understand. Kiresta smoothed out her clothes As another girl spoke.

"What did you mean by ‘chance’ to get our normal lives back? Is this some kind of joke or a game? I want to go home; I do not have time for this. I do not know how you managed to set this up, but I will be reporting this to my Father and the police. Take me back home or you will be sorry.” She said, Her tone bratty.

Kiresta mentally sighed at her "rich kid take me home now" voice and resolved to ask her own question.

"Let's just say I believe'd you and we have a chance to "Regain life" since we're "dead". Explain to me How this is possible, why the hell your doing this, and what you hope to gain from it. Please and thank you." Kiresta ground out the last few words. her tone increasingly Angry.

"The bastard better have a damn good reason" Kiresta thought

Ryu Matsuri

Ryu woke up with a start as he stretched. It looked like he fell asleep. But it was only then that he realized that something was not right. For one thing, it was not supposed to be this dark in the morning. He saw a man in front as he spoke.

"Good evening passengers.I am Gabriel and I am here to welcome you all to Citadel City before we reach our stop."

Ryu stood up as he looked at the man.

"Excuse me, but I work in the city as an officer and I know beyond a fact that we do not live or work in this Citadel City." Ryu muttered looking at the man.

The man seemed to ignored him.

"You are all a part of the Afterlife games."

"Like I said, there is no such thing as 'Afterlife games' or the likes." Ryu muttered starting to get annoyed.

"It's much easier if I just show you all"

A monitor turned on as Ryu looked at the monitor.

his is Tiffany Williams with a mind numbing news bulletin. Ryu was thinking hard. If this viewing was true, then they are more or less dead. But that does not exclude the fact that they are still breathing.

"Please stay calm everyone. No one is dead yet. Your chance to gain your normal lives back lies here in Citadel City."

"Sir, you have a lot of explaining to do and I believe you might want to start right now." Ryu muttered as he slipped out of his seat location and slowly walked up to the man.

"She's got what? Bright red hair? Are you kidding me? ... Right, well then she's either a demon or a stripper. ... Yeah. ... No, I see her. You'll hear back from me by the end of the day."

***

It should have just another debunked claim of demonic possession. The little girl - and she really was tiny - was clearly not possessed. Well, at least not by any demon. She certainly was possessed by a trumped up sense of self-worth, self-importance, and entitlement that Xavier had the distinct desire to slap out of her from the moment he sat near her on the train.

The train.

He didn't even really remember what the original intended destination of the train was supposed to be. The destination wasn't really important to him anyway. But it certainly wasn't meant to be this... Citadel City of which Gabriel spoke.

Gabriel. As in the archangel.

The archangel Gabriel was not. Father X had been dealing with the occult and the Church's dirty little secrets long enough to know that this Gabriel was not demonic. Demons had a certain scent. Part acrid, part burning, part Grandma's old sweater that's been sitting in the closet collecting mothballs for 60 years. Gabriel had none of these smells. But he clearly wasn't fully human. And in all of X's travails on the dark side of the holy Mother Church, he had never heard of any "Afterlife Games." So Gabriel was obviously operating ... off the radar, so to speak.

Interesting.

Father Xavier James waited and watched the others react, rekindling his desire to beat the redheaded girl, and watching Gabriel for signs of... anything.

Silence. An epic, deep silence. A void so full of nothing that it pulls at your very being in an attempt to make something of itself; something that wasn’t dark or lonely. It’s the kind of void that makes you want to withdraw into yourself; pull the covers over your head and pretend that the boogeyman isn’t there. This is what she felt, an emptiness so wide that it swallowed her.

In a single moment, it was as if she didn’t exist anymore, like nothing else mattered because she would never enjoys the throes of life again. And in the next, she was dead.

Ouch.

These brief thoughts were replaced in an instant; her thoughts of life versus death erased and forgotten, replaced only by a dull throbbing pain on her brow. Without thinking, her hand came up to gingerly touch her forehead, rubbing at a pain that didn’t really exist. But it felt like she just smashed her head into something. She should have been bleeding.

”.. So far there has been no survivors from what I can tell. More victims recovered from this terrible incident..”

The strong assertion of a reporter brought her to, waking her from her brief death induced mini-coma. Darkness again; no, it wasn’t the same. The sounds of voices, like frightened children wailing for their mothers, asking questions, begging answers to the only one who knew everything were all around her. Someone stood at the head of the train car; he called himself Gabriel, like a son of God. He did his best to calm everyone down, answers questions when reasonable, and explain their situation. Other passengers on the train had their own agenda, now that was thrown precariously to the wind for a new purpose. They were already putting the pieces of the puzzle together.

Regain their lives? Like some sort of
game?

Marin didn’t speak while everyone else was trying to get answers, speaking over one another with no sense of conduct. Well, when one is dead, is there ever really a time for manners?

Marin could only ask one thing.
“What kind of sick, twisted game is this?”

"What did you mean by ‘chance’ to get our normal lives back? Is this some kind of joke or a game? I want to go home; I do not have time for this. I do not know how you managed to set this up, but I will be reporting this to my Father and the police. Take me back home or you will be sorry.”

"Let's just say I believe'd you and we have a chance to "Regain life" since we're "dead". Explain to me How this is possible, why the hell your doing this, and what you hope to gain from it. Please and thank you."

"Sir, you have a lot of explaining to do and I believe you might want to start right now."

“What kind of sick, twisted game is this?”

Gabriel's calm expression remained on his face despite the many who had taken him up on his offer. He could easily kill off the hostile ones no problem, but he knew that he would be in trouble if he attempted to lay even one finger on someone. And so he kindly gave the answers they craved in return. "Well. It's all very simple. You twelve are dead, however you all have a chance to regain life once more like it never happened. But this only happens if you require enough points in the competition. Naturally points can only be obtained by killing an opponent who will pass along half their total points onto you." Gabriel began as the train pulled into a rickety station.

Sir! The Angels are ready sir! Make sure to mention them sir! They are an important part of the games sir! chimed in Gabriel's assistant through his earpiece. "With that said you will all be going into Citadel City to fight each other to the death."

"What?" chimed in Tia, the panicking Korean child who understood nothing.

"우리는 죽음의 게임을하고 있습니다." replied Clarissa who sat in seat 8 and recognized the small girl's language.

"오! 참 재밌군요!" the small girl replied excitedly.

Clarissa gave a sly smile before focusing her attention back on Gabriel. "Each person will be given an 'Angel Phone' which will grant each user a specific power and a partner to help them."

The rugged seat 11 passenger stood in a rage "Ay wait! So this is-"

"Some sort of sick tournament." the blind man finished.

"You will be given locations of food and water through your angel phones. This is required as you are all still need nourishment to eat to survive despite death. You may also contact each other through message during the course of the games." Gabriel continued. "You will need to eat, drink and find shelter within Citadel, an empty city."

"Like, what happens, like, if you lose your phone?" Luci from seat 7 asked.

"Then you're screwed." the rugged man from seat 11 replied.

"So we have to like, always like have our phone and stuff? Can we like just order food from our phone? Like delivery?" Luci added.

The doors of the train opened. "A full set of rules on the games will be waiting in the systems of your Afterlife phones." Gabriel spoke. "Along with your angels. Each person should choose wisely. With each angel comes a set of unique powers. It's first come first serve."

Clarissa was the first out of the train, seeing the phones spread out on a rickety wooden table in the train station. "Aye! Come back!" Romeo from seat 11 headed out after her as did the rest of the passengers from seat 7-12.

Now all that were left were the remaining six on the train who had to choose which phone belonged to them while the others explored their choices in the station outside. Gabriel stood silently. "For those of you who still don't believe, you can't afford not to."

With that said a loud shot of a pistol could be heard and a few screams echoed outside of the train car as Marcus Giles' head had been completely blown off. He fell slowly to the ground as bits of skull, flesh and bone fell to the ground drizzling red blood. "That's ten points for me." Clarissa spoke as she ran towards the city slums holding a pistol in her hands.

"Exhibit A." Gabriel nodded at the dead corpse bleeding out in from of the train car.

Status - DEAD
Ending: Marcus screamed as his sould faded out of existence. His children faded away from time and when his wife awoke the next morning she had no memory of him or their children. She could not explain why she grieved at the train wreck on September 13, 2020 or why she lived in such a ridiculously large family home all alone. Mrs. Giles became Ms. Giles and soon found new love after moving into an apartment complex.

Clarissa + 10 points.

10 anonymous players + 1 point

Ryu Matsuri

After listening and watching the so called 'example', Ryu knew that he can't take any chance with anyone.

"So basically, it's like those online death match games with no restarts." Ryu muttered as he ran up to the table.

Seeing one phone with an angel girl with black hair, Ryu grab the phone and just to ensure that he has more time to get away from the group, Ryu kicked the table over, sending the phones scattering on the ground before he bolted from the station and to the first location that would make complete sense in a death match like this. The hospital. With the map on the screen, Ryu started to make his way to the location.

(OOC: Speaking of which, on the map you put up what is the Legend for the food/water, will there be weapons lying around the city like the pistol and is the rules the signup/discussion board of this rp?)

A competition?! This is sick! She couldn’t believe what she was hearing. In fact, it didn’t seem as if anyone could. Of course, how could anyone blame them? This was barbaric! It truly was sheer lunacy. It was completely barbaric! They were honestly supposed to fight to the death? This had to have been some kind of sick joke… it just had to be. How could she be expected to fight? Alyss was tiny… more so than most of the people on the train. If they wanted her to fight they had to have been kidding themselves. Alyss hadn’t even been in many arguments, much less anything physical.

There were phones that were waiting for them. They were supposed to have something in them that could help them. An “angel” apparently. Just as Alyss was beginning to ride everything off, she heard the death of “exhibit A”. She gasped to herself. No doubt everyone else could hear her. For the first time in her life she felt panicked. She felt as if the entire situation was completely out of her control. She couldn’t help but whisper to herself. “I-I do not want to die…”

The man’s body had hit the ground and Alyss could see blood escaping from his head. The woman had been the one that blew his head off. She was too scared to go and get a phone until she saw the girl take off towards what appeared to be slums. Without waiting for anyone else, Alyss took off running. She quickly grabbed a phone with what appeared to be a red headed woman on it. The map was already up, and she knew she wanted to be far away… very far away.

She decided on Bradbury Park and took off running again. Her heels clicked at the ground and it made it difficult for her to run. But she wanted to get away so badly that she didn’t care. Anyone could kill her at any moment. Alyss didn’t plan on letting anyone get that close…

Marin sat patiently as the rules of the game were laid out before them. It seemed simple enough; kill them before they kill you. She never was very good at shooters or fighting games. Actually, when was the last time she sat down with a roommate and played a videogame?

This thought was shortly interrupted when a shot echoed from beyond the train car. Gasps, thump, and then silence. Victory.

Someone was already well on their way to reclaiming life. Marin glanced around her before another had dashed out of the train car without waiting an excuse. He was a large, burly man, rude by the sounds of the table knocking out onto its side. He clearly didn’t care for anyone else’s well being? Was there time for that?

Marin rose from her seat, sat at the very front of the car and pushed her way out, bumping into the Archangel, the Director of the games. They didn’t need any more of an excuse to leave now, their lives were in danger.

It was an all out free for all.

Upon seeing the table turned on its side out in the station, she searched for a sign, a phone, her new way of life. There!

A phone law only a few meters away from her, some others quite a ways away. Gabriel had advised to choose wisely, but beggars couldn’t be choosers. She went for the phone, taking it up in her hands to see a flickering image of a man wearing a burgundy coat. The impact on the ground caused the phone to glitch for a moment, as Marin gently tapped on it. “No no, not now. I don’t wanna die.”

She didn't realize how stalled for time she was when someone took a shot at her from a distance, narrowly missing her shoulder. The sudden value of life dawning on her, she scattered like a frightened mouse, going off in whichever direction her legs would take her.

<Kiresta>

That, Bitch!

This was entertainment?! What kind of screwed up minds do These people have?! Revolting!

The Train ground a halt and the panic begun, People we're rushing around! Kiresta grabbed a phone and chucked it out the window, Why help anyone? She held back as A Body fell into the train. Blood splashing across the tracks. The BRatty kid quickly left the train before it was kicked over by the man who stood up to Gabriel.

Kiresta lunged at the ground and snatched up a phone, before elbowing to people and speeding off out into the world. Pausing behind a buliding,

"My options...My options..."
She muttered and looked at her phone. The angel was a small Blue haired Woman and she smiled at her carefree ness. looking around, She took off silently down the streets that led to Bradbury park.

"The hospital would've been better" Kiresta mumbled as she ran "But I saw tough guy walking down there, Unless he Want's an alliance I'm avoiding him" She barely breathed as she spoke this She also didn't want to meet up with Bratt-girl, but The park might hold food.

Quietly she followed the street's to Bradbury Park.

Sarah Wisely

What can go wrong will go wrong.

Sarah had just read an interesting article about Murphy's Law and this happened. She didn't believe initially that she had died, but things were changing very quickly. It seemed that most of the passengers shared the same belief and were protesting for the most part... While this angel "Gabriel" explained the "game", so calmly and gracefully.

Then all of a sudden things just took a swift turn for the worst. A person dies again and his murderer gains points for that. That fact was only exacerbated by the fact she escaped. Then everyone begins rushing for their phones. She hadn't thought it would be of any real importance to know who her fellow participants were then. Sarah regretted it.

Nevertheless, swinging with the turn of events, she grabbed the nearest phone and broke into a sprint towards the route that the murderer did not take. It seemed that several people were on the same road, but she ignored them, running ahead. Hopefully these people will not hurt her as she dashed for cover.

Her heart was thumping so fast she could barely tell if it were due to fear or to physical exertion. Making it to a building at the other end from the train station, she quickly moved around to the back of the building, pulling out the phone.

Glancing down at her phone, she sees a small, brown-haired boy. He was wearing a black jacket over something orange. She couldn't care less. Still panting for breath, she clutched her chest as she struggled to stop trembling. She didn't know what's happening, but she certainly don't want to know.

Yet try as she might, the memory of Gabriel's words rang true. She was in the game; in this Citadel City. It seemed she had only one way to escape... One way she simply could not take.

Lafiel Gremory-Laffinty

And yet, it begins... again.

And so.... another batch has arrived... Quite a large variety as well with a few... ruthless ones....

There was always a few of those, even before the game forces them. Always looking out for number one. It was a given, really, considering the self preserving nature of humans. Still, Lafiel had hoped the first death did not occur so fast. It was literally seconds after disembarking. From her stand point, Lafiel could see the red splash of colour against the grey concrete platform. Internally, Lafiel's maid side was urging her to clean up the mess somehow, but there was much more important things to do than mere house keeping. With a single step forward, Lafiel entered a speeding freefall, rocketing forward. If anyone had seen her, they'd think that there was going to be a second death already, but instead, with half a meter to spare, the young woman's speed and fall abruptly stopped, as if she was never moving at all. Rather than becoming a ground pizza, Lafiel stepped onto the ground next to Gabriel as if she stepped off the walkway and onto the road.

Greetings, Master Gabriel. I am afraid i have missed meeting a large portion of this session's group. How are they? Is there any need or special care that i should come to attention?

Now that she was down here, Lafiel could see the body more clearly. It was a single gunshot to the head. The intention was to kill without room for error. Something told Lafiel that this run was going to be quick, hard and ruthless.

Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, X grabbed a cell phone - for all intents and purposes at random - and walked casually down the nearest alleyway hoping to draw as little attention to himself as possible. The callousness of the girl shooting the young man surprised him, but only momentarily. He had seen some pretty twisted things in his life, many of them performed by humans who were demented enough to make people think they were possessed by demons.

Once he felt he was a safe distance away, he looked closer at the cell phone. A number was already programmed into the phone's dialer. X pressed 'Send' and let it ring.

"..... *yawn*..... Hello?"

"Where am I?"

"..... Citadel City, most likely."

"Yes, thank you, I figured that part out. Where am I in Citadel City?"

" *yawn*... There's an App for that."

"A wha-... oh... Ok, hold on." X brought up the menu on the phone and went to the Applications. Sure enough, he brought up a map of Citadel City on the phone's screen. A green dot signified his location. He appeared to be heading toward the Slums. Oh good, he thought. Perhaps my lodgings at the Hilton will have been reserved for me. He returned to the call.

"Still there?"

"... *yawn*... As ever. Nowhere else to be. Lucky me."

"Yeah yeah, listen. I need to get out of here."

".... .... .... Out of the games? You can't."

"Unless I kill the others."

"You got it, amigo."

"Well that's just messy."

"... *yawn* *bemused non-commital noise of agreement*"

"You're not very helpful, you know."

"... *yawn* Yet. I'm not very helpful yet. Give it time."

"Not sure how much time I have to give, pal. I'll be in touch. Go take a nap."

X hung up the phone and shoved it in the pocket of his coat. He continued down the alleyway toward the Slums. He planned to hole up for a bit and assess his situation. He felt he had somewhat of an innate advantage. These other eleven... well, ten now... people would be acting solely out of self-interest and self-preservation. Their only goal would be to survive the game and eliminate the other players. In short, they would be acting like demons. And Father X made a living hunting down demons.

He would need a weapon. And soon.

Ryu Matsuri

After getting a far enough distance away from the train station, Ryu slowed down to look at his only 'lifeline'.

Quickly looking through the contacts (which isn't hard considering the only number he had was the angel), and pressed send before listening in while walking towards the path to the hospital.Soon the phone picked up.

Jenna: Yo there?
Ryu: Hello there. Which angel's phone did I pick up.
Jenna: That would be your girl, Jenna here. What would you want to know dude?
Ryu: Apart from if it is true that the only way to get out of here is through killing others?
Jenna: That's right man.
Ryu: Okay... What about the gun that the other girl had. The head shot she did is not like any head shots I'd seen. It was too messy to be done with a handgun.
Jenna: Man, that's her ability.
Ryu: Ability?
Jenna: You know, superpowers, magic. That kind of stuff.
Ryu: Joy. What's 'wonderful' ability should I be having?
Jenna: You can send send wickedly cold ice at your enemy, like at range.
Ryu: So a somewhat impromptu gun. Better then nothing I suppose if I had to include martial arts and Swat training. Can you send me the rules and information on the others?
Jenna: Can do that man.
Ryu: Anything else I need to keep an eye out on?
Jenna: Apart from the others dude? Not much man. Just keep an eye out for those things man. They are super freaky.

The phone died as Ryu looked at it.

"Things? So the 11 humans and 1 angel is not the only thing we have to worry about?" Ryu muttered as he heard a beep.

Opening the inbox, Ryu saw the information Jenna sent. (OCC: We all know said message. Incorporating the FFF inbox time. XD) Quickly looking over the information, Ryu turned the map back on and saw that while he was running and walking, he was just about roughly a third of the way there. Groaning while putting the phone into his pocket, Ryu started running again.

After walking quite a while, Alyss picked up her phone and realized she had a message. As soon as she opened it, it played without her wanting to start it. “Why hello there! My name is Cora and I’ll be your personal killin-well rather you’ll be my killing machine to be honest. I don’t care if you win the competition or not just show me some blood spatter and everything will be peachy. If not I’ll kill you myself just for the satisfaction. Rules and regulations as well as opponent files are in the Afterlife database. So far you have a measly 21 points. Study the weaknesses of those twerps and shred them limb from limb. I want a good blood bath yahear?”

Alyss had said it plenty of times before, but it really was sheer lunacy. “You cannot be serious. I cannot do things like that. Look at me, I am tiny and I have no idea where to even begin. I simply cannot kill someone. You have the wrong person; I want to go home… Can I not speak to someone about this?” There was no answer for the longest time. She did nothing else but walk forward to the park. From the looks of things she was nearing the bridge that would take she would have to cross to take her there.

Citadel City looked like a rundown mess of a post-apocalyptic movie gone wrong. She half expected The Road Warrior to appear from behind a building and start chasing after her. It probably wouldn’t even be the strangest thing to happen in one day. As she walked she continued playing with the phone. She familiarized herself with the “rules” of the game. Just as Gabriel had said, she did have a chance to get back to her normal life. However, in order to do so, she would have to kill.

While she did want there to be some other way, that simply didn’t appear to be the case at all. There were many other options other than being given back life. For example, she could be a “Reaper”. Apparently they lived in the city somewhere, and had access to power. It didn’t seem like a bad deal, and she would only need 30 points. With her current points she could either… be reduced to nothing, which scared her completely, or be sent to Hell… which scared her slightly less, but still quite a bit.

“Reaper it is then…” She muttered to herself. Alyss didn’t enjoy people all that much. However, even with that she couldn’t bring herself to kill someone. Not like that other girl did. In theory it was as easy as pulling a trigger, but in reality she was condemning someone to death. She shook her head at the thought. What she needed was a weapon and a place to hide. Perhaps an ambush would be in order? Once again she found herself shaking her head. In a game such as this she was completely out of her element.

What was she to do when things got heated? She couldn’t run forever. She couldn’t kill anyone either. “I suppose I will just have to cross that bridge when I get to it.” If she continued thinking along those lines she was bound to put herself into a stress induced heart attack. As she started walking across the bridge to the park, she ran her fingers through her hair. It was getting a bit frizzy from the humidity in the city. At that moment she would have gladly killed for a nice shower.

As she thought about it, she realized that she would kill if she had to. She could deal with the consequences later. After all, they were inferior to her. They were not rich, they probably weren’t even educated properly, and if anyone deserved to get to go back home it was her, not them! Most people would have never said things like that, but then again, they were not detached from most people like Alyss was. She did not view them as people because she could not comprehend the fact that they had emotions and feelings like she did.

In the end it was logical. Would they hesitate to kill her if placed in a situation to kill? Probably not. No one ever did. Most certainly not lower class people such as them… why would they? Alyss picked up her phone and spoke into it. “Cora, was it? You… you will help me with this, right? If you want blood I will need your help. I cannot do it alone…” Once again, there was a rather long silence. “Of course, dear.” Alyss smiled for the first time since she got off the train. There was something comforting about hearing Cora say that… even if the entire situation was quite the opposite.

Day 1 - 2pm

Luci Ferno & Tia Wang

"Like...where the heck are we?" Luci spoke as she and the small child walked around a mass of abandoned buildings toward a bridge leading to an island.

"난 당신을 좋아하지 않아." Tia mumbled to herself before keeping an eye out.

"Like I'm, like seriously tired of running. Like my feet are hurting so bad." Luci whined.

"Food?" Tia asked pointing toward an abandoned diner on the other side of the worn street on which they ran.

"Oh! Thank GAWD!" Luci cheered after hearing the small girl point it out.

The two headed inside but only saw empty barstools and dusty seating all around. "Like you think there's like, any food in the back?"

"Xiao, 내가 그녀를 죽일까요? 이 여자는 정말 바보입니다. 그녀는 정말 시끄러운입니다." Tia spoke to her Angel.

"Oh Tia! 그녀는 또한 좋은 산만입니다. 당신이 잡히면 그녀는 다른 사람을 혼란시킬 수있다. 당신은 피난처를 만들어야합니다." chimed the small girl's angel reply.

"Like, I don't see any food in the back." Luci's voice rang out from the back kitchen.

Small tia began to barricade the doors of the diner. "Hey! Like little Ting Ting what are you like, stop!" Luci spoke frustrated as she began undoing everything the small little girl had worked to build.

"Shelter." Tia spoke in a panic.

Luci stopped. "Oh. Little Ting Woo is smarter than she looks." Luci spoke realizing the girl's plan. "I should have known, like all asian people are smart."

"...Ting Woo?"Tia mumbled in reply as the two set up barricades in the empty diner to make it their hideout for now.

Clarissa Montague & Romeo Willis

"An alliance? Are you out of your mind?" Clarissa spoke as she walked across the eastern bridge. "Everyone is out here killing off each other. You're lucky I don't blow your head off as well."

"Aye yo that's not cool. I'm just askin you to think about it!" Romeo replied following behind Clarissa on the East side bridge. "Aint nobody realize that 20 points x 12 people means over 200 points."

"Your point is?" Clarissa spoke holding her pistol tightly as she watched the road behind them before carrying on forward to cross.

"Yo can't you see? That's like 200 points for me an you to split! Yo we both could come back to life." Romeo explained.

"Yes, if you survive that long." Clarissa spoke calmly. "Now plant it right here."

"Okay girl. You get what I'm gettin at now." Romeo spoke using his angel power to place a rune like marking upon the bridge.

"I'm not your 'girl' in the slightest. Let's just continue with the plan. Then we'll see whose coming back to life or not." Clarissa added as the two continued to spread runes on the bridge towards Dead Man's Land.

Gabriel
<music>

Gabriel stood still watching the preacher finally leave the train when his own fellow reaper came landing beside him.

Greetings, Master Gabriel. I am afraid i have missed meeting a large portion of this session's group. How are they? Is there any need or special care that i should come to attention?

"Ah well, lucky for us this one" Gabriel said turning over the dead corpses body in disgust. "Was one of those boring family man types."

"I find that young people like these make for interesting entertainment... Something about that preacher rubs me the wrong way. And then there's the curious smell of a foul demon riding in the train car." Gabriel spoke as he watched the train and it's tracks dissolve into a black smoke and then into nothingness. "I'd say we have an interesting bunch this round Lafiel"

Sir! Sir! came Gabriel's assistant throughout the headset of his own. "Oh here" he spoke handing Lafiel an identical smaller headset to wear.

I think it's been a while sir! Oh? Hi Madam Lafiel! came Gabriel's assistant throughout the headsets.

"What is it Nanicci?" Gabriel spoke.

Oh it seems the players have all gone their separate ways sir. It's been a while sir! The almighty is tiring sir!

"Right. It is about that time to handle the first food drop."

Yes sir! Oh! Madam! You will find your location to be stationed at the food drop in Bradbury Park! Sir Gabriel! Your station is near the hospital for the food drop there. There is only enough food for two people per food drop. Tell the rest that if they want food they'll have to kill those that possess it! Nanicci out!

"Alright Lafiel, we've got jobs to do. You can call me or contact me at any time. Nanicci will give you any info I pick up and vice versa. Let's move out."

As Gabriel said this he took off and seemed to glide along the ground towards the hospital district where he would hand out only two meals. "Nanicci send out the alerts on the phones".

<Kiresta>

Her Feet slammed the ground as she ran down a street. Her map said she was heading to Bradbury park, Which is good because she was terrible with directions.

Slowing down to a walk she took out her phone and looked at it. She clicked some buttons and Her "Angel" Appeared, She was short, had blue hair and seemed totally carefree. Which made kiresta smile.

Speaking quietly yet clearly she asked, "...Hello..?"

The angel was quick to respond. "Hello Master! How may I help you?"

Master? Kiresta's eyes widened at that, She made it sound like she was a slave, Still. Kiresta spoke once again,

"..May..I ask your name? I'm Kiresta...but you probably knew that.." Kiresta asked feeling foolish. She WAS Talking to a phone.

"I'm Maru Master! Is there something you need help with?" She asked. .."Master?" She added on, deeming it rude to not say master.

Kiresta thought for a moment. "Actually...Can..you explain the games in more detail to me..? please?" she asked.

"Of course Master!" Maru said. "when a group of people die, some of the souls are not sent straight to heaven or hell. they are brought here to fight for the right to live. They use their minds and brawn to over power everyone else to Live again." Maru explained. "Us angels can also give you power's when enough points are accumulated. since you have 21, I can use my first power, Make enemies Drowsy and sleepy."

Slowly taking in this Imformation Kiresta asked again. "What happens if i die?"

Maru responded, "It depends on your points Master, The amount of points you have determines your fate when killed. or the prizes you can choose from!"

"Prizes?" Kiresta asked.

"yes Master, when enough points are accumulated you can choose a prize, To return to life go to heaven hell. And so forth Master."

..."I see. thank, you so much..Maru" kiresta finished. closing her phone. Maru let out a little" No problem Master!"

continuing her pathway she thought about what she learned. People we're chosen by random and forced to fight to survive. when you killed someone, Half of their points wen't to you and the rest we're spirnkled throughout the remaining fighters.

Your angel would help you and encourage you, Sending gift's and using power's. and when you died your fate depended on the amount of points you had, Kiresta didn't Fancy being turned to nothingness, (She had deduced the fate when you had 20 or some odd points.). Sighing Kiresta straightened her Dress out, brushed back her hair and looked around. she could always use a weapon.

After a bit of scavenging she managed to find Big Rock that was reasonably sized. It would do for a little self-defence.

Kiresta started running back on track to bradbury park. She didn't know what she'd find, but it was better than wandering around aimlessly.

Her phone rung and she quickly picked it up.

"Tee hee- There's a food drop between the hospital and bradbury park!" Maru said. Kirsta froze and quickly changed her path,

Food. that's all she needed was, food and water. She would make it there first.

"MAru..Be prepared to help me.."

"Tee-hee! i always Am Master!"

Ryu Matsui

Ryu's phone rank as he was cutting through the empty streets. Grabbing the phone from his pocket, Ryu placed it to his ears.

Jenna: Yo! The reapers just gave me the locations of two food drops homie! One's in Bradbury park and the other is near the Hospital. We should totally pick one up!
Ryu: Lucky me. A food drop in route to my location. Time to get serious. They will be heading for the Hospital first since it's the closest. Cover my back. Figuratively speaking.
Jenna: Gotcha covered homie!

Putting the phone back into his pocket, Ryu spotted a garbage can with a few odds and ends sticking out of it. Laying beside it was the trash can lid. Complete with a metal handle while the lid itself was metal. Ryu picked it up. It would help a little bit in terms of defense and attack until he got to the hospital. But he would have to make due as he saw a bridge coming into view. Pulling out a map, he saw that it was the bridge leading to bradbury park.

"Great. I'm close to the location. Who will be there as well?" Ryu muttered as he continued towards the Hospital area until his phone rang once more. Picking it up, Ryu listened to what Jenna had to say.

Jenna: Homie, there's someone closing in towards the hospital area.
Ryu: Great. Tell me how to use this ability that you told me about.
Jenna: Like concentrate your hands and ice should form. It can totally form the smaller the surface area is.
Ryu: Like that will help me at the moment. Ok. If you can, notify the person coming to the hospital food drop that I want a ceasefire and an alliance with the person.
Jenna: Will do there bro.
Ryu: Thanks. Keep me posted.

Ryu hung up as his phone made a small beep. Most likely telling him that the message has been sent to the person. (OOC:You spoony. XD) With that, Ryu sped up to hopefully make it to the hospital district and his first meal.

<Kiresta>

The phone rung again flipping it open. She looked at Maru.

"Tee-Hee. i got a notice from another angel! They say a person is nearing you and want's a Ceasefire for he wants an alliance Master! Though it could be a Reaper..!"

Kiresta paused. "An alliance?" "yes, Master!"

Thinking about her options she asked MAru, "Where is he headed? The park?"

"Sort of Master!" Maru said. "He is inbetween the Hospital District and the park currently. Your closer to the hospital, you can make it there first Master!"

Kiresta nodded. "thank you, Maru. Tell him I'll meet him there. And to stay at least 3 feet away!"

"Will do Master!"

Putting the phone away she took off her top Cloak-Poncho and wrapped the Rock and a few other's in it. before tying it up. Now she had a strong bludgeoning weapon. That would work to defend her.

She then began to run off to the Hospital. Checking the Map she found out that she was going closer to the hospital all along. 'I never was good with Directions..' Kiresta thought.

(OOC: in case angels can't contact one another. i'm putting up the possibility of a Reaper playing tricks. just So I don't have to RetCon much)
