Famitsu.com has posted some of the screenshots that appeared in this week's Final Fantasy XIII feature in Weekly Famitsu. Have a look at the pics, along with translations of the site's captions, below. A few of the screens are Japanese versions of the screens Square Enix USA shared earlier in the week.
These are from Bilge Ruins. This area of Cocoon serves as a base of operations for researchers and the troops who protect them from monster attacks. The giant hand to the left is part of a giant named Atlas.
(Note: Famitsu did not specifically say if Bilge Ruins is a "town," which is one of the new features everyone is looking forward to in XIII-2.)
These shots show Noel and Serah as they arrive at Bilge Ruins (same as above, the shot at the top is from earlier in the week). They end up being surrounded by troops who Famitsu says are tasked with protecting Cocoon. Famitsu's caption points out the Moogle with Serah.
The battle screen at the top shows the "Buster and Jam" Paradigm, which combines Blaster and Jammer types. The one below shows Dual Shield, where both are Defenders, making "counter" their only attack means.
Finally, what happens when the members of Nora meet Noel and get all pissed off at how his name resembles theirs. Actually, the real reason they're angry at Noel is because he said something to them, something that he apparently said would be difficult for them to accept. So what did Noel say?
You weren't expecting the answer, were you?
