Just started playing Tales of the Abyss for the first time. I have a few Tales games but haven’t really played them properly yet - heard this one is meant to be really good.
I agree that’s the golden age though I remember struggling to adjust to listening to the voice acting in X and the way they did the world map. I feel like since then the worlds have become stale, the towns and cities don’t feel as alive as they used to be. All I want in a Final Fantasy is good...
@Meds - Ah that I remember! I'm sure on my Dvd it said '498 years later' That's when I first thought 'Hey, then why are Reno and Rude still alive?' Unless it was a mistake, I think I'm going to have to look at my DVD and see...
@Princess Bubblegum - I didn't like to think that they all died as...
That's true, I never though about that. Final Fantasy VII was made years ago and they probably had no intention of making a movie because they probably didn't know it was going to be very popular. (:
Hm, well since it's 2 years after Final Fantasy 7, its good to see that the characters still survived, so maybe the whole 500 years forward into the future is showing way beyond after Advent Children? That the earth is continueing to heal?
@Bambi - Ah I remember that. Yeah, I just remembered about it being 2 years later, but wouldn't putting 500 years later confuse people? It's confusing me, why did they comment on the years of the Nanaki tribe, instead they could of commented on the years gone by overall for ....confused >____<
MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS: -
At the end of Final Fantasy VII you see that Midgar is in ruin but you see that RedXIII has survived after the events 500 years later, then Final Fantasy Advent Children came along and the rest have the cast have survived. So how long do these characters live for? Is...
I didn't know whether to put this thread here but it is concerning Final Fantasy IX. So I keep my games in good condition, I'm ever so careful with the disks and I've learnt my lesson from when I was a child, just fumbling the disks in the cases anyhow, leaving them out, etc. So I've been so...
Once I remember seeing this long explanation that Cloud could of been chasing Jenova all throughout the game. Now I haven't played the game in a way so I might not remember most details, but what I would like to know is whether this is true. I remember fighting her on the ship to Costa Del Sol...
I call her Aeris because it's the version she was called in my country and I've been calling her that for years. I felt it was strange when they started calling her 'Aerith', I don't find it pretty as Aeris, more like a lisp. I tend to say Aerith because I don't want to get stick from others...
I'm more of a Clerith fan but I don't mind Cloti. I don't mind if they did but personally I think Cloud with end up with neither. In a way I think he had some affections with Aerith as he began to open up whilst she was around, he actually answered her questions and they had proper conversations...
Oh they're just figurines, you know like the Final Fantasy XII, VII, XIII figurines, they're usually called as Play Arts, I think. Woah! My oh my! That's awesome though, a lifesize replica!
I haven't even bothered watching the video just to save myself from getting frustrated over how immature people can get. If someone doesn't like the game, it's their opinion but sometimes when people take several methods, it's like they're trying to change people's opinions about it. In the end...
@Crimson Wolf - Yeah I believe so too. It's a shame they didn't make the mog, I think it was quite adorable! Yes, I believe his accent was irish? Yeah I believe so too, they sound similiar. Yeah it's a shame, only seven words. I guess they were just thinking about the plotline of Cloud, Kadaj...
Who is your most favourite character and why? My most favorite character would probably be Zidane and Vivi. It's quite hard to pick between the two. Zidane I have found is very refreshing from previous main characters that were quite serious and stern, he is very cheerful and when events tend to...
I don't think they were flat at all, I think they focused on each characters storyline, like why Vivi wonders about who he is, Steiners thoughts about the Queen and what he should do, even Amarant who is ignored some of the time (Even by me) is given a reason to who he is, and how Zidane and him...
I agree that they do take a long time, but we'd only know if we were to actually have insight on the gaming industry. I bet it could be really stressful if your trying to get everything perfect whilst trying to maintain impatient fans. If you get it wrong, your f---ked.
I agree with you, Rydia. I have loved Final Fantasy VII since I was a child, it was the first RPG I played, and the first Final Fantasy. When I heard Advent Children was coming out, I was really excited, I had to wait a couple of years as when I heard about it, the website was only 20% completed...
@Alak - I look on Amazon sometimes too but I don't buy my figurines from there, I usually go to TokyoToys which are quite pricey, or shall I say very pricey, and would be very much if your not in England. Kamika-Z is great site where I've brought my figurines from because their cheaper and...
