Hello there!

I'm currently on an RPG binge and naturally that includes Final Fantasy and Square as a whole, so I took a look around for some Final Fantasy forums that were still somewhat active. Hope my time here will be enjoyable.

Also, I'm not extremely familiar with the production history of most of these games and internal happenings within Square or other things of that nature, so forgive any ignorance I have towards that.

If you have any questions feel free to ask any of us on staff, we'd love to be able to help in any way we can! Otherwise I hope you find a few threads around here and take some time to revive them, they could use a good dusting!

Thank you for the warm welcome!

Currently my favorite is FFIX. It was my very first FF game, but the last time I played it was such a long time ago, I could scarcely remember much. I didn't expect to enjoy it nearly as much as I did.

As Miko says, we all have different interests and degrees of enthusiasm for the Final Fantasy franchise. My own comfort zone is the lore and real world allusions and inspirations in the franchise (mythology, literature and popular culture, etc), and not so much the history of the development of the games themselves or the Square Enix company in any deep way.
If you are worried about appearing ignorant, don't be. If you like the franchise or it has spoken to you in any way at all, then you are definitely well-qualified for here.

I hope you enjoy the site. I see you've discovered some threads already, and there are plenty more like that on here. And we welcome any discussions that we haven't thought of yet too!
