No, they are actually part of the game. They are secret bosses. I've seen all of the fights on Youtube - in fact, I'll post them in a minute.

I have it, and Re: Chain of Memories was enhanced really well.
Everything is in full 3D, and they even added voices to the characters. Goofy sounded pretty annoying though.
Plus, they made it harder(which is a good thing), the card rotation is slower than that of the original.
And they even remixed Utada's song and used that as the opening song.
They really should make a worldwide release of the game.
A lot of improvements have been made, and a lot of non-japanese people would love to play it.

Damn you for living in Japan Slashy XD You get everything before you do. Ya'll probably get things that won't get for like 10 years. All that I can say is that they'd better make it for everyone.

I wish I live in Japan, Mir.
Only way I got the game is.. lets just say the internet's a wonderful place, and my chipped PS2's a wonderful thing. 
And yeah.. they really should make a worldwide release. I'm surprise Disney isn't doing anything about that.

I haven't been playing much actually, and the only one I've been playing is the Re: Chain of Memories, on Proud.
Well.. maybe I should skip that and start on KHFM+
Kouli did a pretty good guide on it on GameFAQs, I could use that as a reference.

^ I haven't played that far yet dude, and I've skipped it after knowing that if you beat KHFM+, you'll get extra cards in Re: Chain of Memories.
So I moved over to KHFM+, finally beaten Roxas' six days!
Critical mode lives up to it's name.
