Control pad disconnecting

Its been doing it all day today and its driving me mad. I'll be in a battle in Lost Odssey and it will disconnect and the game has paused itself. I thought it was the battery, but its got 3 bars left, so it cant be that!

Anyone any idea as its really pissing me off!!!

It's possible the battery pack isn't attached well enough to your controller...but I wouldn't say it's likely. The controller is probably just garbage...like most of Microsoft's products.

I've had problems with my wireless Xbox 360 controllers in the past. The best way to end the problem is to use a wired controller...or invest in a play n' charge kit so you can attach a wire to your wireless controller.

All you gotta do is plug the controller into the running console. It'll charge as you play as long as the wire is connected to the charge pack and console.

Actually...I think you can charge the controller in the console even if it's turned off. Just gotta make sure the little light on the wire thingy is on.

If the light is red, the battery isn't fully charged...but you probably gathered as much. haha

Ah, cause me and my brother were wondering why the little light doesnt light up when its plugged up to the pad and console. It quickly lights green to show its been attached.

I just hope it isnt a faulty one as Ive not got the reciept anymore.

The light doesn't stay on???

It should definitely stay on the entire time it's plugged into the console and controller. It should either stay green to show it's fully charged, or red.

Huh...that's weird. Maybe it's still working. Just check the battery icon shown on the Xbox 360 dashboard menu after awhile to see if the controller is getting any charge.

That's a bummer. I guess now you gotta determine if it's the play n' charge kit or your controller that's faulty.

Microsoft products are garbage. If the Xbox itself isn't breaking down, the accessories are malfunctioning and dying...

Well I boguht another cable to see if that worked and I had 2 faulty cables. Took them ack to GAME and they refused to refund me even though the product is clearly faulty!!!!

They gave me 2 replacements and 1 of them doesnt work! Im refusing to open the second one in case I cant get a refund now. Im taking them back today and want a refund for the pair of them. Ive never been so angry in my life. The guy in store said they had a faulty batch in, and I just happened to have picked up 4 of them!

Beyond stupid!

That's unreal. I've had problems before, but nothing like that. haha

I'm surprised they refused to refund you your money when it's so apparent that the damn things are crap.

I guess they won't give refunds if the package has been opened? That's pretty lame. The game store I go to gives refunds in cases where the product is faulty...but only if you have a receipt and return it within 7 days.
