Connection problems. :(
I dunno if this sort of thread has been done before, but i looked around and couldn't find anything simular to this :]
I mainly play Call Of Duty 4, and for a while it was playing fine, but recently in the past 2 weeks or so, im not able to connect to any of my friends on the game. i also cant start or join a private chat either, so im not sure if its just Call Of Duty or my actual internet connection.
Also when i finally join a game, after waiting around 5 minutes, i seem to always be the host. Im always the first one in the lobby and i have to wait for people to join me.
Does anyone know if this is a problem with my Xbox/Internet or if the 360 is just sucky?
:]
Im seriously thinking of trading it in for a PS3. -.-'

I'd call Microsoft or the Xbox live hotline or something and try and figure it out. Perhaps also try playing a different game and seeing if you have the same problem.

I think it's your Internet Connection, because the same thing happened to me while playing Call of Duty 4 in my uncle's PS3, and the reason for our problem was indeed our Internet Connection.

I've had similar problems myself. I'd try disconnecting and reconnecting your router. If you've got the router sending signals to multiple units (other consoles, computers, etc), then it weakens the strength of the signal your Xbox receives. Just an idea. If you've got a bunch of other stuff connected to the internet, then shut 'em off while playing Xbox Live.
You should take the players you're trying to connect to into consideration as well. It's possible that it's their connection causing difficulties.

Whenever I have connection problems the first thing I do is run downstairs and make sure no one's using the computer. That will usually make me lag like hell or just plain 'ole kick me out of whatever I'm doing. We have high-speed internet too, so that's not a problem.
Usually there's tons of info and help online, because when you call Microsoft a lot of times, you can't understand a word the operater dude or chick is saying.
