I don’t like our government.

We have no clear cut of good and bad anymore

We have bad guys with badges
and the good guys selling drugs
The people paying taxes
While the presidents planting bugs.

I walked down the street and noticed a lot of shit.
Just by paying attention i got pissed.

A little girl sitting on the steps
while crying and calling for her mom
A guy stumble out the bar
and immediatly get in his car

But....the cops do nothing but drive by.
I can’t believe I have to stand for this shit.

Tell the parents of the child he hit
that you were too busy to stop
she won’t be back to hold you close
cuz you were a bad guy/but a good cop?

Whats this world that we live in?
where we have
governments that take ours
seniors in sports cars
churches that support bars
you know we can only go so far

A land of hatred
A land of intolerence
A land of hypocrites

I try to close my eyes
or look up to the sky
but don’t know when its my time
to drop the bomb on these stars

Even our children can dress up like hoes
paint their fingers and toes
and wear little to minimum clothes
and watch all the date shows.

Im tired. lost, hated, and tossed.
Ive given, taken, found, and searched

but im still looking for that something we’ve missed...

Depression takes ahold like deaths cold grip.
I take these pills to try to escape, and then i tie the slip
Trusting others, my heart ripped out through my back.
Believed in myself, and I feel like i was kicked in the sack.

I can feel the chair tremble as i climb on top
Only a few more moments, and this burning will stop.
I put the final knot in, as i place it on like a tie.
I can't stop shaking as i give out a cry

Its almost over now, i place my feet on the edge.
just a few more seconds, and i will be placed in my bed.
Now the tears are rolling, and my fist clench into balls.
As i take my final step, I can feel the ro.....................................
