This fan fiction is set after the events of KH2. It is going to have a bit of Sora x Kairi, and, if I decide to bring them into it, Roxas x Naminé

Kingdom Hearts
Stand Together

Sora left his house his and closed the door behind. Dressed in his school attire with his red and black backpack. His school attire was a white shirt with the top 2 buttons undone and untucked, the light blue school tie, blue jeans, and brown school shoes.

Sora walked down the front garden path and then walked up the road. It was then he heard a familiar voice.

"Sora!" A young female voice shouted,
Sora turned around and saw Kairi waving at him, dressed in her school uniform, "Hey Kairi!" Sora waved back,
Kairi ran up the road to catch up with her friend. She eventually caught up with Sora and smiled, "Hi Sora, mind if I walk with you?"
"Yeah sure," Sora smiled.

Sora then turned back to the way he was walking, and both him and Kairi began making their way to school. The two both talked for a while about school, home lives, and homework.

Kairi then changed the subject, "Sora...I'm sorry," Kairi then looked saddened and stared at the ground,
"Hmm...What about?" Sora asked whilst trying to see look at Kairi's face,
"Me forgetting about you...I feel awful about it, it's still been bothering me. How could I forget someone like you..." Kairi answered, and then looked back at Sora,
Sora then went slightly quiet and looked slightly to the left of the direction they were walking, he then looked back at Kairi and smiled, "It's okay,"
Kairi then smiled back. She began thinking then asked, "It must be nice being back here after everything you went through."
Sora then laughed, "It's calmer, definitely." Sora then started wondering, "Say...have you seen Riku?
"Come to think of it, no, I haven't seen him...he is usually making his way to school at this time." Kairi answered,
"Hmm...eh, he's probably ill or something." Sora then placed both hands behind his head,
"Oh come on, It's Riku! I'm pretty sure he wouldn't let an illness get the better of him!" Kairi laughed,
"He's probably running a little bit late then." Sora shrugged,
"We'll see when we get to class..." Kairi sighed.

Sora and Kairi arrived at their classroom. Inside the class was Selphie, Wakka, Tidus, and a few other students.

"...He isn't in class either." Kairi pointed out,
"Why you letting it bother you so much?" Sora sighed,
"It's just unlike Riku not to come in!" Kairi said

Sora shook his head, and then went to sit down in the 3rd row on the seat next to the window, whilst Kairi sat in the 2nd row in front of him. Sora placed his bag under the table, and then rested his head on his right hand. Kairi got a book out of her bag, put her bag under the table, and then opened the book and began reading. Eventually, the door opened, and walked in the teacher, the blonde, young, yet intelligent teacher, Ms Quistis Trepe. Ms Trepe was holding two books in her left hand. She walked to her desk and placed the books on it.

"Good morning class," Ms Trepe smiled, "I trust you all rested well. Remember, sleep is important!" Ms Trepe then got a piece of chalk from a pot on the desk and wrote the date on the board, "Now, today, I wanna give you a keyword I'd like you all to think about during the course of the day!"
The class moaned, "Again!?"
Ms Trepe finished writing the date, "Yes, again. I understand it might not be the funnest of tasks, but things like this will help you all on the path of adulthood! Now, I'm going to tell you all this keyword, you will all think about it, and tommorow, we will all compare notes!" Ms Trepe then wrote the keyword on the board, "I'm gonna say this for those who say they can't read, that way, no one here today has an excuse not to do it...Tidus..." Ms Trepe pointed out
Tidus sighed, "Aww Ms Trepe...no need to point me out..."
"Right then," Ms Trepe finished writing the keyword, she the turned around to face the class, then stepped to the right, revealing the word, "The keyword of the day is Pride. Keep that in mind everyone!"
The class answered, "Yes Ms Trepe..."
"Fantastic," Ms Trepe then sat down at her desk "With that then, let's take the register!"

Later that day at lunchtime, Sora and Kairi were in the canteen, they sat next to each other.

"Still no sign of Riku." Kairi sighed,
"Why is it bugging you so much?" Sora asked,
Kairi began looking angry "...I'm worried because I'm scared after what happened!" She shouted. Everyone in the kitchen looked at her, "I'm scared that everytime I see you two could be the last! I'm scared you'll be carried away to another world again by some heartless, or nobody, or some Organisation XIII wannabes! I don't want you two to leave again!"

Sora had never seen Kairi like this before...he didn't know she felt that way. Of course all what took place was scary, especially with them being the age they were when it all started, even now some may consider them as too young. Everyone in the canteen was looking at Kairi, confused faces not having a clue what she was talking about. Some just turned back to what they were doing, merely thinking she's going mad or rehearsing a play. Kairi looked at the table, a tear ran down her cheek.

"I...I just need a moment, sorry..." Kairi then stood up and walked out of the canteen.

Sora watched as she left, and he couldn't help but feel partly to blame for Kairi's sadness, despite the point that he could not control his destiny.

"Sora, what happened?" A male voice said,
Sora turned around and saw Riku in a school uniform, which Riku wore in the same way as Sora did, "Riku! Where have you been!? You not being here is what started this!"
Riku sat down where Kairi sat, "I just got here, something happened at home. But regardless, what happened?"
Sora looked at the table "...She was worried you went off to another world again or something."
Riku raised an eyebrow, even though his hair covered his eyes, Sora could still tell, Riku eventually said, "Well, let's go find her."
Sora nodded, "Right!"

Both Sora and Riku then left the canteen. They tried searching for Kairi, and in order to cover the school and speed up the process, they decided to split up and each search half of the school. Sora checking the west, and Riku checking the East.

15 minutes had gone by. Sora only had three areas left to search, two classrooms, and the Quad. Instinct told Sora that Kairi would most likely be in the Quad, so he decided to check there first.

Usually, the Quad has at least 3 groups of friends in it, but upon Sora's entry, no one could be found...Sora found this slightly suspicious, he walked slowly to the centre of the Quad, looking around the area as he did so. When Sora got to the middle, he stopped walking, and took another look around.

What's going on here...? Sora thought to himself,

Sora then heard a weird noise...it sounded familiar...like the fidgetting of the Shadows...the sound came from below him. He looked down and noticed darkness growing on the ground he was standing on. Sora gasped and then quickly jumped off.

"It's been a while..." Sora then summoned his Keyblade, "...Since I've had to use this."

The shadow grew bigger and bigger, and then it started rising...Sora tightened his grip on his keyblade...As the darkness rose higher, it started to form a familiar shape...Darkside...
