INTRO

OVERVIEW: Final Fantasy XIV is kind of an inspiration from both Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. The story focuses around the four elements; fire, water, earth, and wind and sub- elements lightning and ice. It revolves equally around the two factions, light and darkness. The main power of these elements are harnessed into gems unique to each element and faction; Ruby of Fire, Onyx of Earth, Sapphire of Water, Emerald of Wind, Diamond of Light, and Amethyst of Darkness.

FACTIONS: The Aduro faction is the faction of light, similar to that of AVALANCHE in Final Fantasy VII. The Atrum faction is the faction of darkness. They are the sworn enemies of the Aduro. The Malus faction is the faction of true evil. They are the common enemy of both the Aduro and the Atrum. They will stop at nothing for world domination.

CHARACTERS:

Levi/Male/18/Aduro/Levi is the hero of the story. He fights with the legendary sword, Visiobon. He has a positive, leadership additude. He has long, blonde hair. He is a freelancer.

Victoria/Female/16/Aduro/Victoria is an attractive young woman. She is very skilled in white magic, and wishes to become a sage by studying black magic. She has long, brown hair.

Lance/Male/20/Aduro/Lance has been Levi's close friend since childhood. He fights with a spear along side his dragon, Proficio.

Altus/Male/18/Atrum/Altus is a very mysterious man who always wears the hood on his Atrum uniform: black, lose hoody with black pants with chains: up. The only thing you usually see is his face. He fights with the counterpart of Levi's Visiobon, Atrox. He is no doubt the most powerful dark knight ever.

Alicia/Female/17/Atrum/Alicia wears her hood down, revealing her serious expression and long black hair. She has a gothic personality, and an obvious crush on Altus. She is skilled in black magic, and too hopes to become a sage by studying white magic.

Orbis/Male/16/Atrum/Orbis switches between hood up and down. He has an obnoxious, but cool personality. He fights with two four- pointed shurikens, therefore he is a ninja.

Malverus/Male/20/Malus/Malus is pure evil. He is the most hateable thing there is. He has the powers of every job there is.

Landon/Male/18/Malus/Has a flaming rivalry between Orbis and Lance. He has a personality similar to Orbis'. He fights with all kinds of magic and a short, one handed sword. His job is unknown.

LOCATIONS:
Mainland: In the center of the world, it's divided in two by a mountain chain. It's also home to the Shrine of Elements, where the gems rightfully belong.

Incendia: Where the ruby resides, it's locate southeast of the mainland and is mostly flat except for the volcanoe which I will later name.

Unda: Directly south of the mainland, it's more of a group of islands. It's where the sapphire resides.

Terra: Known for it's unpredictable terrain consisting of deserts, plains, canyons, and mountains. Many of it's cities can only be accessed by those who know the land well. This is where the onyx resides. It is directly northeast of the mainland, and is the largest region of all.

Ventus: A very mountainous terrain where alps reach past the clouds. Without the systems of bridges build by the locals, these mountains could take weeks to navigate. They hide the emerald well. It is northwest of the mainland.

Visio Homeland: A place for refugees when their home cities are destroyed. It is the base for the Aduro faction and the home of the Santuary of Light. It is distantly west of the mainland.

Atrum Isle: An uninhabbited island northeast of Terra. Shaped like a crescent moon, it is the home for the Atrum faction. It also houses the Ruins of Darkness.


Those are some things you should know before I start the story, but before I do, I want to make sure people don't think it's horrible. When at least one person likes the concept or suggests more, I'll post more.

NOTE: When (N) appears beside a characters name, that means they are narrarating in that line.

CHAPTER 1- The Light is Born

Levi(N): I remeber how this all started. It was a day like any other. Until the big news arrived. Many villages near us had been destroyed by a powerful beast. Nobody knows why. Few had survived. We knew we were next.

Levi's Mom: Levi! It's nearly dusk. Come into the town shelter. We fear that "it" will attack tonight.

Levi and his close friend Lance were playing soccer in the field. With no hesitation, he picked up the ball and raced Landon to the shelter. Though they were almost adults, they couldn't help but act like kids.

Victoria: You two are so immature. If you ever want to be pro players, your gonna have to grow up sometime.

Levi: Were only kids for so long.

Lance: 18 short year. Only one left.

Victoria: Yeah well you're only supposed to be 5 when you're 5. (She snickered and walked into the shelter)

Levi: I wish I could get outta Occasus. My whole life I've only seen a mile of the world. I've never left. I wanta see some place new for a change. It's like, I wouldn't mind if that beast destroyed our home.

Lance: We're not allowed to leave, without the mayor's permission. And wanting to see the world isn't really a valid excuse.

Levi: But haven't you always wanted to see something? Like where Proficio goes every year about this time? What he does? Where his home is?

Lance: My father told me the merchant got him in Terra. It's just north of here you know. It probably isn't a days walk away.

Levi: Exactly! We could find Proficio! And you can finally meet his family. All of my life, the only creatures I've seen are rats, birds, and Proficio. If we get outta here, we can see all kinds of creatures!

Lance: Well...

Levi's Mom: WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING? GET INSIDE IMMEDIATELY!!! IT COMES TONIGHT!

Later that night, Levi could not sleep. He lay awake all night long, waiting for his ticket out of Occasus. Around midnight, he heard groaning noises and large footsteps. He head to the door and peaked his head out. On the horizon was a huge monster. Larger than the mountains. He approached the village slowly. When he was about an acre from the shelter, he stopped. Levi slowly stepped out of the shelter approaching the beast fearlessly. As he rounded around it, he saw that the beast had not stopped, but time had frozen. He walked up to an airship in the fields. He found the keys in, and the autopilot engaged. Suddenly, it took off and headed for the mountains. Eventually, he ended up in The Shrine of Elements, a sacred divide between the twin cities, Occasus and Orien. He walked up the the top. A woman's voice greeted him, but nobdy was there.

Voice: Listen well. This shrine is home the the balance of the world, the six Gems of the Elements. That beast was born from chaos power, brought by reversing Yin and Yang. The gems were stolen from here and put back in their original temples. The problem is, the temples are not Yin and Yang in placement, so chaos power was born to the wielder of the Elemental Orb. I present to you this weapon. (A sword falls from the sky, whitish yellow with feathers attached to the handle and decorative rope hanging from the top.) This sword, Visiobon, is the sword of light. It may only be wield by you and the wielder of the Elemental Orb. So be careful. Another sword just as powerful exists, called Atrox, the sword of darkness. When the two swords are combined, they are invincible. So good look to you great warrior of the light...

Levi: That voice... it sounds like...

Victoria: (appears on opposite side of the shrine) Levi.

Levi: Victoria?

Chapter 2: The Darkness Plots
Meanwhile Northeast on Atrum Isle, the Atrum were holding a meeting in their living room which over looked the horizon towards the Mainland and Terra. Orbis lay on the couch, Alicia roamed the room, and Altus stared out the one way window.

Altus: It's back. I sense that the Goliath has attacked yet again.

Alicia: This Goliath seems to be on a rampage. First it was Oriens and now what?

Orbis: I heard rumors that Ocassus was next.

Altus: Occasus, has been destroyed, but the people don't know that yet. Everything around Occasus is under a stopja spell. Only the most powerful of magicians could execute it.

Alicia: Is it..?

Altus: Yes. I'm afraid Malverus is behind this.

Orbis: But I thought he was banished from this world to perish in deep space?

Altus: He is very powerful being of both light and darkness. He can do just about anything.

Alicia: What's to be done about the Goliath?

Altus: That stopja spell will wear off in about an hour. We'll prepare the airship for it's journey to Occasus. There, we'll defeat the Goliath.

Orbis: (He rose off the couch) Finally! A good fight. Do you know how long I've been waiting for this?

Alicia: But how do we break through the stopja spell?

Altus: We'll let it wear off. It takes about 45 minutes to get to the Mainland from here. By the time the airship is ready, We should be there about 5 minute early.

15 minutes later, the airship took off and headed for Occasus.

Chapter 3- The Birth of Aduro

Back at the Shrine of the Elements

Victoria: Surprise!

Levi: What the hell's going on!?

Victoria: (sighs) All my life I've lived in Occasus. Just for this moment to come. You are the warrior of light. You are destined to wield that sword, Visiobon, and team up with the warrior of darkness, the one who wields Atrox, to defeat the Ultima Weapon wielded by Malverus.

Levi: Who's that?

Victoria: True evil. He controls both light and darkness to blend into chaos and that beast known as the Goliath. You see, he's the one who took the gems back to their original temples. By doing that, he created chaos. Chaos is not only disorder, it is power, a mixture of light and dark. And whats worse, if he returns the gems to this shrine in reverse order, the whole world will reverse itself. The world will turn to darkness as space turns to light and and the ultimate beast is born.

Levi: And I'm supposed to stop this how?

Victoria: I will join you along with Lance. We when the stopja spell lifts, he would have awaken and followed you here. We will travel the world gathering the gems returning them to the shrine. By doing that, chaos will be weakened and you will be granted ultimate power along with the warrior of darkness. It should be enough to defeat Malverus. We will need to team up with the warrior of darkness. However, he despises Visiobon, so it will not be easy to convince him.

Levi: Who is this warrior of darkness?

Victoria: His name is Altus. He wields Atrox. He resides on Atrum Isle and is the leader of a group he calls Atrum. They harness the powers of darkness and fight.

Levi: So we gotta convince them to join us, eh? Shouldn't be too hard. (Draws sword)

Victoria: PLEASE! I beg of you. Be careful. Altus is powerful dark knight. He could take you out in a few blows.

Lance: I'd like to see'm try.

Victoria: But, how did you break the stopja spell?

Lance: Please, I'm a trained combat fighter too! I got a time proof braclet on that prevents time magic from working on me.

Victoria: I'm impressed. I never knew you were a combat fighter.

Levi: Uh, why is that thing moving... towards us!!!

Victoria: Looks like times up. Ready Aduros?

Lance: Cool! Our own name!
