The following story is a novelisation of Final Fantasy 7, as hosted on FanFiction.net. Since the story is so vast I will not be posting individual chapters here, but posting the links to the instalments on FF.net. The story is still a work-in-progress.

I warn everyone now that I use the original game script for this fiction. I want no flames regarding this. The fic was started as a means of practicing my writing, and I saw no reason to change the script, which to me IS the story. This fic has been very well received on all the sites I have submitted it to, so please look at it with an open mind and consider the effort I put into writing battles and original script.

Also please bear in mind that I was 18 when I started writing this fic. I'm 21 now, so my writing has changed a little between the instalments. Hence why the first chapters seem a little more immature than my later chapters.

I have added a disclaimer to the opening chapters of each of the instalments, but for the sake of pressing the point further, here it is again:

Emerald, Princess of Vernea does not own Final Fantasy 7 and is not associated with it or its creators in anyway. This is a novelisation of the text (writing up these things is a hobby), and Emerald only lays claim to the written form and original dialogue that does not appear in the game. Everything else is copyrighted to Squaresoft, the creators of Final Fantasy 7.

Heh, I do specialise in long-running things. I was worried at first about the length and the time it'd take to complete, but so far everyone's okay with it. At first one person said my chapters were too short, and then later someone else said they're too long! I always aim at at least 4000 words per chapter, with the odd exception.

Of Final Fantasy? Yeah. The only other fics I've written are Yu-Gi-Oh! based, and they're angst and shonen ai. The only other thing I'm writing is my novel.
