A little, yes. He'll always still feel guilty for letting her slip away, but he'll learn in time that some things cannot be avoided. Julius will eventually get over her death, yet he'll still be reminded of it.
And speaking of which, I've edited this post to say that I'm going to be putting a playlist on the first post. Without music, I can't write and I think I'd like to let you know what music goes with what chapter whenever I'm writing. You like?
