Zeria looked at the one who introduced himself as Wylliam Morgan. He seemed rather arrogant too, which highly annoyed her. Her voice spoke with no kindness or trust towards him, for she knew not who he was. He had not been there when she'd gone to sleep.

"No, I've not heard of you, nor do I wish too. My journey is to find the man I'm searching for and that only. What happens to one such as you in none of my concern"

At that, she turned away and leapt up into a tree, relaxing and staring at the sky. The sunlight cast a glow on her pale skin and illuminated the shimmer on her lips and in her eyes. A remarkable beauty, and hidden behind the anger and sorrow lied a truly kind soul.

"Julius......where are you.....?"

Cairn was awaken by the first rays of the morning sun, the gentle glimmers of light delicately touched his eyelids. Cairn opened his eyes, most people was already awake, Gade had already prepared the horses and they were just waiting for Cairn. He went out of the tent, and got on his feet slowly picking up and packing all his gear. The fire he had lit the night before had already been extinguished. As he looked all around him, Cairn prepared his mind and soul for another day, the next page of the book he called "life". Having packed and prepared all his equipment, Cairn lifted the bag and placed it on top of the horse, of course the bag was not heavy, it was quite light for the things he had packed inside it. As he walked towards the road leading to Palacious, Cairn turned to see his companions to make sure everyone was ready.

"So, are we ready to go? If we leave no we will arrive the city of Palacious in about 2 or 3 hours."

Noticing that Cairn was finally awake, Zeria hopped down from the tree with a perfect leap, landing softly on the grass. She plucked a few roses from off of the vines and sighed, tucking them into her belt.

"I'm all set. I want to see this town called Palacious...a dream told me that I would find some useful information about Sir Julius there...oh, Cairn, by the way...here..."

She pulled a deep crimson colored rose and handed it to the man with a gentle smile.

"You took time to listen to me yesterday...and gave me more hope for finding Julius. You're a wise man. Thank you..."

"No, I just did what I had to do. Now, I say we leave now, if we want to be in Palacious by noon." Cairn turns around slowly as he approaches his horse. He gently caressed the animal's head, putting it at ease the stallion. Having finished, Cairn placed his left feet on one of the ropes attached to the saddle, and slightly pushed himself up with his left leg, finally getting on the horse's back. He quickly grabbed the horse by the reins, and then he brought his eyes on Zeria, who seemed to be still lost in her thoughts. "If you wish, you may accompany us. You might find some information about him in there, if you are lucky." Cairn pulled the reins to the left, making his horse turn to the left as well until both of them were facing the path towards Palacious. Gade was already mounting his horse, and he slowly approached Cairn and stopped by his left side. "So, going back home it seems. Let's be prepared, for any situation that may happen." Gade stated firmly as he set his eyes on the road ahead. From here we could even see the walls of the glorious royal city, the center of the Kingdom of Seseu, it was truly the jewel of this land. "Hurry up everyone!" Cairn commanded as he awaited for the others to arrive. "Oh and William, Jake and Hera. If you all wish to come with us, I would be grateful, at least until we reach the royal city. Besides, I heard that one of the lords of the kingdom was hosting some kind of tournament. I am sure you will all be quite interested...."

She snapped from her line of thought and made sure all of her gear was in place. The sunlight was beginning to bother her too, heating up her leather clothing and making her get rather warm, just standing there. Zeria sighed. There was only one problem...

"I will go with you. I must....but...how am I going to keep up? I highly doubt I can run as fast as your horses, and my shadow merging only lasts so long without a break......"

She tucked a rose into her hair as well, securing it with her hair ribbon.

"I'm too weak yet to use any powers and maintain them long enough. I'm sorry"

"Well you could go with one of us. How about coming with me?" An ever courteous Cairn extended his right hand towards Zeria, offering her to get on behind him. "I am sure my stallion can take us both. Make sure you don't fall."

Zeria blushed lightly, but smiled anyway.

"Thank you very much...though I'm not used to riding a horse, I'm sure that I'll be fine, since you're the one commanding it and not me"

She laughed slightly and took his hand.
~I don't think I've ever ridden on a horse before......this could prove to be an awesome new experience. If only Julius could see me now, he'd smile like he always used to...~

In the Forest of Nadian a old man shrouded in a black cloak walks along the path. All of a sudden a band of theives appears from the bushes weilding different kinds of weapons from daggers to swords. They blocked the old man off from continuing down the path. Then a rather large man who obviously was the leader of the group then stepped foward.

"Hand over everything you got gramps."

Bellowed the large man.

A senister smaile creeped over the old mas face.

"Or what?"

The old man almost whipsered in reply.

"Or we will end you pathetic life."

Replyed the leader of the band. The rest of the group grants in agreement as they began to brandish their weapons.

"As you wish."

Says the old man as he reaches into his cloak.

"But you won't like it."

As if it where materialized from thin air a 6 foot scythe began to emerge from his cloak. A intrically designed peice of work with a black metal theat seemed to snake its way up the staff and a giant red jewel set into the curved blade.

The bandits jaws dropped as they stared at the huge jem. With a bright flash the jewel began to glow with a evil red. Every bandit then feel to knees grasping their head in agony. The jewel slowly drove each and everyone mad. Eventuly they grew so mad they turned on each other and began slaying each other as the old man began to laughed.

Once all the bandits had perished the jewels glow faded and the old placed the scythe back into his cloak and started walking down the path again.

"I am coming for you my love.......Zeria."

He said as a smile creeped across his face.

"Very well." Cairn grasped the reins tightly as he set his eyes on the city of Palacious. Knowing that Arthvader and Jonad needed some more time to get ready, Cairn told Gade to stay with them until then. "We will regroup by the Inn called "The Silver Stallion". I am sure all of you will be able to get there safely." Cairn then rode his horse at top speed, towards the royal city. As if they were driven to reach this place by fate, Cairn's noble and strong stallion galloped at top speed as they left Mount Sair behind. Several hours later, they would reach the main gates of the city, to be greeted by one of the guards posted at the gate.
