As soon as the light hit her eyes, Zeria groaned and sat up, rubbing her eyes.
"Another day to search for Julius...I guess I'd better wake up fully first..."
She stood and brushed herself off, letting her hair of the ponytail and brushing it with the comb in her pocket until it was silky smooth.
"Much better...I wonder how long the others will sleep? Maybe I'll have enough time to train..."
She walked over to a small part of the forest and closed her eyes, focusing on strengthening her earth abilities. Vines rose up and began to thicken. Then, gorgeous red roses began to blossom on those vines and emit a beautiful scent...

As the daylight approaches, Arthvader decided to approach a small part of the forest, noticing Zeria practicing some of her magic. 'Wow, she really has been practicing her magic lately. I should probably check up on her.' He thought as he was watching Zeria working on her skills. Thinking this is also a good time for him to work on his skills, Arthvader appeared towards Zeria.
"I guess those vines I saw the day before was caused by you, huh Zeria? It seems that you have improved since the last time I met you. Care to spar for a bit, just so I can see how far you really have gone?"

Zeria jumped, startled, and almost sent a vine slamming into Arthvader. Luckily, she stopped it just before it hit him.
"Arth! You startled me!....Yeah, it was my vines...I had to catch up, so I hit within Jonad's shadow..."
She sighed and left the rose covered vines there. They were beautiful.
"And unfortunately, I would spar with you, but I'm still weary from my journeys....we will have to wait...I'm sorry"

As the sun played through the trees, a breeze caused the canopy to sway and allow a sunbeam to shine directly on Wylliam's face, waking him. After a rather prolonged yawn and stretch, he looked over the side of the surprisingly comfortable branch he had used for his bed last night and found himself inches from a rather beautiful rose vine.
'Strange,' he thought, 'I don't recall that being there when I went to sleep.' Wylliam rubbed his eyes sleepily and surveyed the area. There were several other vines just like the one rather close to his makeshift bed. He then noticed two people talking in the clearing, a pretty red-headed girl and a spiky brown haired youth. Assuming them to be part of the old swordsman's party, Wylliam believed introductions were in order. He leapt down from the tree and landed about twenty feet from them.
"Not to startle you," he started hastily, knowing that startling strangers in the middle of an otherwise deserted forest while dressed and equipped for combat was a good way to meet an early end, "but if I am not wrong, the two of you are of the group travelling with that old swordsman. It was probably too late at night for him to tell you of me, but he spoke with my friends and me last night." Wylliam, in a plight of consistancy, bowed as one normally would if you expected to be very soon reliving last night's meal in reverse. "I am Wylliam Morgan, the Dragoon with the Wyvern Eye."
He mercifully ended his pose and looked at the two. "Certainly you have heard tell of my gallantry and legendary skill with a spear. Indeed, is it not affirmed by every tongue in this world that none fly higher than Wylliam?" It was, of course, not, but that wouldn't stop him from saying it. Wylliam grinned from the euphoria of his self-love. "So who, may I ask, are the two that have the honor of my comapny?"

Jonad was lucky enough to have enough of his hair fall down past his eyes, to shield for the sun.
The birds had begun to sing, and the surroundings had begun to warm up.
Steam-like smoke rose from the moist areas, as it where warmed up enough from the night.
Jonad awoke slowly, "ARGG.. Sun" he held up his hands, shielding his eyes from the sun. "Thats it, the next time i hear a rumor of the so called 'sunglasses', I'm getting some" he complained.
After a few minutes, when his eyes where more used to the sun, he got up, and brushed the dirt, and grass from his robe.
He looked around, but saw that the party was not full. The young boy was missing, and the girl from yesterday. Hopefully her wound had healed.
"Perhaps I should offer her a painkiller" Jonad mumbled to himself.
If nothing else, he was off to the river, to wash his face, and drink some clean water.

Jake pulled his head out of the water, shaking his head to dry his hair a little. He'd transformed back into a human during his night watch, and had been thinking ever since Cairn had mentioned the Dragons.
He'd thought about how he was one of the few left, how if he and Hera didn't do something quickly enough, the entire race would be destroyed. He'd thought about how much work he'd done, and how much there was left to do. No matter what, neither he nor Hera could gain any ground on Sukani; he kept heading them off at every turn, destroying race after race before they could get there to help. It was only rarely that they had managed to overtake him and keep worlds from falling.
With a cry of frustration, Jake beat his fist on the ground, making a small indentation in the ground. What could he do? Why weren't they making any headway? He shook from head to toe in anger, and he could hear his sword rattling in the sheath on his back. At least gramps had the decency to leave me be, Jake thought bitterly.
Jake heard footsteps behind him, and whirled around, unsheathing his sword and pointing it at the approaching person. He relaxed; it was one of the men who was with the group last night. With a grunt, Jake turned around and sat facing the river.
Calling over his shoulder, he asked bitterly, "So why didn't you fight last night?"

As Jonad was closing in on the river, there where one there already.
As he approached he suddenly found himself facing a massive zweihander sword.
A few seconds later, the sword user withdrew his sword, and seemed to breath lighter.
Jonad swallowed his heard back down, and walked towards the water edge.
He keeled in front of it, and cupped his hands under the clear water.
A quick splash later, and his face where completely wet.
A slight shake, and it dissapeared. The sun and the skin itself took care of the excessive moisture.
"So why didn't you fight last night?" The young boy asked. He didn't look more then around the age of 16. Yet he wielded that large sword.
"I am Jonad, a Cleric." He started as he sat down not too far from the boy. And looked towards the sky
"It has always been a forbidden act for us Clerics to use edged weapons, and attack at all if we can avoid it. My skills lie in healing, and the such, not in fighting" Jonad answered truthfully.
He lied down on his back. "Don't get me wrong, Id like to help, but in battle I'm more or less useless." Jonad sighed

"A healer, huh?" Jake said. "Well, we fight in our own ways, I guess."
Jake stood and stared over the river. "I'm Jake, a warrior from Earth. Maybe it's just me, but I can't see why you shouldn't defend yourself. Yeah, you should prevent harm if you can, but if you have to fight, shouldn't you?" He sighed. He wasn't going to try and start an argument, but there was something he needed to know.
"What if your loved ones were on the verge of death? What if you were the last one standing, the final wall between sanity and madness? What if you were the only thing that stood between preservation and destruction? Would you fight then?"

"Well, Jake, We all have our price I guess. I have ways of stopping opponents, but they require physical contact. Though, used with enough strength. I can kill someone with a single spell. I stated that it is forbidden to kill, but I never stated that one could stay by the laws at all times."
Jonad got up, and brushed of the grass from his robe.
"If all came to that, I have a few tricks that could be used, as well as a knife. Though, as I stated. My skills lied in healing. I never stated that it was all I'm capable of" he smiled to the young boy
