Zeria smiled for the first time in a while and let a few tears stream down her pale cheeks. She turned to walk away and stopped abruptly...
"Thank you.......I swore to find him. If he's dead....I will deal with it then. And if he's alive, I'm going to finally admit my feelings to him...hopefully he can return them. If not...well...then my search has been in naught but sorrowful vain..."
Zeria then sat down and pulled her medical pouch out, attempting to bandage her shoulder. She hissed once, then continued. Gods, did it hurt! But now, she wondered what Cairn's history was...he really had her intrigued and curious. She removed her gear and set it next to her, lying down on the ground and gazing up at the stars, moonlight reflecting off of her shimmering viper yellow eyes.
"Julius...."
And she drifted off to sleep...

"Yo gramps," Jake called to Hera, "Watch this!" With a roar, Jake shot his hands forward in a series of thrusts. From his hands burst forth a multitude of energy bursts; they struck a series of the fighters, dissipating them all into the shadows. A toll had been taken on Jake's energy, but hey, it was enough
Hera flew up beside Jake, holding a foe by the clothing. With a powerful thrust, Hera literally shot the foe into darkness, a small beam of energy passing through the creature from Hera's palm, shooting the thing through the chest and dissipating it.
"Don't flaunt your power, Jake," Hera cautioned.
Jake laughed derisively. "Oh yeah, like you showed nothing with that little attack?"
Hera grinned. "I haven't the slightest idea what you mean." With that, the both of them shot into combat; they drew their swords, and unleashed a flurry of combined attacks, defending each other and cutting down their foes. Their bodies were little less than a red and blue blur as they whirled around, their blades shining gold and silver before their next foe was cut down.

Cairn, sensing that perhaps their victory could have been achieved by other factors as well, felt an urge to find out the source of the power which was resonating with his own sword. Not knowing who or what it was, Cairn decided to venture the surrounding areas on his own, leaving Gade and Jonad in charge of the camp. After walking for several minutes, Cairn reached a high part of the Mt. Saer. "What creature hides within the darkness? If you hold no evil will against us, why keep your identity in secrecy?" Cairn said firmly, obviously referring to the two mysterious dragon like warriors that he believed he saw a few moments ago.

I have a voice that is my savior
Hates to love and loves to hate
I have the voice that has the knowledge
And the power to rule your fate
I hear voices crying
I see heroes dying
I taste the blood that's drying
I feel the tension rising

As he arrived at the camp, Arthvader took his time looking around the area. As he looked, he noticed what appears to be signs of a battle. after taking a look, he stopped by Gade to let him know what he's going to do.
"Gade, Sorry I'm late. I just took the time to see that a battle had recently occured. Can you inform me of the situation? I'm sure you can come up with a plan."

"What creature hides within the darkness? If you hold no evil will against us, why keep your identity in secrecy?"
Wylliam gave a start at the unexpected voice. He had been wondering what had caused the sudden mass dispersal of the dark entities, knowing he had done nothing, and was pretty sure Hera and Jake hadn't either. Holding his spear chest high and parallel to the ground, he peered through the darkness, trying to discern the source of the voice from the natural shadows. A glint of moonlight chancing to catch the speaker's blade identified him immediately as the man he, Hera, and Jake had been following since leaving Vaid. Wylliam stepped from the shadows.
"To answer your first question," Wylliam replied, lowering his spear and resuming his smile, "one human, one kinda human, and one totally inhuman being. To make amends for the second inquiry, I," he said with the same flourish he had performed for Jake (the one possible to be confused with an expression of an ill stomache), "am Wylliam Morgan, the Dragoon with the Wyvern Eye." He straightened and continued smiling his smile that radiated self-love. "No doubt you, being of this world and being so for more than one day, have heard of my reputation as the finest, most intellegent, and best looking mercenary under the employ of Seseu."
Wylliam looked back into the shadows and called out, "Jake! Hera! Its the guy at the head of the company we've been following." Then, turning to the swordsman, "I better let them introduce themselves. Just to prevent any violent reactions to their appearance, I'd like to stress that we came with absolutely no intentions of fighting you guys."

Hejaloki felt some old friends of Julius coming.
Hejaloki looks back over his shoulder at Julius, then stares back over out the window.
I need to send Zeria a message. In a dream he thought. He started a spell to send her a message.
--Dream
Hejaloki appears before Zeria in a flash of light. He appeared as he was two years ago, younger. Beside him stood a figure garbed in white and all but his eyes were covered.
"Zeria you will find your answers, but not all in Palacious."
He should her the city before vanishing again.
--
Hopefully she will figure out how to find him even though he looks elderly and aged.

OOC: o..k... This was a lot to work on.
I might miss details, so don't kill me ^^
----------------------------
Jonad was in luck, the others took care of most of the creatures, Cairn even defeated the master.
Jonad was not one of edged weapons, his knife is merely a tool, not used in battle. Also, it was a gift from a friend.
After the battle was completed, the new girl introduced herself, and indeed had a reason to follow.
She bandaged a wound on her shoulder, and seem to fall asleep from the ordeal that happened.
Jonad felt that he had been more or less useless in the battle. All he could do, was stand and watch.
Cairn and Gade had dome a lot on the battle, and they seemed to he rather proud of themselves, indeed they had reason, but still.
Jonad walked over to the now sleeping girl, his hand glowed light green as he put it gently on the wound. He should not feel any pain from this treatment. Her shoulder started glowing slightly, if she felt anything, she should feel a warm feeling, nothing more.
A few seconds later, Jonad was sure that he had closed it, but did not take the chance to check. Since that would require him to remove the bandage, and perhaps awake the girl.
In stead, he let it be, if the wound was not completely closed, it should be nothing more left then a scratch, not bleeding, perhaps slight tenderness.
Nothing he couldn't fix the next day.
Still feeling useless, Jonad looked around. Cairn, Gade and the new girls had done a lot in this battle, Jonad had done nothing to mention.
He knew that battle was not his strength. But he should have done something.
He let out a deep sigh, and walked away, and sat down against a nearby tree. "Is this what I'm capable of in battle? Stand and watch" he thought to himself, and looked at his feet. "I should just make them some healing pills, and stop encumbering them" He continued blaming himself, for no real reason, but be felt like he let them down.

"Well Arthvader" Gade said as he sat down next to the tent and the fire, he was preparing his tools to prepare some food "We could take turns to watch over while the other's sleep. If you want, you could take the first turn, or the second if you need some rest."
Meanwhile, Cairn had an encounter with a group of mysterious warriors; a human and two dragon like beings. Surprised, he took a defensive position just to make sure he wasn't caught off guard again. The man introduce himself as "Wiliam", a mercenary hired by the kingdom of Seseu. Though confused, the man's words seemed to be trustworthy, for he had seen truth in his eyes. Smirking, Cairn stared at the moon above and soon brought his eyes down upon the knight William, and his companions. "Yes, I remember your name, though I never thought I would ever see you again. You were part of another unit, hence why I never had a chance to meet you back when I was part of the Royal Knights of Seseu." Cairn sighed disappointed to see that much of the old kingdom he knew seemed to be lost, enshrouded by a veil of mysteries and lies. Completely unaffected by these beings appearance, nor of their apparent threatening power. Intrigued since dragon based races area a rarity nowadays, Cairn walked toward tree, folded his arms and then leaned his back against the tree. "So dragons....strange....I thought your race existed only in myths and legends...ever since most dragons seemed to have disappeared hundreds of years ago..."

Zeria saw the dream and moaned softly, rolling over in her sleep.
~Who...was that? He looked so familiar....and he said that my answers wouldn't all be in Palacious. And that place...will I find Julius there? And what was that warmth? My shoulder doesn't hurt anymore....could it have been Cairn? Or was it one of the others?~
Her sleep grew calm once more and she even smiled, picturing the times of her and the others back at the academy. All of the laughter, all of the tears, all of the missions...everybody's faces too...
"Julius..."
Guess she spoke in her sleep. It seemed that now she was having a dream about her and Julius together...
~If only this dream were reality...then I'd feel true happiness..."

Jake looked forlorn at the mention of the Dragons. Hera placed a hand on his shoulder, and looked at the one who had earlier introduced himself as Cairn.
"Well," Hera explained slowly, "The Dragons are...being hunted. They've been driven into hiding. Most of them are hiding on Earth, but there are others through the universe as well." Jake walked away. He was not usually one given to grief like this.
Jake jumped up onto a tree. "I'll keep first watch," he announced. "You guys get some rest."
Hera threw an apologetic glance at Cairn, the kind that says, 'Sorry, but can you give us some time?' With a leap, he landed beside Jake. Jake promptly turned away, looking off into the distance.
"Jake," Hera said quietly, "look, you're not the last. You've seen others."
"Yes, but how many others, Hera?" Jake hissed. "There are only a few thousand left on Earth, and there are only a few hundred more each planet we go to. We'll never be able to save them at the rate he's killing them."
Hera sat down and pulled Jake close. "Listen, it won't do any good moping about it. We have our task, now let's focus on it. We'll save the Dragons, but to do that we have to take out Sukani, he's their biggest threat."
Jake said nothing. He pulled away, and Hera thought he could feel a tear drop onto his fur. He decided that the best thing was to leave Jake to his thoughts for now. With a small sigh, Hera flew to the south end of camp, where he kept watch, scrutinising the countryside.
