The World of Strangereal, circa 720 SC (Strangereal Century)
The world of Strangereal is the setting for my new RP universe for service in both ORPG, URPG and RPB's. All my approved characters have hailed from various parts of this world, and show a variety of races and skills that is different from the canonical world it is based on, Strangereal, from the Ace Combat series.
The Timeline is seperated into SC, or Strangereal Century, and BSC, or Before Strangereal Century, with SC beginning at 1 SC, around 1300 AD IRL.
Various maps and a timeline will be created to help support the RP more.

-Pre Historic and Pre-Centrun periods:
Records from Archaeological research in Mount Santa Anna indicates that modern Sapin was peopled around 1 million years ago. Modern humans arrived from the East Osean Alps around 32,000 years ago.
The two main historical people of the region were the Celts and the Oretanians, the former inhabiting the northwestern coastline facing Oured Bay, the the latter occupying the southern coastlines facing the Atlantic Ocean. The place where they intermingled, in the central plains created the Celtanian civilization.
Other civilizations came to the region, including the Herrians, who settled in the eastern Sapinish Alp regions (close to the border with modern Ratio and Ustio.) as well as sea faring Ugellans and Altoorans from the Usean Continent. Between 1800 and 1600 BSC, the Altoorian Empire fully established control of Sapin through the use of it's trading centers and post along the coastline.
-Centrun Empire and the Schirmigothic Kingdom of Hipsania
Altoorian Sapin was one of several theaters of the Second Altoor War (1410-1405 BSC) between the two most powerful empires of it's day, the Altoorian Empire based in Jeriera, (in modern day Merition Territories, in Central Usea) and the Centrun Republic, based in Centrum (now the capital of the Ratian Republic).
During this war, an expanding Centrun Republic captured Altoorian trading colonies along the Sapanish coast, including the strategic trading posts of Ibera and New Altoor. The Celts and Oretanians already living in the region were under direct influcence from the Centrun Republic (and later Centrun Empire) and had seen general Centrunisation, with it's leader accepted into the aristocracy. The Celtanians however resisted and several wars were fought against the Centruns between 1381-1333 BSC.
Despite this the newly established Centrun province of Hipsania was prosperous, providing grain, olive oil, wine, wool and gold for the Empire. Emperors Hadrian, Arcadius and philosopher Octavia were born in the region. Christianity was introduced to the region in 12th century BSC and became popular the following century.
In 891 BSC, the Centrun's jurisdiction of Hipsania fell when Belkanic tribes were driven into the region from the Schaynelands. However it would not be until 882 BSC that the region would be dominated by the Schirmigoths.
-Al-Galerus: Muslim Hipsania
In the period between 589-581 BSC, the Schirmigothic Kingdom was invaded and nearly conquered by Muslims who invaded the country from Usea in the name of the Umayad Sudburian Empire. (which in 650 BSC split to become the Hipsanian Caliphate)
Those that resisted the Islamic invasion became the founders of the Reconquista States. They were Galeria, Arlon, Biscaria, and Cantabria.
Under the Cordoban Caliphate, there was some freedoms of religion. However, Islam, being the dominant faith, had put the other faiths under mandatory discrimination and penalties. Because of this, Islamic conversions increased at a steady pace.
Laurus, the capital of the Caliphate was one of the largest, richest and most sophisticated city in the Eastern Osean Continent. Trade and culture flourished during this period, and expanded classical and intellectual knowledge throughout the Caliphate.
However, infighting between various Muslim sects led to civil war and decay of the Caliphate. Even though the Caliphate was united twice under the Almoids and the Cordobans, the alliance of Christian Kingdoms started to turn the tide of things.
-Reconquista, Reunification and the Fall of Muslim Rule
The Christian Kingdoms fought a centuries-long war known as the Reconquista, or Reconquest. Which began when the Kingdom of Galeria, the successor to the Schirmigothic Kingdom, defeated the Muslim at Covadon on 578 BSC.
The infighting in the Hipsnaian Caliphate had led to an emboldening of the Christian Kingdoms. This cluminated in major conquests across Sapin, during the 2nd and 1st Century BSC. Leaving only the enclave in Granadia left.
During this period existed two of the most powerful Kingdoms of Spain, Arlon and Castillia. While Castillia became the dominant power within the Sapin Territories, Arlon expanded it's power abroad claiming territories among the city states of Central and Southern Ratio.
In 168, the Kingdoms of Arlon and Castillia were united under a personal union made by Queen Catherine of Castillia and King Aragorn of Arlon. This followed up with a prolonged siege of Granadia which lasted for 30 years, before finally breaking in 192 SC.
The Personal Union coupled with their ever reaching power around the Eastern Osean Continent transformed the Kingdom of Sapin (at the time the Crown of Castillia) an international superpower.
-Imperialism: The Sapinish Empire
Throughout the 3th and most of the 4th century SC, Sapin was the Osean Continent's Leading Power. Sapin reached the height of it's power during the reign of the First Two Sapinish Halbergs, King Jose I (216-256 SC) and King Carlos I (256-298 SC).
This period also saw various other ocnflicts including the Ratian Wars (194-259 SC), the Castillian revolt (250-251 SC), the Limberg revolt and Eighty Years War (268-348 SC), the Moriscan Revolt (268 SC), the Suleymanic-Halberg Wars (Sapin actively fought from 229-271 SC) and the Emmerian Empire (in modern day Eastern-Central Osea from 285-304 SC)
The Sapinish Empire expanded to various regions across the Strangereal world, including, but not limited to, the Southern Osean Continent, as well as Southwestern Osea; San Salvalcion in the Usean Continent; The Averon Islands off the coast of the Yuktobanian Continent; parts of Ratio and the modern day Fato Confederation & parts of modern day Erusea and Belka. It was truly an empire where "the sun never sets"
The Sapinish Golden Age saw advancements in Sapinish culture and discoveries, with daring explorations by sea and by land, on the trek to find new goods to better the Sapinish Empire.
In the late 3rd and into the 4th Century SC, Sapin encountered unrelenting problems, Muslim conquests into the Eastern Osean Continent; An invasion atttempt against the Emmerian mainland was thwarted in 288 SC; and a protestant schism dragged Sapin into religious wars.
The problems continued to get worse as the 4th century SC continued, a great plague began to stress Sapinish power in Europe. This was coupled with military defeats in Limberg and Recta (in 348 and 368 respectively) and lost some of it's Eastern Osean territories to Erusea and the Halberg Gebetan Empire during the War of the Sapinish Sucession (401-414 SC).
However, after the War in 414 SC, a new dynasty, the Erusean Orleanists, were able to consolidate and increase prosperity in the Kingdom by issuing the Nueva Palta decrees which by law, united the Kingdom into one single state.
Towards the end of the 5th century SC, Sapin was able to modernise through the Enlightenment, and increased international standing during the First Osean Civil War (475-483 SC), where they supported the Republicans alongside Erusea and Linburg against the Emmerian and Belkan supported Royalists.
-Fifth Century SC: Bonaparsan Rule and its Consequences
In 493 SC, Sapin joined a colition against the First Free Erusean Republic (and later the First Erusean Empire), which executed the Orleanist king, Louis-Charles XIV. However, after 2 years of fighting, they were defeated. Sapin signed a treaty and effectively became an Erusean client state. The following year, it fought against Emmeria and Recta.
Because of this as well as financial strain, the King of Sapin, King Ferdinand IX, abdicated the throne in favor of Joseph Bonasparse, the brother of Erusean Emperor, Maximillian I.
The new King was widely unpopular, and by May 13, 508 SC, the people of Sapin revolted against the king, sparking what the people in Sapin call the Sapinish War of Independence (known internationally as the Sapinish War) despite early interventions by Maximillian and the defeat of Sapinish, Rectan and Emmerian armies on the field, the Sapanish were able to drive the Eruseans out of Sapin by 514 SC. This, coulped with the Erusean's failed invasions in Usea and Yuktobania spelled the end of the Erusean Empire.
However, because of the commotion, most of Sapin's colonies delcare and win their independence, with the exception being Averon.
-Sapinish-Osean War
The 5th Century SC was marked by Civil War and instability (to the point that at one time, Sapin became a Republic for roughly 2 years, from 573 to 574 SC). During this period the Sapinish colony of Averon started accepting Nationalist ideals which sparked a war between it and Sapin since 578 SC. However incidents involving Osean civilians and public opinion against Sapin forced the Osean gov't to declare war on Sapin in 598 SC. During the war, Osean ships blockaded both the Sapinish mainland as well as Averon. It also saw the destruction of the Sapinish force in Averon and Sapin's home fleet almost 4 months after Osean intervention.
The resulting Treaty of Farbanti that ended the war led to Osea buying Averon for $10 million as well as declaring another of Sapin's remaining colonies, the Adaman Island of Hava as independent.
The war also hurt the reforms made by King Alfonso XII (574-585 SC) and King Alfonso XIII (586-631 SC)
-Seventh Century SC: Republicanism, Totalitarianism and a Constitutional Monarch
The 6th Century did not bring much peace. While Sapin lost Averon to Osea, they did gain colonies in the Usean Continent, particularly the Sudbury and Altoora Deserts into Los Canas. The Tazan Confederacy fought 3 wars with Sapin (First in 593-594 SC, second in 609 and third in 620-626) However, the losses taken in getting the new colonies underminded the Sapinish Monarch and a coup d'tat led to the rise of the Second Sapanish Republic. Under the Sapanish Republic, Biscaria, Arlon, and Granadia were given autonomy and women were allowed sufferage.
The Second Sapanish Civil War (636-639) erupted between Sapin Nationalists under General Francisco Rivera supported by the Principality of Belka and the Kingdom of Ratio against the Second Sapanish Republic supported by Yuktobania, San Salvacion and International Brigades. After 3 years fighting and the death or flight of 1 million Sapiniards, the Nationalists overthrew the government and established the Totalitarian Sapanish State. People claim that the Civil War was the first true major battle in Belka's expansionist polices that would dominate Osean Continental Politics for the second half of the century.
Sapin became poltically and economically isolated until 671. The year before, Belka launched a surprise attack on the Kingdom of Sapin, one of the first wars in Belka's Wars of Expansion (670-673 SC) The war turned one time ally Belka into its enemy and left the Sapin military broken and Arlon, Biscaria and Northwestern Castilla would be annexed to Belka. However in response, Osea began delivering aid during and after the war with Belka.
The defeat at the hands of Belka coupled with the death of General Riviera, led to some reforms of the government. Riviera wanted Ignacio to rule with the same totalitarian grip as he did, but after the General's death. Ignacio reestablished the Monarchy and established a constitution in 678 SC. Some military officers, in a last ditch effort to retain Riviera's grip, attempted a coup, which was thwarted by the majority of the military loyal to the King.
Sapin would later join the East Osean Union, in 686 SC.
-The Belkan War and the Eighth Century SC
In 687 SC, the Belkan Federal Law review gave autonomy to the territories taken from Sapin during the Belkan-Sapin War of 670 SC. Pro-Sapinish movements and an economic downturn led to those very regions being bought by Sapin in 691 SC for $40 million.
However, despite this fact, the Belkans continued their economic downward spiral until the right wing Rald party usurped control of Belka and, after discovering hidden resources in some of the lands given up, declared war on it's immediate neighbors and Yuktobania.
The Belkan military began to pour across the borders of Ustio and Sapin, being the more resource-heavy territories. Ustio, however, lacked the military strength to fight off the invaders and almost fell to Belka. Sapin, however, had its military expand exponentially over the past decade, thus being more prepared for the Belkan invasion. Though the Western Territories of Sapin were overrun by Belkan aggressors, the Four Horsemen along with the Sapin Royal Army managed to halt the Belkan advance early in the war and maintain the Belkans at bay, far from Gran Rugido.
Later in the war, after Ustio began to be liberated with a new mercenary force, the Sapin Military began to spearhead the counter offensive against the Belkan Military, causing several deadly blows to the Belkans and driving them past areas B6R and B7R, where there seemed to be a perpetual stalemate between the two forces. At the time, Ustio and Osea seemed to be able to drive the Belkans back to their northern regions, so Sapin and an Allied army comprised of Oseans and Yuktobanians began an assault on the Sourthern Regions. These territories were liberated much earlier than their Northern counterparts, where the heavier fighting took place. Apparently, the Belkans were willing to sacrifice the Sourthern Regions to defend the North. The fact that these territories surrendered peacefully (for the most part) also aided in a quick end to the Southern portion of the war.
After the detonation of nuclear weapons in Belka and the eventual cease-fire, Sapin forces took over the job of peacekeeping along with Osea in the Southern Regions. Then, on June 20th, the official peace accords of the Belkan war took place in Lumen in South Belka. Around the same time, Espada and Escudo were watching over the peace accords, when they were going to be relieved by Lanza and Armadura when the two squadrons found the runway was sabotaged, causing the erradication of both Lanza and Armadura, leaving Espada and Escudo to watch over the peace accords and be on stand-by alert should something happen over Gran Rugido.
Then, on Christmas Day, 695 SC, A World With No Boundaries revealed itself, by first attacking Lumen, South Belka, the signing place of the peace accords and Valais Air Base, Ustio with the XB-0, Belka's experimental bomber. Escudo's flight lead transfered to Espada and became the Espada flight lead after an assassination on the former leader by Marcela Vasquez. This betrayal was caused by a romantic relationship betwen Escudero and Macarena, but also by the former flight lead's lack of cooperation towards "A World With No Boundaries". The rest of Escudo team either manned sectors of the XB-0 or flew escorts to the XB-0 along with the new Espada duo. However, all Sapin escorts were shot down by the Ustian 6th Air Division, 66th Air Force Unit "Galm" team and their "Demon Lord".
After the war ended, Sapin enjoyed peace and economic prosperity alongside the rest of the Eastern Osean Continental Nations. Of which continued into the 8th Century SC.

-Unification and the Formation of the Republic
The history of Emmeria begins with the Emmerian Wars. (20 BSC-33 SC) The Khesed Empire began a series of wars of expansion against it's neighbors, the Kingdom of Tarvo and the Principality of Feninsulia. In 20 years, the Principality fell to Khesed, and immediately turned it's attention to the Kingdom of Gracemeria.
Over the course of the early First Century SC, Gracemeria came under attack by the stronger Khesed Empire, Gracemeria had a better defensible position and were able to hold off their advance by the strategic ingenuity of Gracemeria's king, Aurelius III (the Great).
Forging an alliance and a personal union with the Kingdom of Tarvo, the allied forces were able to turn the tide of the Emmerian Wars and defeat Khesed with the use of Political and Military Manuvering. Aurelius III effectively unified the country and became the first king of a unified Emmeria. However the Personal Unions meant that although he was King of Emmeria, he still allowed the various Kingdoms to have their own Kings that run over the Emmerian territories, giving them complete autonomy.
This feat continued for some 400 years, with the Angevin and later, the Stuart dynasty running the kingdom. Unfortunately, the Stuart dynasty was widely unpopular due to an attempt to take away some of the autonomies of the Emmerian states, in an attempt to establish an absolute monarchy. This sparked the Emmerian Civil War (400-406 SC).
The Civil War led to the overthrowing of the Monarchy and set up a Parliamentary Democracy the following year with all of the autonomus states retaining their respective devolved governments, thus the Republic of Emmeria was born.
-Fifth Century SC: Industrial Revolution
Emmeria played a very important role in Developing Enlightenment ideas. They took part in contributing to literature, the arts and sciences. Their Industrial revolution fueled and strengthened the Emmerian economy as well as militarily, which they used to good effect in the Erusean and Native War (454-463 SC) and First Osean Civil War (475-483 SC). They also combatted the Slave Trade in 507 SC with the passing of the Slave Trade Act.
It was at this time that a new constitution was passed in 500 SC. Because the country was run as a Parliamentary Democracy with only a Legislative and Judicial Branch, it became clear that the Legislative Branch became too powerful. A modification to the Emmerian Constitution, created by Emmerian liberals in Parliament, established an Executive Branch, establishing a Prime Minister position to evenly balance out the powers between the Legislative and Executive branches. It also took some of the autonomus powers away from the constituent states.
-Pax Emmericana
After the defeat of the Bonaparsans in the Bonaparsan Wars (505-515 SC) Emmeria became the dominant superpower of the 6th Century SC (a trend which continued even into the 8th Century SC). The Emmerian Empire, an Empire which consisted of Mid-Central and Northern Osea (Until 515 SC), Clavis (until 647 SC), and various Usean Nations (until 660 SC) had reached it's peak in 621 SC with more territory in Usea from a combined Belkan-Delaran defeat in the Great War.
They were responsible for the birth of the EBC, the Emmerian Broadcasting Company, a state run communications network which ran across Emmeria. It later became the world's first international broadcasting network.
-Emmerian-Khesed War
In 619 SC, the Emmerian State of Khesed, seeking independence from Emmeria, fought a war of liberation with the Emmerian Home Government. The war, lasting 3 years and costing the lives of many people, led to Khesed gaining most of it's autonomus powers it lost in the constitution of 500 SC back to them in the Khesed Autonomus Treaty.
-Superpower Multipolarity
Despite the embarassing defeat in Khesed and 2 economic slowdowns (the first from 629-645 SC was known as the Great Depression, the second being from 670-682 SC) which led to the end of the Emmerian Empire, the Republic retained it's superpower status through the use of innovative ideas (they were tied with the Principality of Belka to being the first nations to develop the Jet fighter aircraft). Emmeria saw themselves as rivals to rising superpowers Osea and Yuktobania.
The military of Emmeria never showed neglect either, as shown during the Sudbury Canal War against the Republic of Sudbury of 656 SC and the Terminus Island War against Aurelia in 682 SC.
Emmeria also had plans to establish an intiative to unite all nations on the Anean Continent to establish the Republic of Anea. However the concept was suspended and later dropped during the Estovakian Civil War (707-713 SC) and the Emmerian-Estovakian War (715-716 SC)
-Emmeria vs. Estovakia: The Anean Continental War
In 694 SC, The Comona Observatory found an asteroid designated Ulysses 1994XF04. Originally it was only expected to impact the Usean continent, but the International Union of Astronomers (IUA) updated its predictions in December of 698 SC, when they found out that there was a hollow space inside of it. They believed this would cause the asteroid to split in two as it past the Roche limit, and enlarged the effected area to include Anea. Even though the STN would not be able to deflect any incoming asteroid fragments over the Anean continent, the Emmerians decided not to build an Asteroid Interception System, instead focusing on 'defense', preparations for the crisis including supplies and shelter for foreign refugees (many of which were from the Usean continent) and displaced citizens.
On July 3rd, 699 SC, Ulysses passed through the Roche limit, the asteroid fragmented into thousands of pieces, an unexpected turn of events. Fortunately for Emmeria, it came out of the disaster virtually unharmed; however, its neighbour to the east, Estovakia, suffered several major impacts. With the economy in ruins, the civil unrest, and increased nationwide crime the Estovakian government effectively collapsed. Estovakia fell into political and economic disorder.
Estovakian Military factions had formed within five regions of Estovakia. Estovakian Military officers formed these factions in hopes of saving citizens of Estovakia from poverty and further economic destruction. In the year 700 SC, Emmeria began to revitalize the Estovakian economy, but was forced to cease support activities when the Lyes United Front (LUF) proclaimed itself as the orthodox government of Estovakia, in 707 SC, and used Emmerian supplies to gain an upper hand within Estovakia. These actions would later throw Estovakia into a civil war. With the Civil War's end and with the regime of "The Generals" beginning, despite the deception caused by the LUF, many of the Estovakian leaders felt as though the civil war was Emmeria's doing and held a grudge against the neighbouring nation.
On August 30th, 715 SC, the Estovakian Central Military District declared open war on the Republic of Emmeria and launched a full scale surprise air raid the same day. This air raid was aimed at the Emmerian capital city, Gracemeria, in an effort to quickly begin and end the conflict with little loss of life for the Estovakian Military.
The Estovakian Air Force was met with immediate resistance from multiple Emmerian air, ground and naval units. These included the 28th Tactical Fighter Squadron (TFS) “Garuda” and 15th TFS Eastern Region Air Defense 8th Air Division, the Emmerian Navy’s VFA-2 of the 2nd Air Wing, the 2nd Emmerian Fleet and Brigades of the 2nd and 5th Armoured Corps of the Emmerian Army, backed by AWACS “Ghost Eye”. Gracemeria was under complete siege by Estovakian air and air-dropped ground forces, but mid-way through the battle the Emmerian Military began to turn the tide of the battle. However, the Estovakian Military deployed the P-1112 Aigaion Heavy Command Cruiser. The Aigaion fired multiple Nimbi, air burst cruise missiles, which decimated much of the Emmerian air and naval forces in Gracemeria. Also, the 9th Tactical Fighter Squadron “Strigon” of the 370th Aviation Regiment attacked Emmerian aircraft which attempted to flee the impact areas. Emmerian Military Command ordered an immediate retreat of all military forces in Gracemeria with hopes of joining up with Emmerian forces outside of Gracemeria and launching a quick counterattack.
Four operations to retake Gracemeria were launched, codenamed “King” and “Balloon”, but failed because of a joint defensive effort, lead by the Aigaion, the Strigon team and the Estovakian Navy South Sea Fleet. The Emmerian Military continued to retreat to the west across the Anean Continent, until they were confined to Khesed Island.
From Vitoze, the Khesed Capital, the Emmerian Air Force repelled multiple Estovakian bomber raids and launched an effort to remove all Estovakian troops from Khesed Island. The main units of the Emmerian Ground offense were the Emmerian Army’s 3rd Corps, 1st Brigade, 1st Tank Battalion “Warlock” and the 4th Armoured Battalion “Quox”, while the main air units consisted of the 28th TFS “Garuda”, the 15th TFS, and VFA-2. This combined force, along with other small Emmerian units, made up 90% of operational forces at that time. This force managed to secure Sipli Field and pushed to recapture Bartolomeo Fortress, the final Estovakian position on Khesed Island. With support from the Emmerian Air Force Advanced Warning and Control Wing, 303rd Airborne Air Control Squadron, 4th Flight, in the form of an E-767 AWACS callsign “Ghost Eye”; the Emmerian force attacked Bartolomeo Fortress. The battle ended with the successful recapturing of the fortress and Khesed Island.
The Emmerian Forces then made an amphibious landing on the Anean Continent and established a foothold on the western coast. The Emmerian 5th Tank Battalion “Steel Gunners”, 6th Tank Battalion “Dragon Busters”, 8th Tank Battalion “Gavial”, 9th Tank Battalion “Grizzly” and 6th Tank Battalion “Barracuda”, the 1st Signal Battalion “Sherpa” of the 2nd and 5th Corps and the 5th TFS of the Western Region Air Defense 3rd Air Division were completely cut off in Silvat by Estovakian forces.
Emmerian air forces flew into the area to support the cut off tank battalions, with support from the Northern Region Air Defense, 3rd Air Division’s 4th TFS and 1st Helicopter Unit of the South Sea Fleet Command’s 3rd Fleet. The air forces managed to loosen the siege on the encircled Emmerian ground troops and successfully annihilated all Estovakian forces attempting to retreat the area. With this new and sizable force, the Emmerian Military pushed through a large mountain range, near Selumna Peak, but was attacked by Estovakian air forces. The P-1112 Aigaion also launched multiple Nimbus missiles into the area using drones to guide them, but, was unsuccessful in halting the Emmerian advance. Estovakian forces in San Loma were attacked soon afterwards. San Loma was an important strategic location due to its Naval Facilities in Doypalm Bay and airport near Tarvo City. With the 335th Bomber Squadron and the 2nd Fleet, the Emmerian Forces took San Loma, despite yet another wave of Nimbus missile attacks and turned its attention to the P-1112 Aigaion.
Information was gathered and Emmerian Military Command formed a plan to destroy the Heavy Command Cruiser, its escorts and the Nimbus missile threat. Seasoned Emmerian squadrons attacked the Estovakian Aerial Fleet as they performed refuelling operations. However, the Estovakian Strigon Team launched from the P-1112 Aigaion and engaged the Emmerians, along side the P-1113 Gyges and P-1114 Kottos aircraft. Already having lost five members in combat to the 28th TFS Garuda, the Strigon Team was forced to incorporate members from the Vampire Team, still based in Estovakia. The Estovakian Fleet was slowly dismantled and the Strigon Squadron was also shot down as a whole. The destruction of the Aigaion was accredited to Garuda One of the Emmerian 28th TFS. It was at this point in time that the Garuda Team had gained immense popularity throughout the civilian population and not just the armed forces.
With such losses, the Estovakian Military began to form new defensive strategies to repel the oncoming Emmerian Forces. Also their top ace, Ilya Pasternak was sent to Gracemeria to take command of the Strigon Squadron and to combat the Garuda Team.
The Emmerian Military then took Ragno Fortress, the closest defensive position to the west of Gracemeria, and eventually launched a pivotal operation in the Moloch Desert. This operation saw the bulk of the Estovakian forces defending Gracemeria deployed onto the battlefield, meaning that an Emmerian victory would ensure the recapture of the capital city. The battle in the Moloch Desert was said to be some of the most gruelling, and would have resulted in an Emmerian victory, thanks to the presence of multiple prominent Emmerian Military forces, including the Garuda Team. However, Emmerian Command caught wind of a plan to destroy Gracemeria with weapons of mass destruction, rather than let if fall into the hands of the Emmerian Military. An immediate order of retreat was broadcasted to all Emmerian forces as Estovakian forces left the battlefield, but the Garuda Team continued to chase the fleeing Estovakian troops. The Strigon Team appeared on the battle field and solely engaged the Garuda Team, outnumbering them 10 to 2. Hoping to get rid of the Garuda Team, the Strigon Team was once again shot down in combat.
The Garuda Team was suspended from all flight operations because of their violation of a direct order and the endangerment of all civilians in Gracemeria. This suspension did not last long as the Garuda Team was once again called fourth to fly a special operation near Fort Norton aimed at destroying an Estovakian unit carrying the weapons of mass destruction which were to be deployed to destroy Gracemeria, if the command was given. Flying at high speeds through a nearby ravine, the Garuda Team managed to destroy the Estovakian unit, but was heavily outnumbered by overwhelming amounts of Estovakian aircraft. Garuda Team was saved by an air unit comprised of the 15th, 4th, 5th Tactical Fighter Squadrons, the 303rd ACS and VFA-2 of the Emmerian Air and Naval Forces.
With the success of this mission, Operation “Free Gracemeria” was put underway on March 31st, 716 SC. All prominent units of the Emmerian air, naval and ground Forces participated in the battle and were assigned to liberate different areas of Gracemeria. The Steel Gunners battalion was to retake Gracemeria Air Force Base, The Dragon Busters battalion, supported by the 5th TFS, was to take the metropolitan area and the Capitol, Warlock battalion was to work with the 1st Helicopter Unit and the Rigel battalion, which would be dropped into combat by an LCAC unit and take the radio station and new areas of the city, while the Emmerian 2nd Fleet engaged the Estovakian South Sea Fleet in Gracemeria Bay and the 15th TFS with the VFA-2 engaged Estovakian AWACS, ECM and air superiority aircraft over the city. The Garuda Team supported each operation and ensured their success despite immense defensive fire power from the combined Estovakian Forces. The intense battle ended in an Emmerian victory, but, not after Ilya Pasternak of the Strigon Team engaged the Garuda Team and all elements of the Emmerian Military in Gracemeria. Despite being alone, Pasternak managed to tie up the Emmerian forces allowing his squadron to retreat from the battle. Ilya Pasternak was killed in action by the Garuda Team, but was to be remembered by the Estovakian Air Force as a born ace pilot with a spotless record, who valiantly died in combat for his comrades.
Though Gracemeria was freed and citizens had retaken the streets, Emmerian Command continued air patrols over the city. As celebrations continued throughout the night after the liberation, an Estovakian general by the name of Gustav Dvornik, Commander of Estovakian Forces in Emmeria, as the Central District Precinct Commander and Expeditionary Forces General, escaped the Emmerian attack in Gracemeria and ordered that the “Chandelier” be put into operation and fire at Gracemeria. The Chandelier, a weapon designed to intercept the Ulysses asteroid, fired waves of cruise missiles at Gracemeria hoping to destroy the city. The Emmerian Air Force successfully repelled these cruise missiles and Estovakian aircraft. AWACS Ghost Eye and Military Command managed to trace the flight trajectory of these cruise missiles to the Chandelier, located near Sonne Island in the North Sea off of the Estovakian north coast.
All available air units were scrambled to destroy the Chandelier, but were met with stiff resistance from remnants of the Estovakian Navy, Air Force and the survivors of the Strigon Team. With information gathered from a joint civilian Estovakian source, the Emmerian forces targeted the Chandelier’s cooling units in hopes of forcing the large railgun to overheat, but a secondary cooling unit was discovered directly under the main gun. Garuda Two flew into the Chandelier’s service gutter and gathered information on defenses, but was heavily damaged. Garuda Two was eventually unable to keep his aircraft airborne and went down in the North Sea. Garuda One then flew into the same service gutter and destroyed the secondary cooling unit, but in order to destroy the weapon entirely, the exposed launcher mechanism was attacked. Garuda One flew into the barrel of the Chandelier and successfully destroyed the cannon.
The Emmerian-Estovakian War, or the Anean Continental War, ended with Emmeria as the victor.
-After The War:
Though Emmeria was able to recover the lands lost, Emmerians were able to rebuild, feeling very patriotic of their country for the first time since the Emmerian Wars. A large baby boom followed which led to the population increasing by 50% pre-war levels.

-Belkanic Tribes and Belkania
The origins of Belka lay in the early Iron Age, from the Crescnce Islands, seafaring Belkanic tribes expanded across modern North and South Belka, as well as Gebet.
Under Emperor Septembrus, the Centrun General Amadeus Quincitillus invaded the Belkania (the Centrun word for the lands from Gebet to the Waldreich Mountains. It was in this period that the Belkanic tribes learned Centrun weaponry and battle tactics, which they would use to their advantage in the Battle of Tauberg Forest in 1309 BSC, where three Centrun legions were soundly crushed by the Belkanic "barbarians". By 1040 BSC, Belkanic Barbarians already occupy parts of the Centrun Empire.
-Holy Belkan Empire (338 BSC-506 SC)
On Christmas Day, 500 BSC, Charlemagnus founded the Carolingian Erusean Empire, which was devided 43 years later. Of which some portion existed in various forms from 338 BSC to 506 SC. It's territory stretched from the Great Lakes region in Eastern Osea to Western Fato and as far north as the Crescnce Islands to as far south as the Ivrea Mountains. It was known in 148 SC as the Sanctum Centrunan Imperium Nationis Belkanicae (Holy Centrun Empire of the Belkan Nation).
Under the rule of the Octavian Emperors (381-276 BSC) various duchies consolidated and after an election of Belkan Dukes and Kings, one was chosen to become the Belkan Emperor. Under the reign of the Salian emperors (276-175 BSC), The Belkans took over Western Ratio, though eventually lost those areas at the end of that dynasty. The Hohenstaufen Emperors (162-46 BSC) extended their reach to modern-day Ustio. However their rule and subsequently after was plagued by Famine and Disease during the early 1st Century SC.
The Golden Hawk Edict codified the elcection of the Emperor to the 7 most powerful lords of the Holy Belkan Empire, since the 3rd Century SC, the emperors came exlusively from the Halberg dynasty of Gebet.
The Belkan Preist known as Marthin Luther published his 90 Theses, which sparked the Protesant Reformation and led to religious conflicts cluminating in the Thirty Years War (418-448 SC) which de facto divided the Belkan Empire into numerous Principalities and Kingdoms dominated by Gebet (who still effectively were Holy Belkan Emperors) and by the younger Principality of Dinsmark. By 506 SC, during the Bonasparsan Wars (505-515 SC) the Empire was overrun and dissolved.
-The Belkan Confederation: Reformation and Revolution (514-571 SC)
The Congress of Mons in 514 SC founded the Belkan Confederation, a league of 39 Belkan States around North and South Belka. However, nationalism had taken hold and some longed for a united Belka, this was only made worse when half of the league was taken control by the increasing global power, Osea.
A revolution in 648 SC in many of the Belkan states came close to yielding a Belkan Constitutional Monarch, only prevented when Wilheim I of Dinsmark rejected the crown and the constitution, promply over military reforms and loss of power.
A Belkan nationalist by the name of Otto von Bismark however, began a series of complex gambits to unite Belka, firstly by waging war with Wellow in 564 SC over the Crescence Islands and a series of Islands off the coast of the Wellowian mainland with the help of Gebet.
After military sucess there, Bismark turned his attention to fighting Gebet 2 years later in what was known as the Belkan Civil War (566 SC). After 7 weeks, a Dinsmarkian victory excluded Gebet from the Belkan Confederation and led to Dinsmark creating the North Belkan Confederation. War with Erusea in 570-571 SC led to nationalistic furvor, which then led to the founding of the Principality of Belka with Wilheim I as Crown Prince.
-Early Years of the Principality (571-673 SC)
With the victory over it's rivals, Belka began a process of securing allies to further isolate Erusea as well as establishing colonies during the Usean Scramble of 584 SC.
However, under Wilheim's sucessor, Wilheim II, Belka became isolated themselves, finding allies with Gebet and Ratio.
Belka fought it's first major war as a unified nation during the First Osean War (605-610 SC). During the war, Belka was accredited for using aircraft for the first time in war. But despite that advantage, Belka was soundly defeated by Osea. They tried again in 614 SC during the Great War, but once again, were defeated by the coalition of Osea, Erusea, and Emmeria.
The war financially broke Belka and the country stumbled to a deep depression which was only avoided by right wing radicals. They built their army to unprecedented heights and invaded Osean-occuppied South Belka, triggering the Second Osean War (645 SC). This time, Belka won out in the war, winning the lands from Osea. It was at this time that the Belkan Federation was born.
-Belkan Federation and Expansion (645-680 SC)
The Belkan Federation continued to expand militarily, capturing arms from defected Osean, Yuktobanian, Emmerian and Erusean officers. They also made allies with Ratio, Sapin and Kaluga.
By 670 SC, the Belkan Expansionist Wars (which lasted until 673 SC) began. In the span of 3 Years, Belka invaded it's neighbors, Osea, FATO, Gebet, Ustio and it's ally Sapin and soundly defeated them with the power of their air force, the most powerful air arm in the world at the time. Belka annexed FATO, Gebet, Ustio and plenty of territory from Sapin and Osea.
-The Rectan War (681-687 SC)
The final war of Belkan Expansion came in the form of the Rectan War (681-685 SC) The Belkans initially were able to take control of two-thirds of the country, but the advance grinded to a halt thanks to the efforts of the Rectan Air Force. Recta’s Air Force, while smaller but more experienced, is effectively defending itself from the initial attacks and maintains it’s Air Superiority. The Belkan Air Force 51st Air Division, 105th TFS Silber is deployed there, from the Western Battle line and soon the tide of war changes. Most notably at the Battle of Mt. Mainz, in which they claimed Air Superiority and allowed Belkan Ground Forces to take the city of Calle, wiping out the Rectan Liberation Front Forces.
The last action of the Belkan Annexations ended with the newly established 156th TFS Silber engaging unknown Fighters over the Crescence Islands. After they are shot down, all actions against the Belkans begin to cease. This took place in 1985.
Just two years later, the Belkan Democratic party came under heavy opposition, due to the fact that the Belkan Economy was declining rapidly and soon the government was forced into a process which would re-evaluate their effectiveness to run the country. The Belkan Federal Law Review is held in 1987. In the end, a new Federal Government was established and new laws were set in place.
-The Twilight Years of the Federation
Two territories had broken away from Belka, not agreeing with the new system. In 687, the North-Eastern State of Belka were the these territories and split into multiple small nations. They were later known as the FATO Nations. Also, in 688, the Republic of Ustio was formed when a South-Belkan State also breaks away.
The Belkan Government could do little to stop them from breaking away, since their economy continued to fall. Eventually, in 691 SC, they had sold their remaining lands back to the Eastern Nations, all Belkan Military forces return to Belka. These lands were distrubuted among Sapin, Ustio and the FATO Nations and resulted in the expansion of the Sapin and Ustio and the formation of Gebet and Recta.
However, nothing seemed to help the Belkans come out of their economic bind and the country entered a state of unrest. During this time the Public cries out for order to be restored. Amidst the chaos an extreme-Right Wing Democratic Liberal Party takes power in Belka. They had learned of Osea’s lies and their plan to take the Rich lands around the Great Lakes, and also had intentions of reclaiming the two territories which had broken off.
In 687, Belka had receded it’s Northern and Southern lands of the Great Lakes to Osea, in hopes of revitalizing it’s economy, since a Joint Research Group Announced that there was a large amount of resources there. Osea had promised to repay them a High Percentage of the Materials there. However, there weren't as many resources as they had said were there.
They had attempted to retake their land from Osea after finding out that reports of theirs, reading that they were not Rich in minerals, were false and made up by Osean Officials.
The Belkan Military began to re-amass itself under the orders of this new regime and conflict on the continent became imminent.
-The Belkan War (695 SC)
The Belkan Military crossed the borders of the Independent countries and Open War was declared. The Belkan Military advanced on all fronts and never stopped, despite the military opposition in front of them. The southern states lost Air Superiority after the opening week of the war. The Republic of Ustio had lost 90% of its Air Force and was forced to retreat, during the retreat they lost a third of their land in-order to reduce the number of fronts they had to fight on. The Belkan forces continued a steady advance. Osea, too was thrown off guard by the sudden Belkan Advance.
On April 2nd, the Belkan advance had reached it's zenith on all fronts. On the Ustian front, only one major base remained, Valias, which was perched on top of the Ustian mountains. The Belkan Air Force attempted to neutralize it, but was unsuccessful, due to the reformation of the 6th Ustian Air Division into a force of Foreign Mercenaries. With there resources stretched thin by the multi-front offensive, the Belkan drive grinded to a halt.
This gave time for the Allies to regroup. In early April, the now unified allied forces of Osea, Sapin, Ustio, and Yuktobania, conducted Op. Roselin, which connected the Allied nations of Ustio and Osea through Belkan occupied Arlon, Sapin. This was in preparation for the Allied counter-offensive against Belka.
After diverting the Belkan Air Force's attention to the Round Table on the 20th with a diversionary recon mission, The Osean 3rd fleet, with it's new capital ship, the OFS Kestrel moved through the Belkan-occupied Futuro Canal into the bay of Lumen, opening up an Air corridor into South Belka. This was the beginning of Osean Offensive 4101. By early May, all Osean and Sapin land had been liberated. All that remained was Ustio.
On May 12th, the Osean 101st airborne launched Op. Varsity, a paratroop mission to take Solis Ortus, to gain Acces to the Ustian capital of Directus. Although the Belkans put up a fight, they were unable to hold Solis Ortus and were forced to fall back to Directus. The following day, with the Osean Army from the South and the Ustian Army from the North, as well as a civilian resistance movement directly in the city, the Allies were able to take Directus. This proved to be disastrous to the Belkans, for the HQ of the Ustio-branch Belkan army was in Directus, as well as most of the occupying army. With the loss of Ustio, the Belkan Army fell back to the Hydrian line, Belka's first line of defense.
At this point, there was a dramatic shift in the war. Belka is no longer the aggressor, but the defender, as the Allies prepared to invade Belka. The story is told differently from each standing point. Here is what we do know:
On May 17th, the Allies launched Op. Hellbound, an attack on the centerpiece of the Hydrian line, Glatisant. The allies suspected that Glatisant was not just a fortress, but a nuclear weapons production facility. The mission was pegged as a nuclear inspection, which some of the Ustian Mercenary pilots found laughable. Despite the heavy AA defense network at Glatisant, The Mercenary forces are able to neutralize the defense capabilities of Glatisant.
With it's main fortress neutralized, the Belkan Military abandoned the Hydrian line, pulling back to their second line of defense in the Schayne plains. Although this was well into South Belkan territory, the plains lacked defensive cover. The Allies thought to capitalize on this weakness, and on May 19th, they launched an air raid on the defensive positions in the plains. After the objective was completed, however, the Belkans deployed Excalibur against them. Most of the attacking force was destroyed by the Laser before they could escape, but a few pilots made it through, including the UAF's Mercenary Squadron, 66th AFU "Galm" team.
Excalibur soon became the Allies Priority target, as the withering fire power of the laser tower kept their forces from advancing. Causality figures were placed high, as this was Belka's pillar of defense. On May 23rd, Ustian Mercenaries attacked Tauberg, the place where Excalibur was built, deep in North Belkan territory. Although 4 Jammers were present, and the defenses at Excalibur itself were fierce, the Ustians were able to destroy Excalibur. With Excalibur out of the way, the Allies continued to advance northward.
Then, on May 28th, Osea Announced its permanent abrogation of the Nonaggression treaty in front of the Assembly of Nations, and commenced Op. Battle Axe, a large scale Air sortie into the Round Table, which was still tight in the grasp of the Belkan Air Force. Although at first the battle seemed to go in the Belkans favor, destroying 40% of the Allied forces, the balance swung into the Allies court when the Demon Lord, as his new moniker was, entered the fray, and routed the Belkans, even defeating an Ace Belkan squadron.
Around the same time, South Belka was beginning to become weary of the war. Disillusioned of the patriotism and nationalism that lead them into the war, as well as having there land be torn up for defense line after defense line for the "Fatherland" in the north, South Belkan cities began to surrender and disarm peacefully. Unable to set defense positions, the Belkan Army retreated to the north to the Waldriechs and the border between the Belkas. The end of the war was drawing near.
The Allied Air forces then started to make the destruction of Belkan war productions their main priority. On June 1st, the Allies launched a heavy bombing raid on the industrial center of Hoffnung. The bombing run wasn't a surgical strike, but Saturation bombing, where the bombers released ton after ton of unguided bombs on Hoffnung. In turn, the Belkans began to sabotage the facilities, to let nothing fall into the allies hands. The mission was A success, but with a terrible cost to civilian life.
With the fall of Hoffnung, Sudentor was the last major South Belkan city still under North Belkan control. Resistance there was fierce, due to weapons from the South Belkan munitions plant that was in the city. To put down the resistance, the Allies called upon the Ustian mercenaries to meet up with the Allied ground forces south of the city. On the way there, they flew over Stier, when a large bomber formation appeared to the north. Supposedly, it was carrying a nuclear bomb destined for Ustio. Through valiant fighting against improbable odds. the Mercenaries were able to destroy the entire formation, which, curiously, was being attacked by South Belkan fighters as well. Although they had stopped the bombers, several smaller jet fighters made it through, and dropped their payload.
Seven nuclear bombs were dropped on the Waldriechs, killing over 12,000 people. The EMP discharge from the Nukes made communication difficult for several days, but that did not keep the world from knowing what had happened. Everyone was stunned by the Belkan's grand act of self-sacrifice. They had lost the will to fight anymore, after watching the tragedy unfold before their eyes. The allies quickly agreed with the Belkan high command for a ceasefire. For the most part, the war was over.
Some Belkan officers, however, refused the ceasefire order, and began to regroup in the Yaring mine region near Mt. Shirim. Ustian Mercenaries were sent to quell the resistance, but found it to be larger than anticipated. Nevertheless, the mission was successful.
On June 20th, the official peace accords of the Belkan war were held in Lumen, South Belka. At same time, Unfortunately, another group of Belkan insurgents appeared on the Belkan coast near Anfang, decrying the peace accords. Due to the circumstances, the Allies secretly sent in mercenary forces to take care of the insurrection. Although, as, one of the pilots pointed out, there was too much resistance to be simply an insurrection, the mission was successful. The peace talks were held without incident.
The treaty signed at Lumen was one that heavily favored the Allied nations. Belka lost all it's southern territories, leaving only North Belka, which was renamed the Principality of Belka. It's military was heavily restricted as well, to ensure that Belka would never again be a threat. The diplomats then proceeded to squabble over the same resources that had ignited the war in the first place. Nevertheless, the world seemed to be at peace, with the Belkan war behind them.
Then, on Christmas Day, 695 SC, "A World With no Boundaries" revealed itself, by first attacking Lumen, the signing place of the peace accords, and Valais airbase with the XB-0, Belka's experimental bomber.
Although the bomber and its escorts were destroyed, it was discovered that AWWB had control over Avalon Dam, a secret V2 test launch facility. A strike force was quickly assembled, and made it's way to Avalon. Although the Strike team suffered severe casualties, Galm team made it through, and was able to destroy the V2 controls, disabling the V2, before disappearing into history.
But some technicians who worked on the V2 did not join AWWB, as they fervent Belkan Nationalists. They would only repeat later in history. "A World With no Boundaries" had managed to keep any information about them extremely secretive, so information about them is somewhat scarce.
-The Interwar Years (696-709 SC)
After the Belkan War, a new Government was being put into place with help from the many of the Allied Nations. The Belkan Federation was then known as the Principality of Belka. In a show of good will by Osea, a new Fighter Squadron comprised of Belkan Aces from the War was established in the Osean Air Force.
However, after 695 SC Belka's Activities outside it's borders had almost ceased, as they were focusing on re-stabilizing their Nation. A Period of International Isolation had begun. The only, technical Belkan activity was by Grunder Industries, which was an Arms and Weapons manufacture in South Belka, now known as North Osea.
A few members of the Belkan Air Force were thought to have made a terrorist group known as "The Falcons of Dawn". Belkan Ace Oswald "Regen" Baermann created the group. It is belived that Elmar "Amsel" Hahn is also a member of this group, but there was no official statement. "The Falcons of Dawn" had established themselves on the Osean Contienent and are still somewhat active, even into the new Century.
-The Circum-Pacific War (710 SC)
In 2010 neighboring Osea was being probed by unknown aircraft from an unknown country. Days later, a former Ally during the Belkan War, Yuktobania declared War on Osea. In the initial days of fighting, Yuktobania had attacked the Osean Fleets and launched Amphibious Assaults, but those were repelled by Osean Military Forces and soon, Osea had preformed an Amphibious Assault on Yuktobanian soil and established a foot-hold.
Little did each country know, the war between them was engineered by extremists from Belka, still angered by the Belkan War 15 years ago. These extremists were believed to be the "Grey Men". They had been planning to use operatives within the Osean and Yuktobanian Militaries. They had two Squadrons at their disposal in each military. The Yuktobanian 'Ofnir' Squadron lead by Michael Heimeroth and the Osean 8492nd Squadron, actually known as the Grabacr Fighter Squadron, lead by Ashley Bernitz; each were Belkan Aces from the war 15 years ago.
The 'Grey Men' had planned on keeping the War between the two Countries active so they would eventually lose economic . They did this by capturing the Osean and Yuktobanian Head Leaders. Also, they were beginning to rebuild their Military by using funds from a South Belkan Company in Sudentor, known as Grunder Industries; which sold Weaponry and Aircraft to each nation.
During the Osean operations in Yuktobania, the 8492nd Squadron was operating covertly. In one case during the Osean Advancement into Yuktobania they had attacked a Yuktobanian College Facility, during an Osean Campaign to reassure Civilian Safety. This move by them had taken a vital Osean Squadron, known as the War Dog Squadron, out of the War temporarily; the War Dog squadron were a pivotal Osean Squadron in the war, which were responsible for the success many large Operations. Unfortunately for them, the War Dog returned to the front lines.
During that time an unknown group of assailants had managed to board the Osean Super Weapon, the Ark Bird in space and sabotaged it. Thus knocking it out of action and balancing the power between each side.
The Belkan Operatives then managed to help Yuktobanian Aircraft penetrate Osean Air Space and attempt to kill the Osean Vice President, during a speech in November City. The 8492nd, also there, had another chance to attack the War Dog. After an Aircraft crashed on landing at a nearby Air Field, the 8492nd managed to fool incoming Osean Aircraft into thinking the raid was just a drill and they turned back. Because of this one of the War Dog members was killed in Action.
Days later in Yuktobania, the 8492nd and multiple Aircraft, believed to be Belkan Aircraft, jumped the War Dog during their flight back to Sand Island. The War Dog managed to escape.
However, a former 8492nd Pilot now an Advisor at Sand Island Air Base, Allen C. Hamilton indicated the War Dog to be spies. When they landed Military Police attempted to capture them, but they escaped in Trainer Aircraft. All Osean Aircraft were ordered to shoot them down on sight. The 8492nd Squadron, in the area, pursued them, but lost them and disengaged. The War Dog were later shot down by an Aircraft from the Osean Marine Defense Force.
With the War Dog not tipping the balance of the war, the 'Grey Men' continued their efforts. However, soon the War Dog had resurfaced as "The Ghosts of Razgriz" and rescued the Osean President from Steir Castle in Belka. The Razgriz then were sighted operating over Belka, near a mine shaft where the Belkan Nuclear Weapons from the Belkan War, were located, also there they found aircraft from the Grabacr and Ofnir Squadrons. The next day the mine was destroyed, but two Nuclear Devices were taken out of the country. The first was stolen, days later by Yuktobanian Resistance Fighters, in a Canyon. The ‘Razgriz’ had appeared in the Canyon Air Space and destroyed all Yuktobanian military forces searching for them. However, the Ofnir Squadron had also entered the Canyon in pursuit of them. After a High Speed Air-to-Air battle, the Ofnir were shot down, but ejected.
The next Nuclear Weapon was found onboard the Ark Bird, which was secretly repaired and modified by Belkan Units, during the midst of the War. It was attacked by The Razgriz as well. Unfortunately for the ‘Grey Men’ the Ark Bird was too shot down and the Nuclear Weapon was lost over the Ceres Ocean. Soon after that, the Yuktobanian Prime Minister was rescued by the Razgriz in Yuktobania. The Grabacr Fighter Squadron did engage them, but also were shot down. They too had ejected.
After losing the two Weapons their last card, the Re-vamped V-2 Project was the only thing that the Belkans had left. The V-2 was stored in the Grunder Industries’ Underground Test Facility in Sudentor. However, the Osean President and Yuktobanian Prime Minister had made their way back into Osea and announced the Grey Men’s plans to use the V-2 on one of their countries. A Combined Osean-Yuktobanian Force, with the Razgriz, had then attacked the Grunder Facility. The Belkan Operatives there then said that they would hand over the V-1, the less powerful weapon, if the War Mongers in the area would protect their facility. Soon, each force were engaged in combat over Sudentor.
In a rush effort, the Belkan Forces managed to make the SOLG, a Sub-Orbital Cannon made during the Belkan War, but never completed; operational. It then began to attack the advancing Ground Forces, heading towards Grunder Industries. The Combined Forces working against the Belkans managed to open the Base’s main blast doors and the Razgriz had flown into the Matinence Tunnel being chased by Allen C. Hamilton, the Sand Island Base Advisor. The Razgriz managed to destroy the V-2’s first Power Generator, while an Osean Pilot named Jack “Heart Break One” Bartlett flew in from the other side and destroyed the secondary generator. During their escape, the Razgriz were engaged by multiple aircraft, but managed to escape.
Allen C. Hamilton was killed by one of these aircraft which had come in in-front of them. The V-2 and the SOLG Control Facilities were destroyed and the Belkan Operatives, seeing their defeat they had pre-programmed the SOLG to fall onto the Osean Capital of Oured, if contact was lost with Grunder Industries. As SOLG fell into the atmosphere, the Razgriz had launched from Oured in an attempt to destroy the Satellite. They were intercepted by a combined Belkan Fighter Unit of Ofnir and Grabacr. As the SOLG fell into the Atmosphere, the Ofnir and Grabacr continued their fight against the Razgriz, but were ultimately shot down and killed. Later, the SOLG was also destroyed by the Razgriz and all Belkan Activities had ceased once again. The Grey Men had managed to slip away unharmed, as they did once before.
-Post Circum Pacific War (711 SC- )
After the war, Belkan and Osean intelligence tracked down and arrested several Grey Men survivors, many of which were sentenced to death due to war crimes.
Grunder Industries would be temporarily owned by the state and would later be bought out by General Resource Ltd.
It is unknown what happened to the Belkan government outside of what is currently known after the Circum-Pacific War.

-Pre Historic and Centrun Estovakia
The Vakians and the Nordeans were early neolithic civilizations sometime between the 9th and 4th millennium BSC. Before the Centruns discovered and colonized what is now Estovakia, the Nordean Islands was the birthplace of Alex the Conqueror, who would eventually unite Estovakia under his rule.
The Centruns made a voyage to Estovakia and they claimed the area (as well as what would later be the Felinsulian Principality and Kingdom of Gracemeria. No less than 17 Centrun emperors came from Estovakia.
-Medieval Kingdoms and the Estovakian Empire (800 BSC-159 SC)
The beginning of the Estovakian state began with the White Vakians, led by the Unknown Arbiter, settling in what is now the Estovakian city of Srebrni Bor. It was a dependency of Okcha Yuke, but managed to gain independence in 450 BSC. Estovakia later became a Christian Kingdom through the support of the Byzantine Delaran Empire.
The First Dynasty died out in 340 BSC, of which the Estovakian War of Sucession (340-329 BSC) led to factions fighting each other. By 83 BSC, treaties and warmaking led to the establishment of the Establishment of the Kingdom of Estovakia, and later the Estovakian Empire.
During the period of the Empire, a series of laws known as the Dusanic code was enforced. Dusan's successor, Stefan ruled after his father's death, but his feeble attitude and war with Javrovonokians led to the destruction of the Estovakian nobility.
This was followed by Suleymanic incursions and battles between the strong Delaran Navy and the weaker Estovakian Navy. Because of the Delarans war-making skills and strategies they've used in the early years of their war against Recta and the Halbergs, the Estovakians never stood a chance. by 159, the Estovakian Empire fell, replaced by a Delaran-administrated caliphate.
-Delaran and Gebetan Rule (159-439 SC)
After Delarus effectively ended Stovie independence, they did regain some sovreignty under Jovan Nenad, but the Suleymanic-Halberg Wars effectively split Estovakia in two between Islamic Dealran and Christian Halberg rule. This led many Estovakians to leave to the Northern frontiers along Emmeria's Western border (some even heading to Emmeria itself), partly due to the Delaran's brutal reign.
-Estovakian Revolution and Independence (504-578 SC)
The 1st modern Independent Estovakian nation was established from the Estovakian Revolution (504-1517 SC), because of the far distance from the main Delaran Empire, coupled with threats from Yuktobania and the Bonasparsan Wars (505-515 SC), led to the Delaran-controlled half of Estovakia to become autonomous as the Principality of Estovakia. It would not be until 530 SC, when Delarus finally accepted the autonomy of the Estovakian Principality. 8 years later, a Constitution was put into place.
For the first several decades, the Estovakian government supported the Halberg government in Eastern Estovakia, although Nationalism began to make the support a bit strained.
Following clashes between Delaran troops and Estovakians, the Principality of Estovakia and the Norde Island States sought total independence from Delarus, sparking a war between the two. (577-578 SC) Estovakia won the war thanks to the support of it's greatest ally, the Yuktobanian Empire and under the Treaty of Dinsmark, the Stovies enjoyed full independence for the first time since 159.
-Estovakian Monarch and the Great War (515-618 SC)
From 515 to 603 SC, Estovakia was ruled by the house of Obrenovic, which was recognized by the Delaran Empire. When Estovakia became independent, it became a Kingdom.
From 603 SC until 643 SC, the Kingdom would be ruled under the house of Karadordevic.
As for western Estovakia, the Gebetans created the seat of Great Duke of Estovakia, a position which remained until the Great War (1914-1918)
The Great War was caused by a desire to unite Estovakia, which put them at odds with Gebet to the point where Gebet declared war on them. This followed with Yuktobania mobilizing and causing Belka and Gebet to declare war on Yuktobania, then Erusea on Belka, then Emmeria on Belka and so forth until just about all of the independent nations (sans the Southern Osean Nations) to fight in the conflict.
The Estovakians were able to defeat the Gebetans at several key battles, with the support of the Emmerian Army. However, due to stubborn resistance, it was not till the end of the war that Estovakia was cleared of Gebetans.
The treaty of Goldenrod in 619 BSC, gave Western Estovakia to the Kingdom, which united to form the United Kingdom of the Two Estovakias.
-The United Kingdom Era (619-643 SC)
During this period, the Estovakians enjoyed a stable peace early in the era, however, this came at end when Socialist partisans, supported by the newly-established Union of Yuktobanian Republics, launched a terror campaign that eventually became known as the Second Estovakian Revolution. The last King of Estovakia, King Alexander II, tried using methods that made him unpopular with the masses in an attempt to defeat the Partisans. However, it failed and by 643, after the whole population was spurred against the monarch, Alexander abdicated the throne and the partisans set up the Socialist Federal Republic of Estovakia.
-Socialist Federal Republic (643-707 SC)
During the Socialist era, Estovakia came under the control of a dictator named Bishop Tito. Under Tito, he established equal civil rights for all ethnic groups in Estovakia, he eliminated the dominance of the Yuktobanian bloc in Estovakia, mainly by trade with both Osea and Emmeria as well as Yuktobania and Leasath.
Tito's policy of Brotherhood and Unity made Estovakia one of the most prosperous nations on the Anean Continent.
However, after Tito's death in 692 SC, the prosperity of Estovakia began to wane. There were some tensions between Estovakians in various areas such as the Norde Islands and the Northern Highlands.
This was made worse with the discovery of the Ulysses 1994XF04 asteroid in 694 SC. Estovakia was one of many nations which had been threatened by the Ulysses XF041994 Asteroid. While it is unconfirmed wether or not Estovakia contributed to the Stonehenge Project on the Usean Continent, it is highly likely. But it was clear that Estovakia underwent self-defense by establishing massive railgun called "Project Chandelier", though it was not ever completed and used to destroy the asteroid.
When the Ulysses Asteroid split into more than a thousand pieces after passing the Roche Limit, Estovakia was one of the nations which suffered severe damage. Like nations on the Usean Continent, Estovakia also fell into a state of unbalance and economic ruin. Since 700 SC, an initiative of Estovakia's reconstruction plan was begun, solely supported by Emmerian government. Various global assistance and support activities initiated by Emmeria were arranged and frequently disposed to Estovakia. However, due to the conflicts among newly-formed independent armed Factions, the activities were decidedly put on hold until further stabilized circumstance.
-The Estovakian Civil War (707-715 SC)
However, a civil war outbroke within Estovakia, that lasted for 6 years. It was caused by tragedy occurred when 200,000 people were tragically killed when Lyes United Front (LUF) cut off supply line while taking control of the western region of Estovakia. They supported the reconstruction effort from Emmeria, however, they also used the humanitarian aid as a means to suppress the opposition. On 710, Emmerian government decided to suspend the humanitarian assistance with LUF as regards of irresponsible assistance policy by current Estovakian government.
There were 5 factions of each region when the Estovakian Civil War broke out; the Eastern Faction, the Lyes United Front, the Independent Tariff Federation, the Island Coalition and the Northern Highlands Faction. The most powerful faction of all, the Eastern Faction, had been extensively encountering another powerful faction, the Lyes United Front, who claimed themselves as the "legitimate government" of Estovakia right before they started to cause the Civil War. The Eastern Faction eventually attained decisive victory over Lyes and Island Coalition. Strigon and Vampire Team were the important keys of Eastern Faction's strength throughout the conflict.
During Post-Civil War, Estovakia, aided by Emmeria, continued the reconstruction plan. However, many incidents were still inflicted. Former members of Lyes United Front were the ones who were responsible for the direct attack on food and medical supply facility and an attack to former Estovakia's Foreign Minister. Near on its end, it was finally settled by the establishment of the Federal Republic of Estovakia, a military government led by "The Generals" which in turn was led by General Victor Dvornik.
-Emmeria-Estovakia War (715-716 SC)
Under the foundation of military rules, Estovakia furtively undertook huge military preparations to overrun a peaceful, well-prospered neighbor, Emmeria. With strong military establishment, Estovakia began to set out a sudden attack over capital of Emmeria, Gracemeria. Scrambling all their armed forces to defend their capital city, Emmeria were about to put off the attack for awhile. However, some formations of unidentified air forces abruptly appeared and quickly turned the tide. Derived from the "Aerial Fleet Initiative" program, the Estovakia's infamous aerial fleet, comprised of Aigaion, Gyges, and Kottos, successfully dominated Emmerian airspaces. Estovakia successfully seized Gracemeria and kept overcoming other locations within the nation. Fortification structures were also specially assembled. Known as Bartolomeo and Ragno Fortress, formerly owned by Emmeria, those were naturally to strengthen their sovereignty inside Emmeria. Only two months later, Estovakia successfully took all over Emmeria's territories.
However, the Estovakians were unable to complete the crucial step of taking the remaining territories, Silvat, which would be placed under siege for the next 4 months of the war, and Vitoze, the Capital of the Emmerian Autonomus State of Khesed, which would be where the Emmerians would launch a counterattack and retake Khesed Island.
After a sucessful Ampibious landing at the Battle of Ortara and Jamel Desert. The Emmerians broke the Siege of Silvat, which became infamous to the Estovakian leader as he lost his daughter Irena, a fighter pilot, in that battle. This led the General to slowly become mentally unstable, and sought the Emmerians destroyed.
However, the Estovakians were unable to defeat the Emmerians, the strike teams led by the Republic of Emmeria's Air Force's 8th Air Division, 28th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Garuda," or in perticular, the Squadron's flight leader, "Talisman." His skills on the battlefield brought fear to the Estovakians, especially after he led the air assault to destroy the Estovakian Aerial Battle Fleet.
Eventually, the Estovakians lost the Emmerian capital city of Gracemeria. Disappointed over the loss, General Dvornik began operations to raze Gracemeria to the Ground using "Project: Chandelier." But after a failed attack led to the discovery of the cannon, the Emmerian Air Force was sent into destroy the Anti-Meteor Railgun in the Battle of Sonne Island.
Despite everything the Estovakians gave in a desperate attempt to win the battle, the Chandelier was destroyed and Dvornik was killed in the battle. Shortly thereafter, a coup d'tat overthrew the Generals and established a civilian Federal Parliamentary Republic, and has been this way since.

-Pre-Sapiniard Aurelia
The earliest evidence of sapient life in Aurelia was in 13,000 BSC, in the Patagonia Ruins in Central Aurelia, near the Kalana Steppes. the Imban Empire from Risaralda came south and conquered the Northern part of modern Aurelia in 180 SC. The central regions were united under the Punans in the 5th Century SC.
-Sapiniard Aurelia: Viceroyalty of Griswall
East Osean explorers arrived in the Southern Osean Continent in 216 SC, When Sapin established the Viceroyalty of Risaralda in 242 SC and encompassed all it's holdings within the region (Including at the time, the Rectan colony of San Andréia) and establishing a permanent colony in Griswall in 280 SC. By 476 SC, the Risaralda Viceroyalty split and the Southern Half became the Viceroyalty of Griswall.
The area was largely a colony of Sapinish immigrants and their descendants, known as the Aurelianos (named after Aurelius V of Emmeria) as well as other immigrants from the Osean Kingdom and slaves from Usean and the West Yuktobanian Continent. Other inhabitants included the natives who lived in the Southern Regions.
The Viceroyalty was subject to two Emmerian invasions, both in 506 and 507 SC, both were soundly defeated by the Sapiniard settlers.
-Aurelian War of Independence: The United Provinces of South Osea
On May 25, 510 SC, after rumors of Maximmillian Bonasparse's takeover of Sapin, the citizens of Griswall created the First Government Junta, which led to the creation of the United Provinces of South Osea.
Between 514-524 SC, the indpendentist armies fought wars of independence across the Southern Osean Continent, scoring victory after victory over the weakened Sapinish colonial government, and helped spawn the liberation of Risaralda and Nueva Constantina. Leasath would follow suit as an independent nation following the Aurelian-San Andreian War of 525 SC (ending in 528 SC)
-Aurelian Confederation and the Triple Entente War
The controversial conclusion of the 525 War led to the rise of a Griswall Provisional Governor named Jose Rosas to power and further federalized the Aurelian United Provinces into States, forming the Aurelian Confederation.
As head of the Confederation, Rosas unleashed a reign of terror, jailing an killing political rivals. It wasn't until 552 SC that Rosas was overthrown by a combined Aurelian, San Andreian and Leasathian assault.
After the war, a new constitution was made, drafted by local scholar Manuel Alberdi, and endured the difficult early years of the new Republic. National Unity further strengthed during the Triple Entente War that left Risaralda in shambles.
-Rise of the Federal Republic of Aurelia
A rise in immigration in the 570's SC led to the further development of agriculture and a near re-invention of Aurelian society and economy. A military campaign to subdue to the Auerlindian tribes in Southern Aurelia succeeded, with roughly 1300 dead.
Aurelia continued to grow in prosperity in the period between 580 and 629 SC. In 612, Aurelia was considered at the time, one of the 10 riches countries in the world. Aurelian immigration and decreasing morality rates led to exponential rates of population growing 5-fold every 10 years and the economy growing 15-fold.
Conservatives led the country through non-democratic means until 1912 when Aurelian President Delmacio Peña, enacted Universal Male Suffrage and secret ballots, leading the rival Radical Civic Union, led by Roque Yrigoven to power.
Yrigoven enacted several different liberal reforms in support of farmers and small business, but the Great Depression of the 630's brought Yrigoven out of power.
-Peronism: The Mid 7th Century SC
In 646 SC, Jorge Peron was elected President of Aurelia, creating a political ideology known as Peronism. His wife, Evita played a major role in Aurelian Politics until her death in 652 SC. Peron's programs led to the increase of union workers, government programs and privitization of farming, helping to ride out of the depression for Aurelia.
However, stable prices and exchange rates were disrupted, with the Aurelian peso losing as much as 70% of it's value between 648 and 650 SC and inflation increased by 50% in 651 SC.
Peron's foriegn policy was increasingly isolationist, straining relations with the Osean Federation. Peron's started to repress the populace and jail political opponents, it grew increasingly bad that the military launched a coup to overthrow the government. Peron fled into exile shortly thereafter.
The military undid many of Peron's reforms and instituted free elections in 558 SC. He did enjoy support from Peronists, and managed to do many reforms including working on energy independence. However, military intervention forced even him to resign.
His successors also managed to do some reforms before military intervention forced them from power, to the point where the military directly took over in 666 SC. Although repressionist, they attempted some reforms, invested money into public works. But protests and riots brought Peron back into power in 673 SC, only to die a year later.
Peron's successor and second wife, Isabella was chosen as a compromise, but left-wing and right-wing conflict forced the military to launch a coup that overthrew all traces of civilian government and instituted a military dictatorship.
-Military Dictatorship, the Terminus Island War and into the 8th Century
While the dictatorship did bring stability through public reforms, frequent wage freezes and financial deregularization led to a sharp fall in living standards and foreign debt. In addition to this, Human Rights abuses from the government and their loss to Emmeria in the Terminus Islands War in 682 SC led to the fall of the military dictatorship a year later.
It would be until 700 SC that the hyperinflation from that government to return to normal.
For the next 20 years the Aurelian government was able to gain back the riches lost, and used it to support Leasath, still hyperinflated and weakened economically. A matter which was further complicated in the Third Leasath Civil War (719 SC).
-Aurelia-Leasath War
In 2020, its neighbor to the north, Leasath, invaded it in a swift blitzkrieg. Within 10 days, 95% of Aurelia fell under Leasath control. The reason for the swift fall was later revealed to be the work of the Leasath superweapon, the airborne fortress Gleipnir. Its army shattered, its cities in ruin, all seemed lost for the small country.
A small base in the northwestern part of the country, Aubrey Base, had not fallen under Leasath control. An attempt was made to change that, with 3 squadrons of B-52s dispatched to level the area. Gryphus Squadron, the local fighter squadron, was dispatched to destroy them. All Leasath forces were destroyed with minimal Aurelian casualties. However, on the return trip, the Gleipnir decloaked from the Puna Plains and launched an SWBM at Gryphus Squadron. All but Gryphus 1 died. The attack shattered Aurelian morale, but did not discourage them from attaining their goal: Liberate Aurelia. Remaining forces then began a long and brutal operation to retake the country from Leasath. The first obstacle was a Leasath outpost on the Puna Plains. This base housed bombers, in preparation for another attack on Aubrey Base, one that if carried out, would have resulted in the destruction of the only Aurelian stronghold. Gryphus 1 was dispatched to destroy the base, which he accomplished.
The next phase of the offensive was Port Patterson, a major supply center and Leasath hub. Aurelian Command managed to scrape together a small invasion force and proceeded to take the base. However, Leasath got wind of this, and several battalions of soldiers were inbound. These troops were too much for the small Aurelian ground forces to handle, and Gryphus 1 assisted them by destroying all landing craft and supporting naval vessels. Subsequently, Port Patterson fell. Aurelia established a foothold there, allowing them to push farther into the country. The next steps were difficult. Leasath forces were mobilizing at Kingshill to retake the port, while the Gleipnir was positioned at Terminus Island to the south, assaulting the Davis Unit trapped at Stand Canyon.
Aurelian forces than advanced on Santa Elva, a major city and transportation hub vital to Leasath's control over Aurelia. Due to the threat of the Gleipnir, ground forces held back while Gryphus 1 and his wingmen assaulted the airborne fortress.
Gryphus 1 managed to destroy the Gleipnir, which crashed near Downtown, taking out a bridge in the process. The destruction of the Gleipnir boosted Aurelian morale to an unprecedented level. Plans for the next phase of the war began.
The next target was the Aurelian capital, Griswall. Unfortunately, several obstacles stood in the way. Sachana Air Base, the country's largest airbase and home of the elite anti-air Skylla Unit, a Leasath regiment on the Kalana Steppes preparing to retake Santa Elva, a transport squadron preparing to transport a weapon to Griswall and the Nevera Jammer preventing Aurelia from tracking enemy movements.
Despite their best efforts, Santa Elva came under attack from the Hamlet Unit, a Leasath Biological Special Forces Unit. Despite an unstable delivery device, Gryphus 1 was able to neutralize the gas and destroy all Leasath fighters. The enemy tank regiment on the Kalana Steppes was also destroyed, but not before putting up fierce resistance. The Skylla Unit escaped Sachana Airbase in order reinforce the Nevera Jammer. Despite danger from ground launched RPGs, Aurelian CH-47s were able to retake the base, adding yet another asset to the war.
The Nevera Jammer was then assaulted, despite the heavy jamming in the area. Gryphus 1 was able to locate the power stations to the radars SAM defense systems, even though the Skylla Unit attempted to stop him by destroying the metal towers which led him to the stations. Upon destruction of the jammer, Aurelia then assaulted Monte Breeze, a port southwest of Griswall, and the location of a Leasath weapons plant. Several transports were caught hauling M.B.S.Rs out of the area. They were shot down, but it was then revealed that an Aurelian resistance force, the A.L.C (Aurelian Liberation Corps) was headed to the weapons factories, which Leasath had rigged with explosives. Gryphus 1 managed to destroy the factories, much to the chagrin of the A.L.C.
The final step was Griswall.
The Assault on Griswall took planning, as it was protected by the Leasath Air Defense System, the Meson Cannon.
Operation: Gaiuss Tower began on an unknown day in December of 2020, with columns of Aurelian tanks advancing on Gaiuss Tower, the nerve center of Leasath forces. The Meson Cannon inflicted barely any casualties and didnt shoot down any aircraft except for Ninox 2, an Aurelian SU-27 Flanker pilot. Gryphus 1 destroyed all Meson Cannon batteries and neutralized Leasath forces. Diego Navarro, Leasaths Commander, escaped in a C-17 earlier upon learning Aurelian forces were outside of Griswall. Gaiuss Tower fell and Aurelia was free. However, the war wasnt over yet.
The next morning, Navarro's C-17 was spotted heading for an unknown complex on an island appx. 20 miles south of Leasath. The Aurelian Recon Unit Otus pursuing him were shot down by unidentified stealth aircraft, codenamed FENRIR.
Gryphus 1 was immediately scrambled to quell the threat of this new weapon. But the complex where FENRIR was housed was in a chain of islands housing several Leasath complexes. One island housed the development facility for a weapon for Fenrir.
Gryphus 1 managed to destroy the development facility, as well as the elite Leasath Alect Squadron. Archelon Fortress was within striking distance.
Gryphus 1 attacked the island along with the Aquila Squadron. A fierce dogfight erupted between Aurelian forces and the last Leasath fighters. While the battle ensued, an Aurelian amphibious unit landed on the island and took the Electrical Transmitter, the device powering FENRIR's DOS. Gryphus 1 destroyed the transmitter, nullifying the camouflage. He then proceeded to destroy all FENRIRs and Leasath aircraft. The amphibious force entered the fortress and encountered another FENRIR taking off. Gryphus 1 entered the fortress and destroyed all FENRIRs inside, as well as a Leasath U-2 Dragon Lady. The fortress then imploded as Gryphus 1 escaped with seconds to spare. The war was finally over.

A relatively small but wealthy archipelagic nation located southwest of Sotoa and east of Vetenesia, Averon has strong foreign relations with democratic countries such as Osea, Emmeria and Usea. The country has a steady growing economy and is best known for its pristine white beaches, friendly locals and beautiful scenery. The capital is the city of Tamilla.
Averon was a former Sapinish Colony from 265 SC until 596 and a former Osean Colony from 597 SC until 648. Both it’s colonizers have greatly influenced Averonian Culture and the country features a unique blend of the cultures and customs of Sapin, Osea and with a twist of Averon’s very own ancient traditions going way back when Averon was an island kingdom. It became a fully recognized state in 648 SC when the Oseans finally left and granted the Averonians independence.

History:
San Andréia was discovered in 200 SC by Rectan explorer Alfonso Álvares. Recta initially showed little interest, focusing on trade in Sotoa and Verusea. The Rectans however took over the area due to Sapiniard incursion in the region and used the land to acquire resources like wood and sugar. Over the course of 300 years, the Rectans moved inland, sparking a war with Guarnian Tribes in 456 which the colonist achieved victory with help from the Sapinish colony, Rio de la Nevara.
During the Rectan Theater of the Bonasparsan Wars (508-514 SC), King Joao VII transferred the Rectan court to then San Andréian capital Rio de Fevereiro. After the war’s end and the Brunies Conference in 515 SC, King Joao created the Kingdom of Recta and San Andréia. During Joao’s time, he established schools, enabled freedom of speech and improved commerce and trade. But severe depression in Recta forced the King to return there in 520, leaving Prince Alfonso in charge of San Andréia. The Recta Parliament wanted Alfonso to return, but in a letter to his father and to the senate, Alfonso refused to return to recta and declared San Andréia Independent with the Prince Pedro becoming Emperor Alfonso I on December 25, 521 SC.
The first years of independence was marked with political troubles between those who believed Alfonso was too liberal, and those who believed he wasn’t liberal enough. He had to deal with a succession crisis to the North against of a group calling themselves the Ecuadorian Confederation in 524, who opposed Alfonso I’s reforms. It was brutally suppressed later that year.
Another important crisis was war with the United Provinces of Aurelia over the province of Alendai in August of 525. After 2 years of fighting, the conflict ended with the treaty of Alendai, giving the disputed land independence as the Democratic Republic of Leasath.
Another matter was slavery, Useans were being sent in to San Andreia to work in coffee plantations, the slave trade was already disestablished when the original colonial powers (Sapin, Recta, Erusea, Emmeria) gave up slavery, with only Osea and San Andreia still using it. Pedro wanted to abolish slavery, but that law was given to the pro-slavery government.
Because of the death of King Joao in 528, people feared of a United Kingdom of Recta and San Andreia. Demonstrations and protest ravaged the country and the Emperor was forced to abdicate in favor of his 5 year old son, Alfonso II. Alfonso I would die of tuberculosis in 530.
This continued a period of insurgency which lasted generally until the end of the slave trade in 545, and the resulting Griswall War of 550 against the Leasathian National Party and its ally, the Aurelian Confederation (formerly the United Provinces).
In the 560’s the Imperial government conspired to replace the National Party of Leasath with their allies, the Leasathian Democratic Party, however when San Andreia attempted to do so in January 565 SC, it led to an invasion of Leasath and San Andreia by the Risaraldan Confederation. Risaralda then attempted to gain support of the Aurelians but when they unknowingly invaded Aurelian territory it led to war between the Aurelia, Leasath and San Andreia. This conflict, known as the Triple Entiente War, lasted until August 569 and almost destroyed Risaralda.
During the war, slaves serving with the soldiers were freed. Later, all state-owned slaves were freed in 574 SC. Pedro and the Parliament passed a law abolishing slavery in 585. But because of famine in the northern part of the country due to failed crops, as well as a growing sense of Republicanism that had been growing in the 570’s and 580’s, led to a coup d’état that overthrew the Emperor, Alfonso II, and replaced with the Republic of the United States of San Andreia, with a constitution written in 589 SC.
The country was run as a constitutional democracy until 666 SC. During that time, the style of government was in a populist style, but in the 660’s the San Andreian President at the time, Janio Oliveira, attempted reforms that angered the politicians, the worker class and the military. The military launched a coup d’état overthrew the government and replaced it with a military dictatorship. As a dictatorship, they used an authoritarian styled government and, according to a truth and reconciliation committee in 707 SC, revealed that the junta carried out 550 government-sponsored assassinations across the country.
After the military junta fell in 685, the newly named Federative Republic of San Andreia began a period of economic and military growth. In 15 years the country had the second largest GDP in the Southern Osean Continent, only lagging behind its rival, the Federal Republic of Aurelia.
