Favourite playable Chrono Trigger character
So, who are your favourite playable character(s) in Chrono Trigger?
In my opinion, I would have to say Chrono and Ayla are my favourite playable characters in CT. I like Chrono because he has awesome techs (Luminaire, anyone?) and he can do great triple techs. (And yes, it's Chrono, not "Crono", the translators just had to fit it into five letters in the English translation)
Ayla is my other favourite CT character, because she has some of the better techs in the game (Charm and Triple Kick), and I like her 9999 damage critical hit with her Bronze Fist (you can even do a glitch with it, lol)

Hmm...I liked Ayla's strength that I often did critical hits with and Magus' magic spells (with his retro disco-like casting stance that makes me lol xD).

I love the fact that the whole cast is great. They all have their strengths & weaknesses and are also just well developed characters. If I had to choose, I'd definitely say Magus though. He's the character we get to know the most about & his appearance and theme are just great. He may eventually get trumped Magically by Crono, Lucca & even Robo and he's only a medium-strength Physical attacker, but I think he's probably the strongest character mentally...

Chrono Trigger is the only game I've played where I have no favorite-I can't decide, 'cause every character is awesome. Pity Chrono Cross went for quantity, not quality, in characters-most were cool in an inexplicably weird way, but there were just too many. I hope some day they make an third game where they manage to meld the party size of Chrono Trigger with the utterly insane character concepts of Chrono Cross...

I like every character in their own way, but the two I voted for was Magus and Ayla. I really liked Ayla's personality and strength in battle, and the same with Magus.

Ugh......i loved all the characters...hard to decide. But if i had to choose i would say either magus chrono or frog....that usually ends up being my party when i play.
P.S...cant wait for the DS remake =)

I chose Chrono, Marle, and Frog. Frog is just awesome, imo, and I like his bacground. He was also the first time I'd ever heard of the Masamune, which was righteously badass.
Chrono, 'casue I love getting to commit all of those crimes in the beginning, and Marle always reminded me of some sexy gypsie girl.
Whatever.
