American Dad just cannot compare to Family Guy. To have a more closer battle of the polls, I think you should have matched up Family Guy with Futurama. That would be a close match.

Definitely Family Guy. It's really funny. Actually i really havn't seen American Dad at all yet. I do need to watch it sometime to see if its better. But right the only show that competes with Family Guy as far as funnyness (if thats a word) would have to be South Park

Neither show is that great, but I'll go with Family Guy since I actually bother watching it every now and then.
Family Guy is overrated. It was amazing before it was cancelled.
