I can't say that Cher is my favourite artist, but to actually answer the question at hand; I'm somewhat torn in between. Ironically I'm going through this now. Of course there is literally life after love (unless you opt for the other way out), but right now I feel that my life is effectively over. I can't see much of a future, or at least compared to what I've just lost.
But thinking realistically, "there's plenty more fish in the sea." I know it's stupid to think that I'll never have such a great thing again, and that I'm the first one this has happened to.

Hahaha, I thought of Cher as well as soon as I saw that. I'm not too keen on that song either. It's a tad bit annoying.

Havent heard that song but i do NOT like Cher, thus why i try to hear as little of her stuff as possible xD
As for life after love, of course there's life after love...but life is rather unpleasant and meaningless (IMO, anyway) without it.

Not a Cher fan either and I intend to keep it that way.
But on a serious note hell yes there's "life after love". Plenty of life, and you're not too shackled down any longer to enjoy the rest of its aspects. Call me cynical, but I prefer to see love as a ball and chain towards this end.

Haha, a ball and chain? You must not have had very pleasant relationships then.
The way i am, i view ALOT of things in life and current society as utterly pointless. And having someone i'm in love with, someone to genuinely care for, actually gives me something i find worthwhile and meaningful.
