I saw a pic that shows a battle scene from XIII. The name "Lightning" could have been a spell in the attack chain, but people thought that was her name cuz it also looks it could be a name for a character.

as for the hot FFVXIII guy, I don't know.

They seem to love weather related names. Cloud, Squall, Lightning, Storm...

Last time FFXIII info was given by Nomura, he said that the name he gives the Prince may just be a surname. It was also stated that the next time FFXIII info is released, that he was going to tell us the character's name.

Some people are already calling him Storm, so I wouldn't be surprised if Nomura just went ahead with that.

Apparently Nomura wants to end the trend calling the main characters weather names and that if he did call the FFvXIII character a weather name it would only be because the FFXIII team calling the main character 'Lightning'...and also 'The Prince/'Storm's' (whatever you want to call him) clothes are likely to be changed.

zack i agree with surname because it is more japanese (im sorry if it sounds bad or anything but its were the game is created) and storm is kind of dumb (sorry again)

I don't know who told me this or what website i got this off of, but ithink it might be Ash (i know its like Princess Ashe off of FF12 but that's what i heard) and i also heard that the main character in ff 13 name is lightning.

Slightly off the main character in ff13 name isn't lightning her code name is because she appraently dosn't now her real name.

Also the guy in ff13 versus name is planned to realised on the games realise date and not a day before(well so they say). I would also like to point out that the guy in versus his eyes don't change colour when hes summoning different weapons but when hes using his weapons his eyes turn red.
