I would sort of dislike the main character being called Storm...considering it is more of a woman's name rather than a mans. I reckon it could be revealed in this year's E3 conference considering no news has been released lately concerning Versus XIII...or XIII generally.

There's an X Men character named Storm and therefore there may be other female fictional characters with the same name, and probably no male ones.

Your making a big statement by saying his name is NOT Storm, he might be and might not be...all you've given us is a statement without a source, hardly reliable. I don't know why anyone would get Storm from Somnus though.
Therefore, until it's announced he can be called The Prince/Nomura's unoriginal idea/Storm or whatever else you want him to be called

Hmm... Storm sounds like a feasible name because they already have someone named Lightning, maybe there's a connection. Anyway, we shouldn't argue how the guy is going to be named, it's the FFXIII as a whole that matters and not the name.

My claims have a lot more substance than the theory of his name being storm.. first of all If you research some what you would already know that Nomura has indeed confirmed his name has something to do with latin.. So i am not completely without source.. i would link you but im on my psp. Also the only reason the name storm has been going around is based on his apperance.. smokey dark hair with blue tint/highlight.
The only reason you think his name is Storm is because its a popular rumor, its upsetting that alot of fans are getting misinformation about this. Bottom Line is there is absolutely no proof his name is storm and there is FACTUAL evidence to prove it is not as well. I think Nomura's word counts for something..

So you're saying that because the X Men character Storm is female the name Storm can only ever be used for ficticious female characters and never male ones?
